Cindy is the best! If you go there... Only work with Cindy. I've asked for others in there to do whatever it was that I needed and she has been the only one to take honor in what she does. From eyebrows, to waxing... From nails to pedicures... She is the best one. You will not be disappointed. Nails could have been done much better, as well as my feet! They will change you a up charge for a full set, as far as the length, and it will be the regular length, all to get money out of you! One nail is short , so they ate not even. My nails don't look good at all. I am disappointed in them. They used to be good at one time. They have gone down over the years. NEVER PAY BEFORE THEY FINISH YOUR NAILS . These people are thieves and unprofessional. They give mediocre service. They rush you to pay before they even finish doing your nails. They don't care about doing a decent job on your nails at all. I told the man I wasn't going to pay the normal amount of a full set because it looked like crap. He agreed but still charged me the normal amount. He then lies to the owner and said he didn't agree for me not to pay the original amount.   I later called my bank and they handled it. Since I didn't sign the receipt they had no proof I agreed to the amount (which I didn't in the first place) and I recorded the conversation. So him charging me full price was fraud. In the end I got my money back from the bank. Karma will handle these people. Read Less

If I could give a negative I would. This place is the most unprofessional place. They talk about you in their language the entire time. They are money hungry scavengers. “Dollar more” for everything. The owner Sheri, has a disgusting attitude and is very racist. She is very dishonest with her employees , she is very dishonest. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going to this salon. I will be calling the health department after I post this. She has opened several salons over the years and they always end up closing from the way she treats customers or chases off employees. My sister stated she liked this shop... so I questioned it but tried it against my better judgement. I sat at the second seat on the right side and asked for a manicure. It's a simple process that he failed to follow. He did not greet me, only said 5 words to me... "You want manicure" and "What color"... he failed to clean around my nails after polishing and did not apply location after my nails dried. I tried this nail salon with a friend on a whim. It is in the Laurel Plaza in the corner between the Giant and Harbor Freight. We walked in and asked for two regular pedicures. On the board, the price for a Spa Pedicure is $25. The lady instructed us to pick a color and the directed us to a chair to sit down. She said no more than 5 words the whole time and seemed bothered. The guy working on my friend definitely put more effort in on her feet. There were only about 4 other people in the shop. I asked for a design on my big toe, which she did---I really like the design, though. That was pretty much where my liking of this place began and ended. The nail tech definitely has no personality and does a mediocre pedi....she seemed to be so bothered by even the basics, removing my polish, scrubbing feet, filing nails, etc. I mean, that is part of what a pedicure is, right??!! Anyway, it wasn't a relaxing "spa" experience at all. I paid the $50 for me and my friend. I used the restroom and when I came out, another lady told me I owed another $5 for the design. Keep in mind, I showed her my toes when I went to pay. So it's not my issue that she forgot to charge me for everything. Whatever. I paid the $5 and left knowing that I'll never return. Never. So let me start by saying this place opens on time! I hate when a business says they open at a specific time and you go and they're not open. Anyway, I digress....When I walked in the door I was immediately greeted by both staff and customers. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. I was allowed to walk around, checkout the place and tell them what I would like to have done. I sat next to this woman who stated she had been coming to THIS salon for 25 years...YES, I was shocked too!  The owner is Sherry and she's the only person that this lady allows to do her services. Curious, I asked her about eyebrows since mine were butchered by my faithful lady at my previous salon which is why I left...she was too comfortable and felt she could say and do whatever...again I digress. Andy was the technician who worked with me and he did an amazing job on my hands and feet. Now on to my eyebrows.....When I tell you that Sherry not only fixed my eyebrows...she got my WHOLE life together!!! I got sooo many compliments on my eyebrows before I left the salon and then it was magnified when I went to the store. It had been years since I had been complimented on my eyebrows. Let me post my timeline of disappointment:12/17 I go to the shop to get a gel manicure and eyebrows done for an event that I had to attend on the next day.I come in about 7 o'clock an hour before they close, its seems as if they are ready to go for the evening. I tell them what I want done and the guy at the front desk asks a nail tech to take care of me. Well apparently I interrupted their card game in order to get my nails done...The nail tech sits down and proceeds to do my gel manicure the manicure part of it was fine...The gel polish part of it however wasn't...Let me say this before I finish...I've gone to this shop on several occasions to get my eyebrows done and every time they've done a great job including this time...This was my first time going here to get a gel manicure done...Continuing...I've gone to other shops where they have used a bonder on my nails before applying the gel polish...The nail tech proceeded to do my gel polish without using a bonder for the gel polish. Its struck me as odd that he did that...I let it go...He also did a sloppy job on my nails, he had gel polish on my skin near the cuticle and also didn't cover whole nail on some fingers...I was tired and ready to go home so once again I let it go...On 12/20 (3 days later) my gel nails began to peel off, I would have gotten it fixed that same day but it occurred after they had closed for the day.On 12/21 I returned to the shop and I let the lady at the front know that I have gotten my nails done and they hadn't even lasted 3 days. She asked who did them and I showed her the nail tech. She called him up so that he could fix my nails. The tech asked me to sit down so that he could fix the gel polish...but he seemed a little disgruntled...He used the nail dremel to remove some of the gel polish on the top of my nails...then he proceeded to paint my nails again...This time when he put polish on my skin or didn't cover my whole nail I let him know so that he could do it correctly...He seemed upset that I was calling him out on it...I just wanted my nails to be done correctly...He finished and I left not having to pay for the fix.12/24 Comes around and the polish on my index and middle finger of my right hand has peeled off some again (I've posted a picture they are the green polished nails)...I feel like this shouldn't have happened at all...I will not be coming back here to get gel manicures done. So I came here to get my eyebrows done in a last minute situation. Now from the outside this place leaves a lot to be desired and honestly that continues in the inside but the service is quick, friend and effective. The salon is clean but not pretty. They get the job done. This will not be my salon of choice but they did a nice job on my eye brows. *shrugs* Read Less

I just wanted a manicure.  I get that they want to upsell you, but when someone says no thank you, that means no.  Then they wanted to do my eyebrows.  So I am assuming that because there was little money to be made, the service was going to be junk, and that is exactly what I got.  I got a 10 minute manicure, with little attention paid to my cuticles.  There was no hand massage; she put lotion on and told me to wash my hands.  She shaped my nails square without asking my preference; I wear my nails rounded.  Once she was finished, the ushered me to the drying station without assisting my with my handbag, moving the chair, or turning on the machine.  She never came back to check on me, and never said thank you. This is the worst place I have ever been to for a manicure.  There was also food trash from patrons allowing their children to eat.  I will never return, and unless you are spending a lot of money, I wouldn't expect good service.  This is the first time I have ever not given at least a 25% tip.
