I paid $55 for two feed-in braids from a stylist with lots of tattoos and blue (or gray or purple) hair. The style lasted 3 days before it was fuzzy. It was NOT suited for a child. Furthermore, she posted a pic of my child without my permission. She has old men on her page "liking" my child's pic. I am purposely not mentioning her name bc I have filed a harassment report over this and her posts on social media. Aside from that, she has threated me because of a post I made on my page not even mentioning her name. Although I could visit other stylists this one was reprehensible. She was one of the most deplorable people I have ever met. We work with new service members and this could have worked out nicely for the ones ISO hair care. MeMe will talk to you and teach you how to take better care of your hair at home and she will also help you get your hair back to healthy if need be. God is all over this vision/ ideal i mean from the time that i walked into both bldgs i was greeted with nothing but love, respect and professionalism . It was pure,bliss for me. My stylist ( brandi) was absolutely amazing. I thought because of the rich experience my rate would be way up there but i was so surprised to find out that i could actually afford to come every 2Weeks. I have visited both establishments in Catonsville and Laurel and it was awesome experience. I have to say that from the time you walked through the main door and seeing various suites with different businesses from barbers, hairstylist and manicurist it's one stop shopping. This is a wonderful idea for those who want to run their business without the overhead expenses. I love it. I believe they are black owned and operated. I was referred to a stylist ( jasmine) here because my usual stylist was on vacation. I had never frequented this establishment before, although i have heard about it vaguely. I didn't know what to expect. I was impressed from the moment i walked in the door. The professionalism, creativity, and convenience of everything was amazing. The atmosphere was phenomenal. I have been going to Dontaya at Divine Styles for almost 2 years. Her suite is on the 1st floor. This last time she "trimmed" my hair she butchered it! No apologies or refund. My hair was not damaged and she has cut over 2 inches of my hair. I can't even put it in a ponytail anymore. I am devestated. Of course her business isn't registered. Just awful! Read Less

Suite – 46 – Your Virtuous Beauty Bar – Marquita Pritchard I got my twist done around the end of April. About a week later they were falling out. I paid 180 for twist that didn’t even last a week. I showed her a picture of how small I wanted my Senegalese twist but, she did them the size that she wanted because she had a house warming to go to (I didn’t know how big they were until she was finished). The ends of the hair were so unfinished because she didn’t twist them all th...e way to the end … I guess to cut corners on time. I had to take them out after less then 2-3 weeks of having them in. I thought I was going to have a hard time taking them out but, only took me like 10mins to get my whole head out. I didn’t have to unravel the twist at all they all just slid right now. I can now see why the others were coming out because they weren’t even in there tight. I’m so disappointed. I urge anyone out there to not go to her. You will be ripped off and upset. I feel like I just gave her $180 of my money for nothing! P.S she also used some greasy substance on my hair that has left it feeling like Vaseline is caked to it.
