One of the older lady nail technician cut the side of my toe nails too much. I felt pain and said ouch! and and saw both side of my toe bleeding. so I looked at her and she smiled and said "I cut it too deep." like its nothing. I love going here. I don't go as often as I should, but even after a year they remembered me. It's a bit hidden, but worth going. At first I went because the prices seemed the most reasonable, but now I just enjoy the atmosphere. I only book my nails here when I do finally get them done! Wow! The worst service ever. First, what kind of nail tech tells you the combination choice you made in nail polish looks like dirty water and that, you should have listened to them. I begged to differ and even the customer next to me said, she thought is looked nice. And then there was the ignorant comment made while doing my pedicure. She said, my nail was flaky and it looked like I had been sucking on my big toe. Another nail tech had to tell her that was not nice and for me to just ignore her. She made several comments despite what I said. The expression on the two customer's faces beside me said it all. Very immature, unprofessional, disrespectful and just pure IGNORANT! I have only been here 3 times. A girl at the M.A.C. store at Harbor East told me about Koi Nails when I complimented her on how beautiful her nails was. I knew then I had to check it out for myself. I love the ease of making appts right from my phone. The salon is very clean and the staff are super friendly and fun to talk to. I have had the Luxury Pedicure (The callus remove is amazing) signature mani and gel mani done and my nails are on point when I leave. You also get a text on your phone an hour before your appt which I find is helpful if it's a weekend and I am out and about running errands. I don't live too far away (Randallstown), but I will make the trip any day to have my nails taken care of by the staff at Koi. Read Less

While I have yet to get a pedicure here, I have never been disappointed with my manicures. I've only ever seen Tina, but she is excellent and always does a great job & exactly what I wanted. In my experience (also maybe because I only see Tina) but you have to make an appointment ahead of time. Depending on what time of day you are after, I felt her evenings booked fast but often had spaces during day. I try to book about 2-3 days ahead and haven't had any issues.
