If you have time to wait, sure... I felt very overwhelmed. I went in for a single gel nail repair, after Cindy tried to talk me out of the color my nails already were, she sat me at a station. Then proceeded to greet every client who then walked in, instead of letting the 3 free employees do their job. They have a very friendly front desk girl who seemed overwhelmed as well. They have coffee, water, and candies which is a nice gesture. The place is clean as well. But, The flow is just uncomfortable.. I felt totally forgotten and ran out of time to actually get the repair. I understand the need to please every client, but focus on one at a time. I really don’t know if I’ll be back. Read Less

I can't say enough good things about this salon! I showed up and they had the capacity to take me right away. The gentleman who did my manicure was gentle, attentive to detail, and very friendly. The whole store is clean and organized and the music was soothing spa music. I will go out of my way to come here again! Read Less

This place used to be great but it seems like they are more rushed than normal. I got a regular manicure and went home to take it off and repaint myself as there were bare spots everywhere after I pointed it out to the technician. Read Less

I've been going to Cindy and Danny for 20 years (man I just aged myself)! Danny is absolutely the best nail technician I have ever been to. I have gel nails and he makes them look so natural, nice and thin. You won't be disappointed here! Ask for Danny or Cindy though. Not a very inviting atmosphere. Nails were filed terrible. There is also a large amount of dead skin on the areas which not only is completely unsanitary but I ended up with dirt and bubbles under my polish. They do not value their customers. Read Less

This is no longer the fuzzy, friendly warm salon I once knew. I've been an Avalon customer for more than 20 years, but yesterday during my appointment, due to the demeanor of the owner I no longer feel like a valued customer and will not be returning. When coming in the door the normal warm greeting was not there, the person scheduled to do both manicure and pedicure only did my manicure, and there was no warm good bye as is the norm. Normally, I am allowed to put the tip on my credit card, but on this visit, I was told I had to tip in cash. Read Less

Don't waste your time or money. My normal nail artist is out of town for 6 weeks- I needed a fill badly so I thought I'd try this place. While I appreciate the fact that my technician took his time- I'm very disappointed with the outcome. My nails were very straight before, and all but 2 are now crooked. Some look round, some look square. He didn't fix the previous nails that were lifting. I got a French tip- and now you can see where my nails were lifting terribly. It looks TERRIBLE. It looks like I did it myself at home, I have white streaks from where the paint wasn't dry when he put the clear coat on also. I'm going to have to pay someone else to fix it. Very disappointed- going somewhere after work today to get my nails repainted a darker color so you can't see what they look like underneath. Read Less
