Today was my first time at Polish'd and I really enjoyed myself! I got the powder dipped gel polish for the first time ever and the owner who was doing my nails was happy to explain the process to me. My nails turned out beautifully and I'm happy to hear it's easier on your nails than gel polish. A different woman did my pedicure and I enjoyed that just as much. The nail tech Victoria is amazing, not just because she is professional, and personable but also because she cuts nails straight, cleans them well and gently, and is neat and even in every aspect of her nail service. My gel mani lasted almost a month the first time she did them. I requested an appointment after my great experience to prep for a special event, this was on a Saturday which ended up being busy to the point that I did not have hot water for my pedi. Not a prob, Victoria is amazing and the cold water is worth soaking in for her to get my feet right. Moving on to my mani I accidentally smudge a toe. Victoria works to fix my toe as she starts my hands, the owner walks by asking what she is doing -Victoria is mid stroke of polishing my hand to set into the LED light- Victoria very professionally responds and gets back to my mani. The owner less than a minute later then very rudely ask between my tech and another "Who's turn is it to take a pedicure". Not only did I schedule an appointment (i arrived 20 min early) but I was also mid service. The owner comes over and ask me can she finish my polish because Victoria has something to do. I dont make a fuss as I dont want to interfere in Victorias hustle, but then the owner rushes through the rest of my service, globs polish on my nails, and super unevenly polish's them to rush me out the door. I was polite and bit my tongue as I didn't have time to go anywhere else to finish, but between cold water, the obnoxious talking that I had to listen to from the owner who was annoyingly loud talking to her customer when I First arrived at the salon, and her rushing me who is paying for the $30 regular pedi and $40 gel mani it made for a bad experience. Great find! Stumbled upon Polish'd on accident and first impression: it was beautiful, clean, stylish. Very modern atmosphere and the pedicure stations are so interesting! Definitely a different experience than the typical strip mall nail salon. Three of us for pedicures got in right away and they were fast and efficient. Very pleased with the color selection and tools. Shelly is a wonderful owner and was very nice to chat with and give suggestions for some great places to eat! They never take walk ins and If you are lucky enough to get someone to greet you, they make you feel like you are bothering them! They rush through their waxing and don't change the cover that they make you lay down on for getting waxed.  Also, they are not very hygienic...they will double dip their wax sticks after touching it to someone's mouth, they dip the same stick back in the same pot of wax and who knows what the previous customer got waxed! I understand some places prefer appointments, but they should really market themselves as appointments only so they don't rush through walk ins! Read Less

I'm blown away!!I got engaged this past weekend and wanted a fresh manicure to go along with my new jewelry and decided on Polish'd because I had heard great things. I AM SO GLAD I DID!Now open on Mondays, I popped in for a quick trip. I was seen immediately. The manicure went on wonderfully and my care professional was very nice and extremely attentive. Great experience. Called around 1pm and made an appointment for 2pm for a pedicure. They took me on time. Good color selection. Comfortable pedi stations although they aren't your typical massage chairs - they're benches - but they still massage. iPads at every station. Overall, it was very pretty however, I think they're too expensive! I had a mediocre pedicure for the price. I got mani/pedi/eyebrows. I paid far more than if I were to go to my regular place which dose amazing pedicures! I went because a friend recommended the place and made reservations for us. They don't have a price list and when I asked for one I never got it. They said it was up front but I don't remember seeing it. On the plus side, they don't do acrylics so the smell inside isn't as strong as most places and the staff was friendly. I'd probably only go back from my eyebrows! They look fab! Read Less

