This place is really great.  It's the best nail place in the Montgomery Village area.  Highly recommend.  The nail technicians are so sweet and kind, and really try to make you feel comfortable. I LOVE IT HERE! Try it for yourself and you be the judge. I saw the other reviews but my experience with Beautiful Nails is the complete opposite. This salon takes me back the way salons used to be, back in the 90's and early 2000. Back then salons in the area are probably 3 or 4 max. Service and craftsmanship was what they were known for and each salon has a special niche about them. Now a days, nail techs rush their work so they can jump to another client. Today, nail salons charge an exuberant rate for all the "extras" you get and don't need! The QUANTITY of people they can service in a day has become more important than the QUALITY of work done. Tania is my favorite nail tech in this salon. Tania is "old school". She cares about her craft and takes pride in her work. Unlike, most technicians in other locale, Tania takes her time and really makes me feel relaxed and pampered. I am very comfortable coming here and will not go anywhere else. It's clean and affordable! I've gone to other techs in this location when Tania is on vacation and they are all very good. I don't need the dim lights, the wine, or the paraffin wax as long as the service and the quality of work exceeds my expectation. I used to go to this salon a long long time ago and stopped going because I found a better place by my job. I went this past summer and did not care for how they did my nails. However my mom enjoys their pedicures and she wanted to go for her birthday so I tagged along because I needed a fill. I shouldn't have went back. She charged me extra for coffin style but she did square on all of them except like 3 nails. The nails that are "coffin" are lopsided and look crooked. I would go back and ask that they redo it but I don't want them touching my nails again. I'll stick to my usual place. Would not go back. They do a below average job. Read Less

This is a really nice place to go to, I always get great pedicures and manicures. Definitely try the spa pedicures, they use great products! Not that cheap ish other places use. I was able to search one of the body butters they used on me and it was $40.00 online so you're definitely getting bang for your buck. Plus they have great specials! Read Less

I got a gel manicure ($30) done by Kelly a few days ago. That's the best price I've seen around this area. Kelly did an awesome job and really took her time. She also was very friendly and didn't speak a different language or make me feel rushed during my visit. She helped me pick a nice neutral color since I am in the military and can't have bright colors. I retuned today for a pedicure and she was pleased to see me again. She greeted me with a smile and remembered me from my last visit. She promptly got her tools ready and offered me an open seat. She's very friendly and I will be returning. I will always ask for her based on the other reviews. I'm happy I found a dependable nail tech that does a beautiful job.  The only downside is that you can't tip on a card here. At least they prefer you not to. Kelly let me on the first visit. So bring cash for the tip. They do accept cards as payment, though. Read Less

Love these ladies. If you want something specific speak up or you won't get it, duh! I was just in when a ratchet woman and her friend wanted to complain after the pedicure was done, and refused to pay. As if she didn't see the end result at the pedicure chair. Smh. The owner removed the polish, refiled, reclipped, and repainted her nails for free and this woman still complained. She wanted an acrylic toenail for her messed up hammer toe and they refused. Hello, you were just in a pedicure bath. You want to lay acrylic on a toenail that's been soaking for 30 minutes. I think some people easily forget that you were provided a service and need to pay. They also seem to forget that these people deserve respect. If you're unhappy they'll make it right. If you're rude, they're only going to take so much until they're rude right back. Its sad that yelpers try to ruin their reputation. If you were happy you're not going online to post it, but if you're mad then of course you are. By far the WORST nail salon I've ever been to in years! Where do I even begin??? They have a poor selection of gel polish and claim they don't carry dark polish for OPI because it's hard to remove.  They've opted for a different brand for dark colors that is really poor quality that easily peels off if you just breathe on it.  I went there to receive a gel mani and pedi with one of my friends.  When I sat in the pedicure chair, the technician didn't even add the acetone/foil to my nails so they would soak while I'm getting my pedi.  She waited until after my pedi which didn't seem efficient to me but ok...I let that slide.  The pedi wasn't good and she wasn't thorough when using the nail cuticle trimmer.  She barely touched them.The worst was getting the gel manicure.  She didn't apply the bond-aid, she didn't allow each coat to dry under the UV light, the polish was wrinkle and she didn't even care.  When I mentioned it, she said she knew they were messed up but didn't even try to fix them.  I was so pissed and just wanted to pay and get out of there.  I get to my car and the entire polish just came off! My friend made me go back and when I went inside the technician had a major attitude (she knew she was wrong).  I requested someone else to fix all of my nails.  She did but later said that it was my fault because I was busy conversing with my friend next to me.  WTF does my conversation have to do with the technician doing her job!?!!?!  It's her job to apply bond-aid, put my hands under the UV light for the appropriate time and doing them neatly.  She shouldn't even be concerned with my conversation!Never ever again! I am very disappointed at this spa! I've been here for the 3rd time and will not return again. The spa is getting more ratchet and the nail tech (owner's sister) has a rude manner. Pedicure was very dissatisfying and  one of the worse I've experienced there. It only took 25 mins with a quick 30 sec massage rub. The towel they use for the pedicure and hot towel are filthy and old! The paint job this time was horrible and once she was done, I asked if I can sit at the pedicure chair longer to dry there and she keeps telling me "no your feet won't dry here" and I understood that but she continues to push me to get off and go to the drying station. I was upset because I wanted to relax at the pedicure chair. There was no customer in the store the whole time I was there so I could've sat at the pedicure chair! Read Less

"V" did my pedicure with callus removal for $26. She was great! Very professional and precise. I am a dancer amongst many other things so the heels of my feet get very dirty looking from the built up dead skin... She removed everything completely and did not sham on any step of my pedicure. She did not try to add on services (which I loved.) The polish looks very neat and beautiful. My feet look renewed and feel rejuvenated. I only came because I was in town for the day, but I may make this home for my pedicures next summer!  Also, there is no way to tip on your CC, so bring cash to treat your nail tech for great service!
