I am really not sure how this place has any bad reviews. I have been getting pedicures for over 20 years and this was the best place I have been! Everyone was really friendly there and they seem to have many return clients. To each their own and everyone has a bad experience with some place or another but I am super picky with pedicures and this one lasted an hour and a half non stop! Yeah I did get the deluxe and was nervous because they were a little busy but the guy was really cool and down to earth. I absolutely love this place. I get my nails Done every 3 weeks and I’ve been to multiple nail salons but this is my favorite! I’ve been going to them for almost two years now. I’ve moved twice and I continue to drive because I’m so happy with their service. I went for a pedicure which was $20 and they wanted to charge me $40 like that’s not okay. I got regular polish and made them charge me $20 and when I said have a good day the lady gave me dirty looks and she also bumped into me several times and I don’t think it was on accident. They were rude. Absolutely rude and over priced. They also made me get out of the chair and stand while I waited for my friends nails to be finished. Read Less

First of all I was referred by several people to Pinkys after hearing all the rave reviews I decided to give them a shot.The owners are very friendly and do excellent work! I’ve never had a nail break and I’ve been going there about a year also I like to get many designs and they are very good at working with you and doing great work with much detail I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good nail salon. The staff stays the same so you know what your getting every time. I Don’t see how anyone could post anything negative about this place unless they are just those type of people who try to find the negative in anything and if nothing is found it is simply made up! Pinky's is great for pedicures, the technicians are great (especially Jen & Chase) and they are reasonably priced.   My review is based on my experience with acrylic nails as well as the payment methods.    If you go for a nail fill only, and not for a pedicure, be prepared to wait, because only two techs, the owners, work with acrylics.   If you go for a pedicure and a nail fill, you have a chance of getting your nails done in a reasonable amount of time, because they'll try to time your nails for the completion of your pedicure, well, sometimes.  They really need to keep track of the customers who arrive and what they are there for, because I've witnessed people being service out of order and once they start working on someone you're then waiting 30-40 minutes additional for that person to get done before you have a chance to get in line for your nails, all because there are not enough acrylic nail techs. The other annoying aspect of Pinky's is the payment, every single time I'd pay, I would be asked for cash.   Usually I use a single card to pay for everything I do, and just pay that off each month.   At Pinky's, where they accept Visa and MasterCard, if you try to use a card to pay, you get questioned about why you aren't paying in cash, and asked to pay in cash instead.  it was darn near harassing some visits, being questioned about cash payment.    Yes, she'd look in my purse and wallet to see if I had cash, it was intrusive.    I don't keep much cash on me anymore, but to avoid the harassing questioning each visit I began making sure I had enough cash so it wasn't an ordeal each time.   Seriously that needs to change, if you accept credit cards, accept credit cards.  I get tips are cash, but if you accept payment for services, don't harass your customers for cash.    I hope Pinky's improves. I am so disappointed in the service the new owners of pinkys have made and allowed to happen. Completely disregard any positive review as they were probably for the previous owners. My 2 friends and I were going out for a girls night and I decided to get my nails done and my friend her toes and the other one nothing. After realizing I wasn't even gonna get started on my nails until my friend was done I decided it wasn't worth making them wait on me and said I wouldn't be getting them done anymore. The lady was so rude and told me to get away from my friend and go sit in a chair and wait. (Also it's 81 degrees in there no joke I was sweating my head off). When my friend was done and her toes were drying she asked me to go pay as I walked up to pay for her the rude lady came flying up, ripped the card out of my hand swiped it and walked straight past me back to my other two friends. One was reading a magazine she proceeded to rip the magazine out of her hand (even though there was a huge stack right next to her) and had my other friend sign on the magazine then the lady took the magazine and put it away not giving it back to my friend or saying anything. By then i was fed up and went to the owner. I started to tell her about the negative service we were receiving then the rude lady came flying up to say her side and the owner SHUSHED me to tell me to listen to her workers side the worker then said that it's hard to sign on the table that's why she took the magazine. I then asked her why she was so rude and said nothing explained nothing or didn't just grab another one and she had no response. The owner said nothing but oh sorry. And by then I was fed up and left. The atmosphere used to be amazing at pinky they remembered you and loved you and spent the entire time talking to you and making you feel valued. