Not.recommended at all !! The guy was harrasimg me to get gel nails after a couple of minutes of being told gel nails are better I had to tell at him I don't want gel just a manicure then a couple of weeks later I went in for eyebrow was and came out look g like Dr Spock and so upset she ruined my eyebrows!!!! I thought I was going to jail for assault smdh. Completely rude, unprofessional and apparently not so talented. I don't understand, how you can mess up a simple fill in??? I was still charged and they wouldn't fix their screw up. Maybe I wouldn't have been as upset if they weren't my real nails with acrylic on top (overlay). But regardless, I paid my hard earned $$$$ for a service and received poor quality, bad attitude and a headache. Not only did I have somewhere to be that evening but their catastrophe on my hands was extremely noticeable and embarrassing!!! Their fill in for full sets start at $13. This place is a hidden gem and they are always so quick and great at what they do. I get my fill ins by Andy every time. I get regular nail polish and it lasts me 2-3 weeks even though I serve at a restaurant! Read Less

I've been here numerous times since I left Kim's. I stopped going about 3 months ago. I gradually noticed how dirty the tables are and that the equipment is not cleaned. Old human fingernails and nail dust...just unsanitary!Michael was an EXCELLENT nail tech, but after he left MD the two subsequent techs were subpar...Tony and Theresa. Denise was okay, just inconsistent. The owners are busy on their phones and relaxing in the pedicure seats. I always get fill-ins and gel polish. They aren't very friendly (to some) and I tip well every visit. Also, they are rather harsh to your natural nails. The owner (forgot her name) did my nails on the picture. The polish was terrible and started to peel. Usually gel is tough as nails...pun intended.I had to stop getting my eyebrows waxed here. My face became very irritated and I had tiny bumps in the waxed area for days. I do have sensitive skin, but this was a first.Why is it so hard to find a clean and quality nail salon? I've gone to this nail shop a few times just for the convenience of the proximity to my house. Never will I go again based on my last experience when I came back to request my nails fixed. I brought my 3 year old daughter with me to have mine and her nails done two days prior for a one on one mommy daughter date. They charged me $10 for a polish for a 3 year old and they didn't even bother doing a good job. My 3 year old could have done a better job. But hey, she's 3 no big deal I wasn't going ask them to clean it up. However, the gel polish I had on my nails were lifting ONE day after I got them done. I came back to the nail shop two days after getting them done. When I walked in the nail technician (And I believe owner) had her feet soaking in the pedicure chair and seemed like she didn't want to be bothered. After trying to explain to her my dissatisfaction with my nails she kept interrupting me about how there was nothing wrong with the awful job they did. Her remedy was putting more polish on top and calling it a day. She was so rude, service horrible, and nails were horrible as well. Save your money or go somewhere else. Read Less

I go here regularly.  They do a good job, the prices are reasonable and you rarely have to wait.  Denise does a great job on eyebrows and I've always had good results with the gel nails.  It's nice and close to home.  They do a nice party around the holidays for the guests, with good food.  It's a nice thing to stop in for.  They also have public WiFi. Please save yourself the trouble and drive five minutes up the road to Perry Hall.  This was the worst nail experience of my life atwo year old could have done the same job, especially for what I paid 80.00. They coated my toes and the tips of my fingers in gel which is very painful to remove!  This place probably going to be shut down soon anyway but still I am warning you do not go there, it is dirty and just awful.  The technician wouldn't allow me to wash my hands after I requesting to do so three times.  Omg the list goes on....  Anyone elseOut there have an experience they would like to share? I was in desperate need to get my pink and white gel nails refreshed and didn't want to go any further from home than I had to. I was surprised to find this jewel tucked away in the  Joppa shopping center. The salon that originally did my nails in Constant Friendship was great, but Best Nails was THE BEST. It is clean, spacious(as far as nail salons go). Nice atmosphere. Kelly did my nails! She was nice, gentle, and got me out the door quickly with my nails looking AWESOME!!!. I had to retrieve my daughter from school in the opposite direction and head to the airport  to pick up the hubby! I got to my daughter's school on schedule and was early for my hubby's pick up. I am pretty sure this is the only nail salon in Joppatowne, but I don't care because it is all I need! It is close enough to home that I don't feel bad running out for a pedicure and leaving my husband home alone with our daughter. I like a couple other places in White Marsh, but if I am limited on time and not already out, then this is my place to go. I am not a fake nail kind of girl, but I did come here in high school a couple times to get those done for prom and homecoming and they did a good job. I only come here for pedicures, but they also do waxing and manicures. Anyway, back to the pedi! Everyone that works here is very nice and friendly. When you walk in, someone will ask you what service you want done and if you are getting a mani or pedi, they will tell you to pick your color from the large selection on the wall.   As you are choosing your polish, they will start filling the tub with water and turn on the massager on the chair if you are getting a pedicure. Before you are even soaking your feet in the relaxing warm soapy water, someone is offering you a bottle of water.  As you sit back in the chair, you can change the speed and type of massage while your feet get scrubbed and transformed back to smooth and soft. A regular pedicure is $25 and a spa pedicure is $35. I opt for the regular pedi and add in a callus remover (gross, I know, but totally necessary!) for an extra $5. This is totally worth is because without this, my heels would never even get close to being remotely smooth!After your feet have been restored back to their original beauty, they will apply a base coat, followed by the polish you chose and finally a top coat. You can either stay in your massage chair or go sit your toes under the drying light for a few minutes. And ta-da! Pedicure complete for a great price.
