Not a fan of this salon. I've several not so good experiences there from bad gel manicures to going back to have a nail fixed and getting a bit of an attitude. The reason I had to get it fixed was the gel went on uneven, actually I was a bit surprised they didn't fix it before I left. I won't be going back.

Made a 5:00 appointment for two pedicures. One for my daughter and one for me. When we came in they got our chairs ready and we were seated with our feet soaking. After a few minutes I realized that my daughters pedicure was proceeding but I was still sitting with my feet in what was now cool water. Apparently the same girl is doing both pedicures. That is not my idea of two pedicures at 5. I am on a time schedule and this will now take twice as long as planned. When I inquired I was told that the other girl had gone home early with an emergency. I understand sometimes that happens but they should have mentioned that when we came in and given us an option to change our appointment. Not just assume that we wouldn't mind waiting.

The place is very clean and well organized. That's where the 2 stars kick in cause service sucks. There were no options for pedicures besides an old lady rubbing your feet with watered down lotion. No massage no wax no thank you have a good day. This was the first time I was happy that I could not leave a tip on the credit card. Photos to show how well manicured the place is cause eye service is the only good thing here.

Love this nail place! Best I have ever been to. The service is wonderful and pricing is very fair for the quality. I would highly recommend this salon. I noticed 1 bad review and was very surprised because I have been to this salon many times and have never had a bad experience. I think some people have unreasonable expectations.

I recently moved to damascus and I wanted find a new nail place to do my nails every three weeks. I googled and found this place got good reviews and went there to do my nail. I was not happy about my experience with them. I wanted to do french gel nails with designs on my ring finger. The person who does the designs said the design I picked is too complicated to do and i was like are you serious ( they still charge extra $10 and they can't just draw the simple flower without calling it complicated? ) ? It is the same design I got couple of months ago from a nail place in Olney. Then, he asked me to pick something simple and I'm like no thanks I don't trust your skills anymore and don't want something looks funny on my nails. Second, They charged me extra for the french nail. something that I have not experienced before. I just gave them one star because the girl was very nice and friendly. I believe that she is the only nice person in there. other people were too loud and so annoying.

Not good!!! The girl I saw was rude, argumentative and she talked about me in her language with the other lady that works there. The reason I know this is that the other lady responded initially in English by mistake. I left with a gel manicure that was sloppy on top of everything else. I believe the lady I saw was Going by Alli but I'm not sure. Regardless, if you want to be talked about rudely then go here!!!!

Best nail salon I've been to. The staff is always incredibly friendly and after my first appointment 4 years ago she already knew my name! I don't go often maybe every 3 months depending on the time of year but they never forget about my family and their names! I've never had a complaint with my nails and when other salons have messed up my eyebrows I come here to get them fixed! Waxing is great too!

Both Calvin and Sophia are amazing at nails. My friend suggested I go there, and now that I have gone, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Calvin and Sophia are some of the nicest people I have ever met at a nail salon. My appointments are always on time and they always try to get you in if an emergency pops up (aka broken nail). I love this shop!

Damascus nail is not my normal nail salon, but I had to get a couple fixed before I ruined all my nail. I went in, and I was greeted with a smile. After my nails were done, I realized that i had gone through the front door 20 minutes before closing. They didn't have to do anything but they did. Thanks Damascus nail for gear costumer service and a smile.