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN! If I could give a no star rating I DEFINITELY would. Normally just stick to one salon, but on this particular day I was running late, so I decided to stop in. I was getting a fill & asked how much would it be to get ONE of my nails completely covered in diamonds. The guy asked a lady & she said $20. I said, "No not on all of my nails just one." She says, "Yea it's $20." The guy looks at me & says, "Yea it's a little expensive." I told him I can go to my regular salon & get it done for $5. So, I just got a basic color. On the second visit it was me & my 5 friends. We walked in & I asked how much for a liquid gel fill. The lady says, "$45." Really? You want me to pay $45 for a fill? I showed & told her I have a full set of liquid gel on, w/coffin shape & a design that cost me $45, so why would I pay that much for a fill? I said I'll probably go back to the other place. She says, "Ok, go. Can I help you?" Referring to the people behind me. I told her no b/c all the ppl behind me were w/me & they're leaving w/me! She didn't say anything. I will never go here again the lady that owns the place rolled me off so bad I was getting a full set which is $25. I wanted black matte. She said it was an extra $5 to file my nails and a extra $5 for a matte top coat. She told me the total would be $40 dollars which doesn't make sense it should of been $35 and she told me to pay before she even did my nails. Then she did a bad job on them but I hate complaining so that was my fault. So after my friend asked me how much they were I said 40 she said why? I said that the lady said extra $5 to file and extra $5 for top coat she said I've never been charged that for those things here you got ripped off. This was my first ever time going to a nail salon of any sort. I had no idea what to expect. I was shaking in my boots. It's been over a week and I'm still more than satisfied with my acrylic nails. The polish has barely chipped (especially considering how hard I am on my nails) and the shape is beautiful. The salon was a bit crowded but otherwise beautiful. I don't doubt that the staff is really friendly, but i was so nervous I could barely speak so nothing went as smooth as it probably should. Now that I have some understanding of what a nail salon is like I am confident and excited in my next visit. The entire time I was receiving my pedi/mani, I was excited to write a 5 star review. Now I'm just legit scared to go back. The technician was wonderful -- went above and beyond. Sure, the wait was an hour ... but I can't really complain about that. However, when I paid, an older woman (perhaps the owner?) LOOKED IN MY WALLET, saw that I had cash and demanded that I give it to her instead of paying $50 with my card. Of course, I left a generous cash tip due to the fantastic service. I was seriously scared that she might reach over and take my cash. Who does that?? Classless, ignorant, and downright rude.I sincerely hope that the salon reads this and stops these practices. This place was very disappointing. The doors were wide open and flies were everywhere. That should have been my first sign, but having had several people recommend this place, I decided to stay.  While the massage I received was great, the pedicure was less than mediocre.  When I tried to pay and leave a tip with my credit card, I was told that I couldn't leave a tip on the credit card.  I did not have any cash, so the attendant kindly pointed me to a WaWa down the road.  She also asked that I get enough cash for the entire service.  Really???Once I got out into the sunlight, I could see that red nail polish was all over the skin around my toes and several of my toes were cut too short and were uneven.  Terrible experience. I have been to Pinkys twice. Both times I got a fantastic spa pedicure, and this time I also got a French shellac manicure. The staff is super friendly, and very good at what they do. I brought my daughter yesterday, and we both had very attentive staff, and the jobs were done well. I drive down from Oxford, because the value is so worth it! Nothing better than flexible, friendly, attentive service at a great price!  I've paid a lot more and not been as happy. We will continue to travel to Pinkys. It's a gem of a nail salon. Read Less

My nails looked gorgeous, and so did my toes...until I left the building.Now, I noticed I had bumped my big toe and it smudged. My fault all the way. By the end of the night, my other toes were fine, and I assumed the worst was behind me.The next day, which was my WEDDING day, I noticed one of my nails had chipped. Let's backtrack a bit. I spent $55 on a mani/pedi with gel coat for the fingernails. Gel coat is supposed to last, bare minimum, two weeks. My friend gets hers done with gel all the time and it usually lasts her 3-4 weeks. Was I doing the dishes, doing chores, doing some kind of activity that would result in my nails chipping? NO. I slept. Other people did my hair. I noticed the chip when I was doing my makeup. Even, then, totally forgiveable. But when I took off my shoes at the end of the night, I noticed every. single. toenail was ruined. All of the nails had the polish all folded and squished and awful looking, a full 24 hrs after they were done. (I didn't put on the shoes until at least 2, and I got them done the day before at 1:30). The next day, another finger nail started to chip. By Wednesday, all of my left hand had pieces of the gel coming off. By Monday, a little over a week later, I had to take them all off.  A complete waste of money. I think the woman did something to my nails when I told her I didn't want to get the "extra special" pedicure after telling her it was for my wedding. She also gave me a judgemental look when I initially told her I didn't want frech tips: I had wanted pale purple on my nails, with darker purple on my toes. She actually guilted me into french tips.
