I came to Kimly Nails on the recommendation from my niece, Shawnell Owens. I decided to go with the avalash once I got there (my niece had the $25 lashes, which I should have got). I had them in for about 2 weeks with very little discomfort. I went back to see if I needed a fill in, Susan said I did. Later that night and the next day my right eye started turning red. I went back to Susan the next day to see if she had left something in my eye. She looked at it and did something and they felt slightly better. I asked her how much for removal, she indicated $5 dollars. I told her i was going to a wedding that night and if they did not feel ok I was coming in for removal the next day. I went in for removal. She put something on my eyes in which I had to keep my eyes closed well over an hour, she put warm compressors on both eyes, and removed the lashes. I don't know what it was, the lash glue, removal solution,, or both, but both my eyes turned blood shot red, the right eye was swollen, blurred vision, and I had bags under both eyes. I had to go to the doctor to ensure I did not have an infection. I did not. I missed 4 days of work. I am currently using two types of drops to get my eyes back to normal and have to follow up with the doctor next week. Susan was very nice and did not charge me for the last 3 times I had to go back to her. This review is to let those thinking about getting the avalash is that a stronger glue is used that might affect the outcome. I spoke with one customer that previously had the avalash, & another customer that had them in, but had come in for a fill-in. They both had positive results, so I felt comfortable, but all eyes are different. Yes, it cost me, but I am on the road to recovery. Read Less
