I have been to this shop 2x and each time they did a nice job. They actually are doing some work to repair my nails after another shop messed up my nails with acrylic. They are polite, take appointments and have a great selection of nail polish and it's not all constantly needing redissolving with acetone or ethyl acetate. Good work and decent prices. I had a simple gell manicure and the gentleman doing my nails didn't file my nails evenly, left the nail polish clumpy and my hands are so dry because he put very little lotion on them. This is the best nail salon in Maryland.  I have tried 10Places in 10 years.   They charge $30 for a mani/pedi. They also do SNS nails which is an odor free and healthier way to extend nail length.  My nails were ragged from acrylic tips. SNS made my natural  nails healthy for first time in my life.  They do waxing, eye lash extensions & facials. I LOVE this salon! I've been going here for about 3 years now. I always go to Tony - he is friendly, and always knows exactly how I want my nails done. When I call he answers the phone greeting me by name and works with me to find the best available time for my schedule. When I go he offers water and other beverages. If you are looking for eyelash extensions, PLEASE....Do NOT go here! I went to see Tina for eyelash extensions in November and December. She seemed really sweet and I trusted her. I didn't know much about eyelash extensions and her work was really nice, however I realized that she was gluing my natural eyelashes together and putting the extensions in chunks on top of them. That caused my lashes to be pulled out!!!! In addition, when removing them, she scraped them off my lashes which caused them to be pulled out even more. It was super painful, and instead of letting me know that this was happening to my eyelashes, she kept doing it. I felt like I was being lied to just to keep my business. This was months ago, and still today I still have chunks of eyelashes that have not grown back. Came in here on a whim on Mother's Day when I had trouble treating myself to a last minute Mani/Pedi. I met Tina who was short staffed because of the holiday but was more than willing to take me. Even through some appointment mix ups, she was still friendly, courteous, and took her time. Beyond the great service I received, I have to comment on how it's been 3 weeks and I can't believe my nails (and forever struggling cuticles) look amazing. I just recently moved to this location and was looking for a go to nail salon in this area so I tried this place out. When I got there they remembered me from calling earlier and even took the time to  help me pick my perfect nail color. Tony did my nails and he took his time and did them just the way I wanted them. I have been here several times, and I must say that in the beginning they were on their best behavior. They did the pedicures and manicures with patience and skill. However, with time they started slacking. They began to cut corners and do the manicures and pedicures in an inattentive way. Pedicures began taking 2 minutes, they started using cheap top coat on my fingers for the nail polish to dry faster which made the nails have black dots the next day. Not to mention that they only have two employees (SOMETIMES 3), which means that they want to complete your nails as quickly as possible! What a waste of money!! I am never going back to Polish Nail. Worst waxing ever . I went in to get a quick wax because I needed it and the place I usually go to would be closed by time I got off. She cut the front off my eyebrow way too short that's gonna take forever to grow back and it looks like I didn't get a wax at all I'm so pissed and what she charged for it wasn't worth it at all. I love this place. Tina is who I always go to, and she does an incredibly professional job with my gel manicures. Very clean paint job, very beautiful nail shape (I always go rounded square or round). Last time I went my polish stayed on three weeks without a crack. Went in for a gel manicure last Friday and had a terrible experience.  A normal gel mani takes at least 25 minutes and this one was so rushed it took about 10.  In the end my nails look like I painted them myself.  Never going back, what a waste of $35. Read Less

I came here to get my nails done for my wedding. It was my first and last time. My nails were done by Tina. She was very nice. I got a french mani and pedi 2 days before my wedding. On my wedding day my nails started chipping. The polish peeled almost completely off my thumb. It was so bad I had to use scotch tape to keep it together. It was so embarrassing in front of my guests and my photographer/videographer to be hiding it. The next day was my reception. I had to find a salon close to my hotel to get my nail redone. I left for my honeymoon the day after and all of my nails were completely chipped. My mani/pedi barely lasted 3 days. This was a huge disappointment. Went to this place last week and it was terrible. I got a gel manicure and it lasted less than a week. (I've had many gel manicures, I might add)The man that did it didn't even give me a manicure and still charged me full price. My cuticles weren't trimmed and my nails hardly filed. In addition to the terrible manicure part he slapped on a couple layers of paint and sent me out the door in no more than 20 mins. Really?? It was absolutely awful! I just walked into Polish at 3:20 in the afternoon on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. There were exactly 2 customers in the shop. I said I wanted a pedicure and was told no problem, pick out your color. A minute later the woman said "regular pedicure, right"? I said no, a spa pedicure. For which I had a Groupon. Her demeanor immediately changed. She said it would take too long, 40 minutes, and that they don't take walk-ins, only appointments. I was flabbergasted. What nail salon in a suburban strip mall doesn't take walk-ins??  Particularly one with TWO customers in it?! And why has her tune changed when I told her I had a Groupon??You know, this Groupon might be worth letting go. I will NOT be returning to Polish. Read Less

As usual I don't get my nails painted so review is on everything else including using a Groupon. When I first got here I was greeted by a lady who was nice and I told her I had a Groupon and asked if she wanted to scan my voucher right away. I thought I might get treated differently. The chairs they have here are a bit older compared to the other places I've been to. The place is very clean. The lady who was doing my nails asked me if I was getting a spa pedicure or regular pedicure. So I'm assuming noone told her I was using a Groupon, and I don't think she cared if I was or not. She cut my nails short and did a good job cleaning and removing my calluses. She did each foot twice to make sure they were smooth. She was very good with the massages, and she massaged my calves a bit while I had the mud mask on my feet. They use sea salt for the legs instead of putting a mud mask on your feet and legs. She spent a lot of time massaging my feet and did a really good job. Afterwards I felt like my feet were fresh. This spot isn't cheap. I gave CoCo a good tip and I would recommend people to come see her. She does a good thorough job. Read Less

I had the same experience as Mariana L.The walls are peeling paint and  the salon was run down.  However I decided to get my eyelashes done because they were inexpensive.  You get what you pay for. My lashes were done by scary looking man who was very ruff, he took into a small dirty back room to apply my lashes.  First, was drinking a Heineken  and it was 10:00 am in the morning! He put something in on my eyes that burned and I ran to the bathroom to rinse my eyes.  You would think I would have gotten the idea. Second, when he was done I could not open my eyes because they were glued together and he gave me DIVA length lashes even-though I told him i wanted short lashes.  Long story short I had to go the emergency room the next day because he left 7 lashes that were glued in way that they  scraped my eye every time I blinked.because their roots were still digging into my eyeball.
