This is my new favorite Nail salon in my area. I was going for Mani and pedies for over a year now. I just started going to Christy for acrylics and she does a really great job. It's been two weeks and my nails still look really good. I usually go during the afternoon on a weekday, so I don't have to wait. I know it gets a little busy sometimes bc it's a small shop. In this salon, I had an appointment once and had to wait for 45 min because the manicurist took another client who managed to come before me. So many times the manicurist left me in the chair and went to work with another client leaving me waiting for her. They refused to do a pedicure for my father with the old fungal infection on his toenails. They used to do it before and nothing has changed. It was very upsetting especially because he is 90 years old and was quite satisfied with their service before. I would not recommend this salon to others. Read Less

Got my nails done here because they were one of the few places open on MLK Day. The quality of the gel and chrome was not the greatest and started chipping 3 days later. I even had my nail break. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED for the amount of money I paid. Read Less

I went to this place twice and I was very unsatisfied with the finish product both times. I got gel manicures both times; the first time my nails started chipping after a week and a half. I was there this past Saturday and by Tuesday one of my nails already chipped. I work in health care and I'm washing my hands all day, which is the reason I get gel in the first place. Today, I was able to peel the gel off 4 nails, CLEAN. I went to a different salon today and after wrapping the remaining nails, when she went to start scraping off, there was nothing left to scrape! The only reason I went to this place was because they have a very large color selection, which is why I decided to go back and give them another chance. I got there at 10a (opening time) I asked for pink and white ombré nails... I even showed a picture. I saw the manager "coaching" the young lady who was about to do my nails, so I already was skeptical. As she was doing my nails...I noticed she wasn't experienced in what I asked for, so I asked questions & she explained once she filed them...they would be okay. She finished and told me to wash my hands...nails were awful, she asked if everything was okay and responded no & showed her why, the ombré was differently on each nails  and I didn't not fade pink to White smoothly. The manager took over, after filing for a while, she told me she would need to do a new full set. By this time, it was 12:00 and I still needed a pedicure & had another appointment elsewhere at 2p. So I declined. She fixed them to the best of her ability but they still were not correct. I was given 20% off, it is now a week later & have one broken nail and another one lifting. I am not saying this is a bad establishment, but MY experience was not good at all. I appreciate the manager doing what she could to "fix" them, but admitting that the nail style could not be done up front would have been nice. Read Less

I found this little hidden gem on Yelp when I was searching for a nail salon that was close to where I was at the moment and found Hollywood nails. 2 wonderful Ladies did my feet nails and eye brows. I believe Christy  did my nails and eyebrows and Mindy( I hope I'm right) did my feet. Both ladies out did themselves. I got chrome on my feet and ombré chrome on my nails. Absolutely beautiful. Find this place to the right of Staple's front door. It's hidden from the parking lot. I had a much needed pedicure. The chair massage was to die for. I think I sat through five cycles. I walked in with dry heels and out with soft to the touch heels. My french tips looked great! I'll be back. Read Less

Went there for the first time 5-30-17 and had a great experience. The place was nice and clean. There was no wait time, they do chrome nails (which I love to get sometimes). I got a gel manicure fill in and she did a fantastic job. The end result was nice, neat and clean. Not a bunch of acrylic piled on my nails with polish over it. Completely in love with the line design she did on my two index fingers. Price was good also. I definately am going back and would recommend to others ! Read Less

This shop is a little hard to find. Just know it's in the LA Fitness/HomeGoods/Aldi shopping plaza, behind the Advanced Auto Parts store. Parking can be hectic at all hours so beware. The space itself is smaller than most nail places, they have 6 nail stations and 6 pretty new spa. The chairs had great massage settings too, so that was a pleasant surprise. There's a clean bathroom in the back and maybe a room for waxing or a rest area, I couldn't see as it was closed.So I did a walk in for a classic pedicure. They were prompt to greet me and I got seated in a spa chair quickly. Lily was my nail technician and she was awesome! We conversed a little but I was on my phone so she left me to it which I appreciate. She was extremely thorough and didn't phone it in like most places I've tried in Gaithersburg. Without me asking, she already went ahead to cut out the problematic nails that cut into the sides of my big toe (a little tmi but hopefully helpful to others to know her attention to detail... most technicians skip it). She cut out the cuticles well, gave a great leg massage and painted my nails quickly and fully, without missing any space.The basic spa pedicure was $27 and their mani/pedis are $37. After seeing all these good reviews I feel kinda bad for mine but I feel like I need to inform others of my bad experience. I decided to get my lashes done... First off - The service was great. No complaints there. The location was nice too. Now to the not so great part. I got my full set of lashes done 4 days ago. Half of them have fallen out already. $120 (140 including my tip) gone in 4 days. After the first day a few fell out, I figured it was just a few loose ones. Day two, few more fell out of each eye ... Now I'm starting to get worried. Now we are at day 4 and half of my lashes are gone or falling out. I did not get them wet for the first 36 hours, I did not use mascara, I did not use soap, oils, and I slept on my back. I wasted $120 for 4 days of eyelashes. So disappointed and upset.
