I discovered this nails spa by accident and I'm glad I did. The shop is really clean. I've been to a dozen of nails salons over the years and this shop has to be one of the cleanest shop. The massage that I received for my pedicure was exceptional long (and felt so good) compared to other pedicures that I've got. I consider myself to be pretty picky and Anna did a great job with my gel manicure and pedicure. Really happy here. Definitely will be back routinely. Read Less

I have been using this salon for about a year. I have been to all of the people who work here and they have always done a great job. The salon is VERY clean and beautiful. I love that there is no TV on, like so many other nail places have. You can relax here, they never rush you out. I highly recommend trying them out. The prices are good too. Read Less

This was my first time here and I loved it.  Kimmy does an excellent job.  I am very picky and have tried a lot of places in Frederick and Mount Airy by far she is the best!  The salon is also very clean and they have amazing pedicure chairs. I will definitely be a regular. Read Less

I really wanted to like this place. I've heard from numerous sources how great they were and they have great reviews. I have been looking for a new location to get my nails done. I made an appointment long in advance. When we arrived we were told it would be a minute. Ok, no big deal, I am fine with waiting during a transition. 25 minutes later we were finally seen. Our nail tech seemed to take too many walk ins and apologized for the "scheduling confusion." I do try and give people the benefit of the doubt, because maybe there was a miscommunication. But we ended up feeling rushed the whole time. Today my cuticles are so sore and swollen and I am very worried about an infection. The polish job on my nails looks like something I could do at home. Honestly, I can look past the bad polish job aspect. I took my daughter here for a girls day experience before her first day of school. That was the point of the trip. But we felt rushed after making an appointment and I ended up with very sore fingers the next day. Luckily my daughters nails look beautiful and clean. They were very great and kind with her. Hands down the best salon in Mount Airy. The staff here is uber friendly and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. I've had over 20 pedicures here and I've never felt rushed or unsatisfied once. The pedicure chairs are wonderful and, best of all, the chairs do not violently shake you. The pedicure itself is well worth the money. The nail technicians are very attentive and do quality work. The pedicure itself lasts at least 2 weeks without chipping. My favorite part is the leg massages- you get one during the scrub and one during the lotion. I may have dozed off once or twice during said massages because they are o so relaxing.All in all, my favorite salon in the area. Quality services for an affordable price. Read Less

At first they were great. I was a loyal cucustomer. When they are busy they take short cuts. Malkin customers, if they can fit them in take preference. I have had a few sloppy manicures and pedicures. At first i thought maybe the person was new. The last time I went there they were very busy. I didn't see them clean the pedicure tub or take out new instruments,but trusted they had. I got a nail infection on all fingers and toes for the first time from any salon. I feel badly, but I can't go there again. A salon has to be consistent in service, and cleanliness. They are not. Besides now I have mail infections to deal with. Don't risk it. Read Less

Great salon. Very clean, friendly, sensitive to clients wishes. Pricing is competitive with local salons but the service was exceptional. Very relaxing individualized service.  Timely to premade appointments as well as accommodating to walk-ins. I will defiantly be returning for my gel nail /manicure treatments and pedicures! Best salon in Mt. Airy in my opinion, Very calming decor and atmosphere, peaceful music, not a lot of chatter going on, staff is very attentive and will offer you beverages, very clean - they sterilize all their equipment and take them out of sterilebags in front of you, the equipment is all newer and very nice, the pedicure chairs are incredible - the massage feature is amazing, pedicure options are great and pedicures are incredibly relaxing, you really feel pampered here, prices are affordable, one gel application on my nails turned out a little better than a previous one, they do not accept cash tips or American Express, if you pay in cash they'll give you a ticket where you will eventually earn a free treatment, also do brows and facials and massages. A gel manicure here is $5 more than where I usually go however, it is fairly close to home and they do a great job. I was able to walk-in and was taken immediately. They have a great variety of choices. The atmosphere is Spa-like. As usual they do try to up sale you but, back down after you say what you want and no add-ons. Read Less

This is the nicest nail salon, or spa I should say, in Mount Airy that I have been to.The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. As a newer salon all the equipment is new and clean. The pedicurists/manicurists don't rush and do a good job. I get pedicures to relax and I can definitely say I feel relaxed here. My pedicure included 2 massages...one with a scrub and another with a lotion. I like that they keep a hot towel on your legs while painting your nails. My pedicure was done very thoroughly. The price is good and they even have a kids pedicure chair! I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to join me! They even offer you a drink when you get there. One last thing...when I visited the day before Mother's Day they were giving out a little baggie with a bottle of OPI polish to all the mothers! Read Less
