She went over 14 points to be aware of with my skin care and I have gone to spas like The Pearl, About Faces and Red Door without so much attention. I was referred to this nail salon by my hair stylist and have enjoyed it since my first visit.  Nakia the owner is very professional and knows her craft.  My nail care specialist is Shawn and she knows how to take care of her customers and is a pleasure to be around.  I drive through Baltimore traffic to come to Polished Nail & Skin Care Boutique and I enjoy it every time.  I highly recommend Shawn and this nail salon for their level of service and professionalism. Great 5 star 🌟professional customer service! Nakia is awesome and there's no wonder why she stays booked. As new clients, she was able to take us at the end of the day. She was very courteous and professional to contact me before arriving to inform me apologetically that there would be a different tech providing some of our services and if we still wanted to keep the appointment. Our mani-pedi's were great. I think this boutique is a hidden gem. We were referred to another manicurist but I decided against it when I read the horrible reviews. In my search for a last minute alternative, I saw this boutique had all 5 star reviews. This is no manicure depot where you rush in and any ole' tech hastily does your nails. Polished is a (nail) tip 💅🏻above the rest 👌🏽. While walk-ins are accepted, if you're looking for a manicurist who adheres to appointment times and provides quality and professional services, you need to look no further. I've been going to Nakia for years...she does the BEST pedicure in the Baltimore area! I come from Towson to Randallstown (passing many nail salons along the way) just for her awesome service and super clean polish job. She even has wine sometimes...can't go wrong with that!!! Read Less

After reading Polished Nail's great reviews on YELP, I called to book a pedicure appointment. Nakia was extremely helpful over the phone, taking time to explain the online booking process. My pedicure was a wonderful experience! Nakia was very friendly and made me comfortable from the minute I walked into the salon. I took My Mom to get a facial and a massage for her birthday. The entire experience was phenomenal. Nakia was extremely professional, polite, and thorough. The shop, along with the staff was warm, friendly, and inviting. My Mom talked about her experience to everyone for days. She said it was her 1st time there, but it won't be her last. I was highly impressed with the everything about that day. I am next in line. Thanks Nakia for providing us with a Suburb endeavor. I had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the pampering from Nakia. Her boutique was very clean, she helped me evaluate a wart on my foot, and make a plan to successfully stop ripping my nails apart. Oh my god, Nakia at Polished is an absolute magician. I've never had a better manicure in my life. She was super knowledgeable about skin and nail care, asked me all kinds of questions about my preferences that I've never been asked at any salon, and I left with soft, nice smelling hands and perfect nails. She was so nice and funny and she even gave me a little astrology lesson! It was like hanging out with a friends. My search continues for a clean, reasonably priced salon that provides quality service.  I waited to complete my review so I can comment about the manicure's durability....After searching through thee yelp, I found Polished with RAVE reviews...so I decided to try it out. First things first, Polished is located in Phenix Salon Suites, which is a grouping of smaller suites.  In coming through the main door, go to the left and Polished is straight to the back.  Polished is a boutique setting, it is the perfect amount of space for you and Nakia, which BTW I LOVE.  As a result, you receive her undivided attention.  Appointments are booked online via StyleSeat, be prepared to enter your credit card information to secure an appointment.  This limits you Flaky McFlakerson's from dipping out on scheduled appointments.  Prior to my appointment, I received a reminder text.  Nice! All right now, the real deal Holyfield, the service.....I decided to try the basic pedicure, with a gel mani and designs.  The pedicure was great, Nakia takes her time, as you chillax to soft music in the background.  The mani was the same way.  Nakia is so easy to talk to and you can tell that she loves what she does.  I learned so much about nail and skin care while I was there.  Ok, my favorite part...the. color.  Chilllllllleeee!  I say to her, these are the colors that I'm thinking, and BAM! a creation ensues.  What I received is what she called "rainbow sherbert."  Now, every time I look at my nails I smile...they seriously make me happy.  This may not be a big deal to you, but you see I'm a picker. I pick at my nails, and as a result my manis don't last as long.  I haven't picked ONCE because she completed an awesome service, and the artistry is just amazing.  I even brought gloves to wash the dishes...ha!!I've received so many compliments, and I just love the added attention.  #heybooThere is no question that I'll be returning, and next time I'll get more services!
