I have never found a salon so dedicated to their customers as this salon. I go to Vivian and she is the best technician I have ever worked with. When I first started going there a year ago my nails were thin, weak and I had to keep them short because they would break and chip if they got beyond finger length. I came in for a full set with gel polish. Literally the worst job I've ever had done at a nail salon, and I've been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for years now....I have multiple cuts around my cuticles where she was careless with the file and dug into my skin causing me to bleed. She asked if I wanted to keep my coffin shape and I told her yes and I prefer them very thin...and then she just glopped a very thick layer of acrylic over my nails in a square shape. Didn't listen to me, even after I asked again multiple times that she make them thin and coffin shaped. 2 of my nails are crooked, there is acrylic under my nails sticking to my skin, the gel is all over the place and they are all thick and lumpy. I've been going here for a while, depending on who you get the experience is good. The pedicures have always been good, but my friend and I got acrylics here and for me it was very painful and one lady just did not know how to shape them. They also did not look amazing. Read Less

They need to find a bigger shop and hire more staff. Went yesterday only to be turned away. They didn't even give me the option to come back. They only have 3 pedicure chairs and about 4 Nail stations. Went across the street to Pearl Nails. Even though they were busy they still told me I could stay and they did a wonderful job on my nails and feet. If you don't have an appointment at Columbia Nails you can forget it. Read Less

I can not say enough amazing things about this place. I come every two weeks and there is a reason why. You do not feel uncomfortable or like you don't know what is going on. Everyone here is personable and does a great job! The ladies from Columbia's nails were very welcoming. You don't need an appointment, they take walkins. The ladies are very talkative and nice. They treat you like you were at home. Very reasonable as well in regards to prices. Read Less

I have been coming to Vivian, An  and Mia since 2001.  They always manage to get me scheduled and are like family.  They do a great job.  I've never had  problems like I used to at another salon in town.  On the rare occasion I break a nail they get it fixed right away.   My daughter sees Dawn and loves her waxes and her gel manicures.  The place is clean and the staff is always friendly. Tried this Salon twice now and both times I've been disappointed in my gel manicure. The first time, there was a noticeable gap between the cuticle and where the paint started, making look as if the manicure was already 3 days old. The paint started chipping considerably after only 9 days. The second manicure had the same gap and the paint started bubbling up from the cuticle side after only 5 days! The paint was completely coming off by day 7! The lady also filed my very healthy, strong nails till they were super thin. I realize they're cheaper than some other area salons, but I still paid $30 (before tip) for a  manicure that didn't even last 1 week. I will not be going back. Read Less

I always come in as a walkin.  only once I was told the wait was too long.  I never get nickel and dimed like other places, the pedicures are always great quality and last a very long time. if I have any requests they comply. This place is about a minute from my house so I decided to try it out for a pedicure. My nail technician was Ann and she was very good and gentle.  Like another reviewer said, this place isn't big or flashy like some of the newer places around town but they do a great job. I have been getting my nails serviced by Mrs. Vivian for over 10 years! Columbia nails is fast, friendly and reasonably priced considering the longevity of your nails. I have tried cheaper places before and the quality is of NO comparison. They offer a wide range of services which include eyelash extension. Everything is clean and tidy. After every client, items are placed in the dry sanitizer and bowls are disinfected. I have moved several times over the past couple of years and I ALWAYS make the drive back to see my gals! everyone here is awful except for Dawn.. but only if you are a regular.like the other review says, the workers don't seem like they really care and just want to get the job done. one of the technicians actually broke two of my nails and i was PISSED!but this place is cheaper than other places.. if you decide to go, make sure you get DAWN! I went to get a fill in and a pedicure on Saturday and was greeted and told to sit at a chair I'm the front. The nail tech told me that I had to wait until she did a little boy's nails who walked in after me. Then she started on my nails and sent me to another nail tech to finish. The new nail tech said nothing to me the whole time she is doing my nails. Then I was instructed to go to the pedicure chair. I reached to get my purse and she said no, she would get it. My purse was never given to me. It remained on the floor by the table where I received my fill in. I picked it up on my way to the drying station. Another customer came in to the same nail tech and she talked to her right away. I did not leave a tip and I will not go back again. Disappointed. Read Less
