I have went to this salon a few times. The first few times were ok service. I always felt my pedicure was rushed and Natalie the owner I would have to remind she forgot to do this or that. I looked passed it all and went back today. A lady started a gel pedicure on me. She was digging st the side of my toe so far up towards my cuticle it felt like she was cutting my toe off. There was not a need for that I do not have ingrown nails. I said ouch clearly multiple times and she still went on cutting away. Even the Spanish speaking nail tech looked over to see what was going on. I was patient until she cut me and I started to bleed and she didn’t even acknowledge or ask me if I was ok. I then asked for Natalie to finish my pedicure and nails. Natalie rushed the entire time and my nails looked terrible. She didn’t even clean them up. I left with paint on my skin and a cut finger. She then proceeded to charge me the full 92$ For my nails and toes... the price wasn’t my issue the service I received and he quality I received for the price is my issue. I will never ever return. They are more concerned with pushing customers in and out and harassing you to take pictures of your nails which is really awkward. Staffed are a bit pushy, think everything is funny including their errors and faults, don’t apologize and definitely talk about clients in their own language. They have 20 rings with gel colors, will allow you to pick, a color, complete your fill && THEN tell you they DO NOT HAVE IT. Including all cat eye colors with a ring filled with them. Loved this salon until November.. now this location is poorly managed with mediocre techs.  The manager (new owner?) put nails on me and they were so thick, that upon refill, her own tech asked where I got such a bad set of nails.  She prides herself on her speed but her work is shoddy.  I tired of her telling me how crazy she was. I've tried at least 4 different techs for full set, fills and pedicures and I haven't come away with anything outstanding since they changed hands.  It's time for a new salon, for me. Read Less

This place is now owned by a new person and it's so awful. I came in to get a pedicure and I should have walked out after seeing the nail polishes. There are barely any OPI polishes, mostly wet n wild and china glaze. I have never seen a nail place stock such cheap and outdated polishes. Then I'm told which seat to take and an awkward, older man comes over. I put my feet in the water and he turns on the jet and the water starts spraying up and out of the bowl. He drains it, refills it, and it gets worse from here. I had an OPI Polish on that had glitter in it.....he was using a very tiny piece of cotton with polish remover to take it off. Instead of using more nail polish remover he actually tried to file the polish off. This man thought I was going to let him file the hell out of my toe nails to get polish off. I told him to stop and I would remove the polish myself. He then says he was just trying to hurry. I replied, "I'm the only customer in here and 4 of you are working, why are you trying to go so fast". My feet were barely in the water for three minutes and he tries to use a grater on my heel. I asked for the pumice stone and he didn't have one. I do not believe this place is sanitary because the tools were just in an empty jar with no solution. I was unbelievably uncomfortable. I kept wanting to stop and leave but I just didn't want to be rude. The entire pedicure lasted roughly 20 minutes and it was incredibly uncomfortable. I love this salon. The pedicures are amazing. They take their time and are very meticulous. My gel manicures easily last 2-3 weeks. I take my 5 year old daughter there to get her nails painted and to get baby pedis for our mommy daughter dates and they are so patient and accommodating. Definitely a hidden gem in Dundalk. I came here once because all the other places in Dundalk suck and since that first time I've been coming back ever since. Went here one time before to get acrylic full set girl that did my nails does great designs. Came back for another time to get my nails done at 645 and was told that it was going to be a 45 minute wait. They close at 8 so i asked are they going to be able to take me and my friend at that time. One lady said she would take us late ... So i wanted to here from her mouth what time we should come back so there was no confusion. The girl sitting at the front desk was rude and said its 730 and made a comment that she did the math and that the lady said 45 minutes laughing about it. I know how to do math it was the simple fact of i wanted her to tell me a specific time. I dont take disrespect and for them to allow her to make snotty comments about clients is unprofessional. What if i had a disability ?? I wont be coming back and it sucks because i really liked the lady who does the great designs. I have been going to Tip Top since I was 16 I'm 30 now other places are way more expensive and the quality isn't as good as tip top is.... even under new management still same great quality service.... if there is ever an issue they will fix it quick and no issues I may not be able to go as often as I like but still my #1 I also yell everyone how wonderful it is... First time ive been and the ladys were excellent. I treated my wife and her best friend to a pedicure and even though they were under staffed they were right on point with everything and did an excellent job. I was kind of hesitant when I pulled up outside because it looked like your run of the mill nail salon. I was glad I tried it out! The service was extremely friendly and helpful. This place is terrible, find somewhere else to go.I went in on a Sunday afternoon for a pedicure. Despite the fact only one other person was waiting when I arrived I waited more than a half hour. The technician who did my pedicure cut my nails as far down as possible, exposing that sensitive skin that's usually protected by the nail. I almost walked out. Following that incident they proceeded to slather on acidic mixtures and were very insensitive to how much pain it was in, even when I specifically told them what hurt and not to do it anymore. NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!! thats all i can say. i got my nails filled here because my normal shop was closed. i got a pedi too! so first off, durig my pedi. the women left a peice of nail in my toe causing pain so i had to ttake the tool and DIG it out myself. my feet were left un-smooth. THE PAINT WAS ALL OVER MY TOES. during the fill in, the guy filled my nails. he didnt use the dremmel tool to file around my acrylic. he only filed in the MIDDLE of my acrylic nail. wich left me nail un-even and lumpy! half of the acrylic was stuck to my skin. he left them too thick under neath my nail and REALLY SHARP on the corners. im so mad at this shop i cant evens ee straight! THEN they painted my nails leaving the polish so thick it would hardly dry. then painted gel overtop which then cracked 4 hours later. 4 days later, my acrylic is falling OFF!!! only in the places he filled. so it actually looks like i never had my nails filled in from the original time i got them done. im going there tonight and requesting my $43 back!!! i will never ever go here! i only go to NAIL ENVY in eastpoint mall and they do fabulous work! i only came to tip top cause nail envy had a power outage from the storm, otherwise i would of went there. this place is discusting too! it doesnt look very clean either. i was sceptical about this place since it was empty n only 2 workers but going on vacation i had to get them done/ well NEVER AGAIN!!!!
