WORST PLACE EVER!!!!! WOULDN’T RECOMMEND!!!!
I was at Kims early today which is where I always go. Today has been the worst experience EVER. I felt that she kept saying nasty things about my feet. When I got my manicure she cut my nails VERY short. Normally they ask me if I went them cut but no today she just went ahead and cut them. My nails were the longest they have ever been but now they are the shortest. I always ask for gift cards there but never again will I ask for them. I will ask for the money back on the ones I have. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with today performance. The only reason I really come here is because they are cheap, easy, and quick. I have been waiting all day to come here and they just ruined my day. My nails hurt from how short they are and she kept telling me they were to long. I am sitting here crying because my nails hurt and I can barely type. I want my money back but from the reviews I read seems like that won’t be happening. Also whatever lotion they use left my legs all sticky. Also they got lotion on my apple apple watch band and it won’t come off. My polish has already started to come off. I could go on for days on how bad they were!!!!
btw can I add that it took me 3 MONTHS to grow out my nails and she just snipped them away!!!!!

0 stars should be an option. I was in the area and needed to get my nails done. I usually go someplace else, but Kim's Nail and Spa was just convenient. I walked in and told the receptionist that I needed a fill-in and one of my nails redone. I should've walked out the minute I knew she had no idea what a fill-in was. I picked out my color and was seated with a nail-tech that seemed to know what she was doing. I told her I wanted to keep the length, but emphasize the "coffin" shape more and about my nail I wanted redone. No doubt there was a language barrier, but the effort of TRYING to understand what I requested would have been nice. In addition to lack of effort, she put headphones on. Rude and unprofessional. She proceeded to cut my nails more than half way down and I guess attempt??? to do a coffin shape. I left with my nails short and uneven and all different shapes. It was hideous. I couldn't go about the rest of my day with how she did my nails. I didn't wait to let my nails dry. I should have refused to pay but I'm never the one to cause a scene. I payed my dues (didn't tip) and left to go to my usual place and have my nails fixed.
I will never do business here again.

Kim, the owner, runs a terrific shop. She calls everyone by name when they walk in and makes you feel comfortable immediately. Technicians are very good.

Terrible service! Good greeting at the front, but lady that started to do my nails had a nasty comment because they were long. Had never been there before and as she started I simply got up and walked out. Will never visit again. Sometimes these places act like they are the only ones in business and there are 3 nail salons in every street. Lol sad

My nails look fine but I am only awarding 1 star because of the HORRIBLE customer service I experienced yesterday while taking my 5 year old niece for a mani pedi with me. We had a 45 min wait which isn't atypical for a Friday afternoon, but they seemed to be taking people in without regard to who came first. It was a mess but that's not relevant to the issues. My 5 year old niece and I had pedicures next to each other and her technician was nice. My technician was texting and playing with her phone IN THE MIDDLE OF MY PEDICURE!!!! That is ALWAYS unacceptable. Then, when my niece smudged her two thumb polishes, I asked my technician to fix them for her, as her technician was on another customer already. First, my technician tried to say she shouldn't have gone to the bathroom, that's why she smudged them. Well I'm not in the habit of refusing children bathroom breaks but apparently she is! Then, to my complete audacity, the technician walked up to my niece and while painting her TWO nails again, she told my niece "Dont mess them up again, I don't have time to fix them." That was completely uncalled for and prejudiced. I will never be returning here.

I wouldn't recommend this nail salon. We had appointments for the bridal party and they rushed everyone and and wouldn't answer any questions. When we asked to have a matching color for gel to do our pedicures they ignored the request and told us to pick a color. My nails have paint on my cuticles and have streaks. They weren't busy, but you would have thought they had a line by the way they were rushing us in and out.

It's very clean, great friendly service and it's fast. I have been both during the week and during the busy times on the weekends without an appointment and have never had to wait.

LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!I went hear the day before my trip to Jamaica. What a mistake! I got a full set and gel polish. She repeatedly nicked my cuticles. She was busy talking to another manicurist and checking her iPhone. The next day my cuticles were red, swollen, and sore...yes they were infected. The resort doctor gave me an antibiotic ointment, but cautioned me not to swim...bacteria from the water might make it a lot worse. I never returned to Kim's!Observations:Kim sits in the corner gossiping with the regulars. The manicurists at Kim's have very little knowledge of what's new in nails. Once, I was charged $5.00 to take off gel polish on a different visit. The environment isn't very welcoming (for some). I always felt rushed even with an appointment, especially if a large party was scheduled. The polish isn't applied neatly and the shaping of the nails is dated. I had issues with peeling, chipping, and I think the polishes are old. This place looks nice, but the quality is subpar!

This was by far the worst nail experience I've ever had! After saying I wanted fake nails and designs. Me and a friend sat down to get our nails done and end up with nail polish that started mid nail. When my friend asked for a design she was told she didn't need one with her color. Finished within 5 mins chipped within 2 minutes of leaving. I can paint my own nails better. I didn't even get the fake nails I asked for. Never going back there.