Had a great experience with Polish'd.  Called an hour ahead to see if they could take three of us for pedicures on a Saturday and they put us on the schedule.  We arrived with my three-month old baby in tow and got started.  I was pretty sure the baby would sleep the whole time (rookie mistake), but he woke up and fussed, and my nail tech was so helpful with him!  She did a great job on my toes even though she hurried to get them done so that I could take care of my son, and she even helped with his diaper change!  I felt badly for the other patrons who had to listen to him cry, but the staff were all very nice about it.  Five stars for pleasant staff, easy scheduling, and pretty nails. I was quite pleased when I was able to call ahead with 30min notice and get my friend and I in for pedicures and on a holiday weekend. We both ended up with beautiful toes and feet however I wish there was more of a massage with the service. I can count on one to two hands how many times I've gotten a pedicure. Usually I will paint my own nails, but given that we're heading into summer I decided to splurge and treat myself. I went on yelp to check out ratings and Polish'd got one of the highest ratings. I called this morning to see if they had any openings and they had one slot remaining. I really liked the ambiance. The decor including the mirrors, lobby chairs, and light fixtures are contemporary and the establishment including restroom is clean. Shelly was my pedicurist. She was very friendly and conversed with me during my visit. I asked about their sterilization of tools and foot sink and she was happy to answer my question. Shelly took her time trimming and filing my nails and scrubbing my feet. She even made recommendations when I asked what are some good polish shades for summer.  I felt she spent an adequate amount of time on me. My nails look great and my feet feel well-groomed. I'm ready for open-toed shoes and summer. I enjoyed my first experience here and plan to be a repeat customer. Read Less

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I took my mother and best friend yesterday so we could all enjoy a pedicure. Maybe you had the b team working? We are all hard working moms and were so excited to finally try this place. The people didn't even greet us when we walked in. I felt like I was in their way and suggested we leave, but we stayed. One lady said, WERE READY as in to hurry up and pick a polish. We were looking for not even a minute.. They also 100% don't sterilize their tools. Also, they cut my mothers big toe and she bled the entire time..and yes she still had to pay.. Overall, my experience at Polish’d was an excellent one. Kim, the woman who did my regular manicure, was patient with all of my questions and had the experience to answer them. Her attention to detail in terms of making sure my nails were properly prepared and flawless polish application was definitely appreciated. They had a wide variety of polish brands and colors to choose from. Probably one of my favorite aspects of this place is that it is all-natural which fits quite well with what I was looking for. The ambience created by the music, serene color scheme, and unique décor made for a relaxing experience. Also, be aware that you can pay with a card, but tips are cash only so be sure to bring some. Love this place! I started going here because it's in the same center as my chiropractor and an awesome cupcake place. I don't normally get manicures cuz I don't usually see the need to spend money on something I can easily do myself so I opt for pedicures cuz they are much better with the cuticle situation than I can ever be. Their pedicures are reasonably priced, the place is welcoming, there are an abundance of colors to choose from based on the season or whatever you mood call for that day. However, I then decided to splurge and get a gel manicure before going away on vacation since the gel lasts longer and I wanted to be a bit fancy for once. I made a huge mistake though... I didn't go to Polish'd at first. Instead I went to Symmetry off 40 because it was slightly closer to home. It was terrible.... once I saw how that monster of a lady (who also told me you can't do a French manicure in gel.... uhhhh... wrong....) chopped off all the length of my nails that I was so careful to grow out I left. I love the calming atmosphere and massaging bench seats! The owner is friendly and remembers everyone who visits. The attendants are thorough with stubborn toes like mine and do a great job at pedicures. The facilities are very clean and the staff are talkative when you are, and quiet when you feel like peacefulness. I chose this salon based on reviews and proximity. Arrived as a walk-in on a Tuesday around noon for a pedicure and simple manicure and was told that I would need to wait about 40 minutes, as two other people had just come in as walk-ins. (At this time there were two techs working.) Not a problem as I had an errand to run. I came back at the appropriate time and was quickly seated at the bench for a pedicure. As you can see from the pictures, their foot stations are bench seats, each section with a tub. The bench does have a massage element in it, but with only three options.  