Went here on a whim today since the nail salon closest to me was too busy. I’m glad it was, because this place was so pretty with the lavender walls, and I was greeted with genuine smiles. They did a great job and I will definitely go back.

Very clean salon that does a professional job! All tools come out of a fresh package. Employees disinfect the bowls and store in front of you which is extra ensuring. These are the comfiest pedicure chairs I have ever sat in! There is a great selection of colors for traditional polish, gel polish and SNS Dipping (which I highly recommend). They also do a great job on eyebrows! They are able to clean them up without you looking like your 4 year old attacked you with the razor.

This is my NEW GO TO NAIL SALON. After years of being a loyal customer to a Local Urbana salon I was fed up with the downward spiral of customer service.
I took a leap and made an appointment at Modern Nails and it was fabulous. I loved the warm, welcoming salon with the most beautiful lilac colored walls and it smelled just so lovely. It was an absolute delight to spend an hour getting my nails done. Overall, Modern Nails sets the bar so high, it's great!!

I love the atmosphere, very friendly and detailed oriented. I moved recently to Urbana and tried other places. This is by far the best place in Urbana to do your nails.

Very clean salon that does a professional job! All tools come out of a fresh package. Employees disinfect the bowls and store in front of you which is extra ensuring. This is my NEW GO TO NAIL SALON. After years of being a loyal customer to a Local Urbana salon I was fed up with the downward spiral of customer service.
I took a leap and made an appointment at Modern Nails and it was fabulous. I loved the warm, welcoming salon with the most beautiful lilac colored walls and it smelled just so lovely. It was an absolute delight to spend an hour getting my nails done. Overall, Modern Nails sets the bar so high, it's great!!
