I wish I could give a rating of 0 stars. On my first visit, I received an awful pedicure- my nails were clipped too short, the tech didn't listen or didn't understand me when I explained how I wanted my nails painted, although it was pretty simple. And the polish was either old or he applied it too thickly because even after waiting 4+ hrs to put on shoes, it smudged and was dull. However, my lash extensions looked nice and because the extensions were clusters of 3, it was cheaper than other places. So I kept going to Ivy, the owner and only one who knew how to do them.Ivy was routinely late, typically by 10-15 mins. It was frustrating...but again, she was the only one I knew of in the area that provided the 3-cluster extensions and they can't be mixed with others. But then one day, I called in advance for a fill in before something special- my husband's surprise 30th Birthday party. Ivy convinced me to come later than I was initially comfortable with but she works limited hrs and said it was the only time she had before the party and she PROMISED I would be done in time. I arrived a couple mins before my appt time and before long, Ivy came up front and told me it would be 10 mins before the room was ready... It was not ideal but at first, I was relieved it was only 10 mins. But then I sat for 15 mins before Ivy returned... She told me I could go back to the room but when I got there, there was another customer with a service still in progress. However, the tech working in there said I could come in and lay down on the 2nd bed. I did but Ivy never came in. Eventually, the other service going on was finished but Ivy STILL had not arrived. I checked the time again and saw that it was 25 mins past my appointment time. I got up and looked out to see where Ivy was...she was up front chatting with some other clients. As I walked up, I could hear it was nothing important, just pleasantries. I waited for a gap in the conversation and told Ivy we'd run out of time (I'd now been there for a half hr) and without even an apology, Ivy let me leave. I called hoping Ivy had a business partner I could complain too...but she answered the phone and told me she was the sole owner. Ivy tried to excuse what had happened by saying there was nothing she could do because someone else had been using the room... But for one thing, there were TWO beds and ample space for two services. For 2, when you book an appointment, it is the job of the provider to make sure that they AND the space/materials needed to complete the service are available. EVERY other salon I have visited has had a computer system or appointment calendar to make sure this type of thing doesn't happen. As the owner, Ivy has NO excuse for something this basic not being in place. Thirdly, the other service completed...Ivy was there...half the time she left me there, she was simply socializing in spite of the fact she KNEW she was running late and I had plans to get to.I had to attend my husband's party and see everyone we knew with straggly, old lashes that looked awful. It was worth the time waiting for the remaining extensions to come loose and worth the money to see another provider who offers a higher quality service and far better customer service!!And a side note- Ivy had tried on several occasions to get me to let her take over doing my nails. The reason I never let her was because on one of the first occasions I visited, I listened to TWO different clients complain loudly about how poorly their nails were turning out and Ivy did little to accommodate them. Finally, they have an ATM there and are REALLY pushy about trying to get you to use it (and pay double ATM fees) to pay for your service and tip in cash. Obnoxious!!GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Read Less