I went here with a bridal party before a wedding and the staff was extremely friendly and allowed up to bring champagne. We are also not a very quiet bunch when we are all together, so they were wonderful for dealing with us.I was very disappointed in the quality of the gel nail polish. I got the usual OPI gel polish that I like and it looked great...until three days later. It has already started to chip on three nails and is discoloring a bit. I have never had this happen before and have gotten gel dozens of times. I even sent a message to the other girls in the bridal party and several of them were experiencing the same thing! I will not be returning to Kim's to get a gel manicure.

We won't be coming back. We used to come regularly but the last time we came, Kim said she would rather do my friends nails than mine because she liked her better. We were both really taken back from that comment because we didn't know why Kin would say that. I think it was meant as a joke, but seeing as I was treating us both to gel manicures and pedicures and was spending over $120, I didn't think it was funny or nice. It made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. There are many, many nail salons in the area and if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I want it to go to a salon with kind, welcoming business owners.

My mother-in-law took my 13 year old daughter to get a manicure and pedicure while she was visiting from out of town. $60 dollars (not including tips) later, my mother-in-law finally got home and complained to us about her bad experience. About an hour later my daughter said the entire top layer of polish on her toes just slid off. We called Kim's and they said no problem they would repaint them. The next day my mother-in-law took her $60 receipt back to Kim's. My daughter picked out new polish. After they fixed their mistake they proceeded to charge my mother-in-law another $9 dollars! We complained and Kim said if she had chosen the same polish (which was old) she wouldn't have charged us. She did not make that clear to my daughter. My family has been coming in for over 10 years for waxing, pedicures and manicures. I gave Kim the opportunity to repay the $9 or we will take our business elsewhere. She chose to keep the $9! Our family will not spend another dime there!

I just moved to the area and was looking for a place to get my nails done and eyebrows waxed for a decent price. Kim's is awesome! Very clean and nice inside, we went on a Saturday early afternoon and it was crowded which I always take as a good sign, but we did not have to wait at all. My mom and I both got regular mani pedi's and I got my eyebrows done. I had Linda, she was so awesome, very fast but did not rush at all. My eyebrows look great and the prices are awesome. It was $44 for a mani, pedi with eyebrow wax, and about $35 or so for a mani pedi. We will definitely be back!!

I've lived in Perry Hall for most of my life and this is, hands down, the best Nail Salon in the area. Kim are and her staff are friendly and efficient. You will always feel welcomed and they do their best to keep people from having to wait too long. The location is great and the Spa itself is very clean and comfortable. I've been here for ever dance, prom, wedding, special event, and even for a random pedicure before summer vacation and I've never had a bad experience. Reasonable prices but since it is such good quality, it can get a little pricey depending on what you get done. I can usually walk out with a mani/pedi for $35.

Went here on a whim with my cousin over the weekend and we were glad that they were able to fit us in last minute as a walk-in. The nail place itself is clean and organized with a lot of stations, but nothing spectacular. The nail tech I saw was quick and did a great job on my nails, but it definitely felt rushed. I got the basic spa manicure and requested French. Again, she was quick and efficient but towards the end I felt pretty rushed because someone told her that her next appointment had shown up early. For $18, it was decent service and I can't complain, but when I noticed that she had missed a tiny white spot on my nail, I came back and asked if she could touch it up real quick - she almost seemed upset/irked that I interrupted her with her client... even though I apologized and complimented her work. Oh well. There wasn't really a hand massage either - very skimped, compared to other places and well the next day, my pretty french mani started chipping. I mean, not just one nail, but a good 3-4 of them had lost their white tips in less than 24 hours. My cousin had hers done as well and hers are still looking good. I'm pretty disappointed.

Best nail salon I have every been too! And believe me I've tried a lot of them! The salon is very clean and they always open clean tools right in front of you! Lots of techs working so hardly any wait time! Very friendly, great prices and great work! Pedicures are amazing :) one of the only places I'll go to! And to comment on other reviews the callus remover the the razor like tool is actually a state board violation so they are following it by not using them! Just fyi! My feet are just as soft and even feel better than with that! (I'm a licensed cosmetologist so I know this). Would defiantly recommend!

I was at Kims early today which is where I always go. Today has been the worst experience EVER. I felt that she kept saying nasty things about my feet. I decided to check this place out over the spring when I first moved to the area. They are so great and I got lucky finding a good nail place on my first try. It's very clean, great friendly service and it's fast. I have been both during the week and during the busy times on the weekends without an appointment and have never had to wait.

LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!I went hear the day before my trip to Jamaica. What a mistake! I got a full set and gel polish. She repeatedly nicked my cuticles. She was busy talking to another manicurist and checking her iPhone. The next day my cuticles were red, swollen, and sore...yes they were infected. The resort doctor gave me an antibiotic ointment, but cautioned me not to swim...bacteria from the water might make it a lot worse. I never returned to Kim's!Observations:Kim sits in the corner gossiping with the regulars. The manicurists at Kim's have very little knowledge of what's new in nails. Once, I was charged $5.00 to take off gel polish on a different visit. The environment isn't very welcoming (for some). I always felt rushed even with an appointment, especially if a large party was scheduled. The polish isn't applied neatly and the shaping of the nails is dated. I had issues with peeling, chipping, and I think the polishes are old. This place looks nice, but the quality is subpar!