There are pros and cons to the bench seating, on big con is that there is no way to move the bench back from the tub. If your legs are longer, this could feel uncomfortable. I'm average height - 5'4" - and I felt a little squished. I asked about and chose the upgrade to spa pedicure, but I was not pressured to consider it. I appreciated that. However, compared to other spa pedicures I've had, this one lacked a little. My foot massage was not really enjoyable. Suzanne's idea of massage is simply rubbing her hands along the edge of your feet in a quick back and forth motion. No deep pressure and the same treatment on half of my lower leg. Then, the hot towels were used only to wipe my feet down - no wrap and allow to cool. She also skipped the use of oil in my cuticles (for both hands and feet) and ultimately, when I left, both my hands and feet felt dry.When we got to the manicure, I was told that my cuticles are too thin to cut and recommended pushing back only. (She was concerned that she may cut me, and I appreciated her care for my safety.) Unfortunately, however, that resulted in her painting over my cuticles, which does not look good to me. The overall paint job is nice, cuticles notwithstanding. I like the shaping. One other con of the manicure, no hand massage. And as I mentioned, no oil in the cuticles. I showed up at 930 on a Sunday morning and was excited to have been seen with no wait. The scenery and decoration was so elegant and just gorgeous. I definitely felt like I was in the spa, the pedicure area was so comfortable. I must say that my pedicure was just ok for the price though, I did get the grater as well but my pedicure still felt like nothing special. I usually go down the street where I get the same pedicure with for less and better quality as far as foot scrub and lotion for after the pedicure. I definitely would love to see something added to go with the look of the place and the price. I'm not sure if this could be my regular nail shop, but maybe with some changes in the actual pedicure. Had an amazing experience here. My gel manicure lasted 2.5 weeks. I felt welcomed here. I do recommend that you call ahead and make an appointment. They only have 6 technicians and they are very particular about timing. I wanted to add a paraffin dip to my pedicure but was told I couldn't because there was someone after me. I can respect that. What I loved most about my visit is they didn't wear gloves and did a very through job in each step of the process. I didn't feel rush at all and although they didn't have traditional massaging chairs, I was very relaxed. The space is esthetically pleasing, clean, and everyone was well put together. I also really liked that there was a sink at every manicure station so there is no need to get up to wash hands.This was probably the most through manicure and pedicure I've gotten. This place is pretty great. I took my dad here for father's day for the Man-i-cure and pedicure and I had pedicure too. This was my dad's first experience in a nail salon. He's wanted to go back since then. The decor is great and really add to the experience. Also they have ipads that you can use while you get a pedicure. The staff there is pretty friendly and there is a cupcake shop next door that is pretty awesome. The location is hard to find but thanks to yelp I knew to go around the back side of the building. Parking is ample and, well....they have floating bubble chairs. What's not to love? Read Less

I wanted to wait and do this review until AFTER some time had passed so I can express my full experience.Location:  Cheese and crackers!  This place was difficult for me to find.  After riding up and down the main road like a simp, I finally figured out that you have to turn into the housing complex to get to the strip mall where the store is located.  But wait, there's more! Don't stop there! LOL!  Polish'd is located around back on the lower level. Whew! Ambiance:  Chillllleeee.  This place is just pure gorgeous on the inside.  So pretty that I was wondering if I should even sit.  Hanging chairs and what not, really relaxing colors, and *gasp* a mini iPod at your pedicure station.  Now what now?  I don't even have one of those at home!  I totally dug the stations, the pedicure area looked like a big 'ol couch with pillows, and each mani station had it's own sink!  Get it! Service: I totally dug my nail technician, she was super fun and did a great job with my mani/pedi.  Now what I learned is that this place simply does natural nail care, there are no acrylics, no gel nails, no junk nails, designs etc. So that means, no wonky smell.  Yes! Just. Polish. I love! Odds/Ends:They have a ton of  polish, its like someone crapped out a rainbow and then threw some more out later.  Pretty blame awesome, indeed.  I have never been to a shop with a selection that big.  In comparisons with other salons, the prices are slightly higher than average.  But, I totally understand, considering the ambiance, the organic materials,  the comfy-ness (this is MY word, #DJM) and the like.       Now my gripe....I'm not sure if it is just me and my inability to be delicate with my nails, my ever need to wash them due to my job, or what....BUT this manicure began to lift a bit and one nail chipped....prior to two weeks.  D'oH!
