I went in for a fill yesterday and the guy wanted me to soak off and get a new set I explained I didn't have time. Then when I asked him to thin the one of my fingers and he had an attitude about that. So I get my nails done and he cuts them down and I had 2broken ones.he says I won't charge you for the cut down then Nikki tells him he should of charged me so I leave a $3 tip and he's pissed and says go sit down and dry your nails he never turns the fan on so I left. Lily is the ONLY person i go to. She has a great attitude and is very helpful with choosing colors/designs. She has a great personality. And her quality of work is amazing. Best in town, hands down. Staff is friendly and they have reasonable pricing. I got a full set done and they have lasted well over 3 wks. Used a gel color and despite washing dishes and cleaning my house without gloves, they are still super shiny and the polish had not chipped at all. They were also very quick. Love them. Read Less

I went in one day while I was waiting for my ride- Lily was very nice and super friendly. She was very animated when helping me choose my gel polish for my full set. We chatted while she did my nails and she did my almond shape pretty well. Only reason it's 4 stars is I did notice she nipped me on one finger but nothing too bad. I didn't read the comments on here beforehand instead I relied on the Google reviewers and mostly all the more recent ones raved about this establishment. For the price and the outcome of my pedicure it was ok. I also received eyebrow wax and for the first time I actually tried eye lash extensions. I know--WHY would I do that EVER especially here. But, yup I did. And they looked...well, fake. You get what you pay for. Less than 48 hours and I've removed them. They just looked unnatural and honestly horrendous. I'm certain there are more qualified lash techs who actually do extensions but this place was obviously lacking one. (and I was lacking better judgment at the time) My pedicure experience was ok. The tech rushed and forgot to complete my request of flower designs on my toes. I have had much better service and quality of work elsewhere.My eyebrows turned out great, probably the only thing about my whole experience that turned out positive.I did watch for cleanliness of tools and tech washing their hands before and after procedure. That was something I'm always attentive to when going to the nail salon. I didn't notice any issues as the previous yelpers posted (but their posts were old for a few years ago so issue probably now rectified?) Overall in my opinion this was ok. They open 7 days at 9am so that could be one appealing thing to customers. But for the amount of money we spend on ourselves I would really recommend going elsewhere for better quality and service. I went to Nails Today for a face wax. My wax tech MiMi (sp?) ended up burning my chin. I returned the next day to show her the damage. She gave me Neosporin for the burn but didn't offer anything else. I then asked if I could get some type of compensation for it. She decided to refund $10 of my $30 service. I now have to use Mederma on the scars and pray they will eventually fade away. Read Less

Gross! Filthy! Unsanitary! Outdated! Rude! My technition spoke only one word to me which was "no".  They charge you an extra dollar per ten dollars if you use a card. They expect you to carry a cash tip, and if you don't have it they tell you to go get one, HA! Read Less

they are unsanitary...i had to tell the nail tech to get the tools that had been soaking instead of using tools she'd just used on another client smh i should have just left... got a gel manicure...both nail techs had attitudes...i had to tell the last tech to file my nails for the THIRD time because they were crooked, and all corners were not rounded (BUT JAGGED SHARP)...I RETURNED the VERY NEXT DAY because my GEL MANI had begin to chip and the design literally began to rub off...the tech had an attitude about this and asked what i expected her to do...i replied "your job"...she took the polish off, and reapplied...its only been 5 days...and look at this chipped mess smh NEVER AGAIN WILL I PROVIDE MY $$$ for crappy service! So this is like my third time coming here and I'm certain that I won't be returning. First of all, I'm not sure what they do to their files but today I was cut for the second time (on my nail). I never noticed that this place was so dirty until I got my pedicure today. The lady did an excellent job but it's not worth risking getting some sort of infection from the lack of cleanliness. The woman had a hard time understanding what I wanted but that was not a big deal,  we eventually figured it out. Now the lady that did my nails was another story. She clearly got got an attitude when I asked her to file my nails in a different shape. I thought that was the purpose of paying for a service....to get what you want! Not clean, you can have less services done and be charged more. They don't speak enough English and I have no problem with that, but if you want to charge me $40 you need to understand what I want and carry that out properly, so this salon is off the list of places for me to go while near Fort Meade. I am in a love/hate relationship with this salon. First, the hate: the place is borderline unsanitary. Everything is old. They only carry off brand polishes. It's kind of in a shady part of town. The love: They give really good, inexpensive pedicures. I am not an "every two weeks" pedi type girl (I sit in an office all day and can't see a way my toes would ever get messed up...plus, I'm not super athletic anymore so calluses are virtually non-existent). I last came here a month ago and my feet still look as good as they did the day I left. There is not one chip of polish on any of my toes and my heels are still soft.  I frequent other higher end salons that offer all the bells and whistles but honestly, these guys do it better. I will admit that I refuse to get my nails done here (I've seen the pics and they don't look good) , but for pedis, this place is great. They only offer 4 variations and they range from 22-45 dollars depending on the one you choose. I will continue to come here for my toes only unless it gets any more shady then it is. Read Less

this place was okay but I have two major issues. The first one is I asked the lady for a pedicure....a basic pedicure and a full gel set. The menu board said that the gel set was $30 and a pedicure was $22. When I got to the counter she said that it would be $60. She could not explain to me the extra amount of money that was charged to my card. I started not to give her a tip but I thought that I will be the bigger person and do it. The other issue was my nails are crooked on two fingers and when I asked her to fix them she said that she could not do it because it was already done and set and my nails were too short to file down anymore. Maybe I'm spoiled, maybe I'm used to nice things or maybe I just like clean.. Whatever the case may be I don't think I'll be returning to this establishment. I'll start with the good: -I was greeted right away and taken back to a pedicure chair-The lady that waited on me was very personable and didn't try to up sell me on services -They had a good variety of colors to choose from for my pedicure So for the reason I only gave the place three stars which was being generous! -They didn't use fresh tools, I actually changed the pedicure I was getting when I noticed that-The towels she used appeared to be dirty-When was the last time they swept!? -The exchange for paying was a little weird.. -They don't take tips on your card but I don't remember seeing that anywhere so it was weird when I realized because I never carry cashOverall I wouldn't throw myself in front of friends cars if they mentioned going there but there are better more sanitary places in the area..