This was by far the worst nail experience I've ever had! After saying I wanted fake nails and designs. Me and a friend sat down to get our nails done and end up with nail polish that started mid nail. When my friend asked for a design she was told she didn't need one with her color. Finished within 5 mins chipped within 2 minutes of leaving. I can paint my own nails better. I didn't even get the fake nails I asked for. Never going back there.

I went here with a bridal party before a wedding and the staff was extremely friendly and allowed up to bring champagne. We are also not a very quiet bunch when we are all together, so they were wonderful for dealing with us.I was very disappointed in the quality of the gel nail polish. I got the usual OPI gel polish that I like and it looked great...until three days later. It has already started to chip on three nails and is discoloring a bit. I have never had this happen before and have gotten gel dozens of times. I even sent a message to the other girls in the bridal party and several of them were experiencing the same thing! I will not be returning to Kim's to get a gel manicure.

We won't be coming back. We used to come regularly but the last time we came, Kim said she would rather do my friends nails than mine because she liked her better. We were both really taken back from that comment because we didn't know why Kin would say that. I think it was meant as a joke, but seeing as I was treating us both to gel manicures and pedicures and was spending over $120, I didn't think it was funny or nice. It made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. There are many, many nail salons in the area and if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I want it to go to a salon with kind, welcoming business owners.

My mother-in-law took my 13 year old daughter to get a manicure and pedicure while she was visiting from out of town. $60 dollars (not including tips) later, my mother-in-law finally got home and complained to us about her bad experience. About an hour later my daughter said the entire top layer of polish on her toes just slid off. We called Kim's and they said no problem they would repaint them. The next day my mother-in-law took her $60 receipt back to Kim's. My daughter picked out new polish. After they fixed their mistake they proceeded to charge my mother-in-law another $9 dollars! We complained and Kim said if she had chosen the same polish (which was old) she wouldn't have charged us. She did not make that clear to my daughter. My family has been coming in for over 10 years for waxing, pedicures and manicures. I gave Kim the opportunity to repay the $9 or we will take our business elsewhere. She chose to keep the $9! Our family will not spend another dime there!

I just moved to the area and was looking for a place to get my nails done and eyebrows waxed for a decent price. Kim's is awesome! Very clean and nice inside, we went on a Saturday early afternoon and it was crowded which I always take as a good sign, but we did not have to wait at all. My mom and I both got regular mani pedi's and I got my eyebrows done. I had Linda, she was so awesome, very fast but did not rush at all. My eyebrows look great and the prices are awesome. It was $44 for a mani, pedi with eyebrow wax, and about $35 or so for a mani pedi. We will definitely be back!!

Ask for Kim and you'll get someone who's quick and efficient. She'll make sure you like what you have and it'll last for weeks- I'm a fitness instructor so I'm rough with my nails!

I've lived in Perry Hall for most of my life and this is, hands down, the best Nail Salon in the area. Kim are and her staff are friendly and efficient. You will always feel welcomed and they do their best to keep people from having to wait too long. The location is great and the Spa itself is very clean and comfortable. I've been here for ever dance, prom, wedding, special event, and even for a random pedicure before summer vacation and I've never had a bad experience. Reasonable prices but since it is such good quality, it can get a little pricey depending on what you get done. I can usually walk out with a mani/pedi for $35.

Went here on a whim with my cousin over the weekend and we were glad that they were able to fit us in last minute as a walk-in. The nail place itself is clean and organized with a lot of stations, but nothing spectacular. The nail tech I saw was quick and did a great job on my nails, but it definitely felt rushed. I got the basic spa manicure and requested French. Again, she was quick and efficient but towards the end I felt pretty rushed because someone told her that her next appointment had shown up early. For $18, it was decent service and I can't complain, but when I noticed that she had missed a tiny white spot on my nail, I came back and asked if she could touch it up real quick - she almost seemed upset/irked that I interrupted her with her client... even though I apologized and complimented her work. Oh well. There wasn't really a hand massage either - very skimped, compared to other places and well the next day, my pretty french mani started chipping. I mean, not just one nail, but a good 3-4 of them had lost their white tips in less than 24 hours. My cousin had hers done as well and hers are still looking good. I'm pretty disappointed.

Best nail salon I have every been too! And believe me I've tried a lot of them! The salon is very clean and they always open clean tools right in front of you! Lots of techs working so hardly any wait time! Very friendly, great prices and great work! Pedicures are amazing :) one of the only places I'll go to! And to comment on other reviews the callus remover the the razor like tool is actually a state board violation so they are following it by not using them! Just fyi! My feet are just as soft and even feel better than with that! (I'm a licensed cosmetologist so I know this). Would defiantly recommend!

The "hand massage" was simply the nail tech rubbing the lotion on my hands. 3. I wanted clear polish on my fingernails and it started peeling around the edges of my nails shortly after I left :-(4. I also found the cleanliness of their pedicure tools questionable...

They also talk about customers and the customer is oblivious since they don't speak their language. Only a few of the techs are friendly.
