I read a few yelp reviews before trying this salon out. A few people mentioned that a staff member brings her daughter to the salon. I thought to myself...she can't be THAT bad. I was wrong. The place is very nice and clean. I didn't have an appointment and was able to get a manicure right away. However, if you are going to the salon and expect some quiet time to yourself I suggest going during school hours and MAYBE this little girl won't be there. Believe me, I like kids but there is a time and place for it. Not in a salon where people go for a tranquil and relaxing experience. She was yelling, asking customers for help with her homework and just being annoying. The amazing part is both her mom and dad work at the salon. I am a Cometologist Educator and have been getting my nails done for over 20 years. I'm never happy with my nails EVER!! I always have something to say about my nails or the salon. I’m not sure why they take appointments when they don’t have the staff to maintain appointments and walk ins. Made an appointment and after 20 minutes of waiting I left because all technicians were no where close to being ready to take us. The ventilation was also terrible. Read Less

This is the BEST place I've EVER had my nails done. I probably won't ever go anywhere else for as long as I live in Baltimore. The prices are fair and the women working there are so friendly. In some of these reviews people complain about one of them bringing in their young daughter, but she's the cutest little girl and we all helped her with her math homework lol. Overall though she wasn't at all bothersome or in the way. I'm not someone who gets acrylics often, so I never quite know what shape and length I want. The woman working with me was so patient and helped me pick a shape and even a color. It was raining this particular day and I had gotten my toes done too, and before I left they moisturized my feet, put plastic bags over them, and then put my shoes on for me. Who does that?? I was so shocked at now NICE everyone was!My nails have grown out a bunch now, but I haven't yet experienced that annoying thing where the nails lift up and your hair gets stuck under them. I've had that problem at every other nail salon I've ever been to, even ones that were pricer than here. Pay them a visit! You won't be disappointed. This was my first time getting acrylic nails since around 2012 but Tina helped me pick out these super cool glitter tips for the autumn! She was very sweet and when I let her know that I have joint issues in one of my fingers, she was careful not to apply too much pressure on the area that is painful. I'll definitely be back! Those lime green and black glitter tips are calling my name :) Plus these won't chip like polish does and I can probably go a little longer without a fill since regrowth will be less apparent. Five star nail salon! Large selection of gel and regular polish colors. The salon is nice and most importantly clean and sanitary! Very quick and friendly service with reasonable prices. I got a gel manicure with gel polish removal for $30 total. I have definitely found my new go-to nail salon! Tracy did my gel manicure and she did a fabulous job. I went there for the first time yesterday and I am beyond happy with my whole experience. I was offered a drink by Lynda the moment I walked in the door, was given a hand, arm, neck and back massage, and hot towels. My nails came out awesome. I had just finished working three night shifts in a row and decided to reward my hard work with a manicure, as I was way overdue.  As soon as I walked in, I was cheerfully greeted by several employees. I expressed my interest in the "dipping powder" versus traditional gel manicures, and they were able to answer all of my questions and were eager to help me decide on a color. During my service, they continued to treat every customer with the same professionalism and politeness. The salon was very recently (finished a week ago) remodeled and it looks incredible.. Very clean and tidy!  I look forward to going back for all of my future manis, as well as my pedis! However: Important! There is no place to include a tip when you pay with a card.. The salon itself is GORGEOUS!   Fresh and modern color palette and furniture...they have a nice selection of beverages including wine if you choose!   The service providers are fantastic, so welcoming and do great work!!  I came in for the first time wanting a full set and "regular" pedicure --- far from any other salon I've been to.  Even using hot stones.  Just a perfect salon experience. I always have an amazing experience at Myriams!  My husband and I started going Christmas Eve.   They service you with a smile!  It doesn't  matter who does your mani/pedi it will look amazing and last.  You don't keep running back because the polish has come off.  They have great staff - and their clientele are very nice!  Their spa is clean, relaxing.  After a long and busy day at work for them to touch your feet - it's just what the doctor ordered.  They don't rush - they provide AMAZING SERVICE.  I just love Myriams located on YORK ROAD!!!!  I've been to a lot of the local nail salons in the area and they don't treat you the same.  It's just business as usual.  Come to Myriams you won't be disappointed.  We've had wine on Friday's we love it!  Happy Hour for most Read Less

I just moved in the area so I decided to heck this place out since I love right up the road. I walked in with the expectations of only getting my eyebrows done to get a feel for the place. After speaking with a regular here who was waiting along with me she convinced me to get more services done. I ended up getting the pedicure , manicure and my eye brows waxed. And I LOVE it ! They listened to what I wanted done. Kept asking if this is what I wanted on the French nails I had done. I heard of luxy nails from my niece and it was well worth the 30 minute ride to get there and have a day of pampering. Rose did a aweasome job. The music was even great listening to atvtge bar. Ok, so as mentioned by someone else, one of the employees' little girl is there in the summer and she is kinda loud and can be annoying. I don't care. They give a good pedicure. The spa pedicure with paraffin wax is something like $45. If you have never tried paraffin, it is wonderful, and it's usually not this cheap. The chairs are comfy, the employees are really friendly, but not overly talkative, and it's clean. There is also generally never a wait. I like (and expect) to relax in a quiet environment when I get a pedicure.  This didn't happen at Myriam Nails.  On of the staff had their little girl here and she tried to play LOUDLY (like screening) with every person getting a pedicure.  And NO ONE told her to be quiet, ever.First time here so maybe this isn't the usual situation on a Saturday late morning.If I could remove her from the experience, it would have been a medium-ish level pedicure.  Tip to the staff: Do NOT bring your loud children to work where they bother your customers who are paying you money to receive a relaxing experience. This place is the best!! Very clean, new spa pedicure chairs, and the best gel-polish manicure that I've had in 10 years. I won't go any where else. Tracy is very popular but my main guy is Jaing (pronounced Yang) and he gives the best pedicure massage - sometimes he'll massage my shoulders as well while my toes dry. I've met people here that drive from the city, just to get their nails done here. Also, they have a loyalty card if you pay cash and when you get 10 stamps (which is 5 visits for me) you get $14 off.Obviously, I can't recommend enough. Read Less

I like this place. I went here years ago and it wasn't that nice. However, I recently went back and it's been completely renovated (and new owners since I'd been maybe 8-10 years ago). The owners are very nice. I really enjoyed my pedicure and was happy that I got a real massage with it (versus at similar places where a massage consists of running gloved hands up and down your leg without any pressure). Their color selection was OK for my taste, however they seem to carry mostly pinks and reds with little variety. The only thing I disliked what that I was charged $3 for "cut-down" when I went to get a fill. I really hate when nail places nickel and dime everything when clearly if you're getting your nails filled, you will want them "cut down" the amount that they grew out. It should be included. I've always had a decent pedi here for years past so I went for a mani/pedi for a special occasion. Granted, it had been two years since going here, but I didn't expect my nails to turn out so badly. This was absolutely the worst mani/pedi experience I've ever had. The girl continually pinched the skin around my toes and even made one bleed. She was young and pleasant but either not experienced or had really bad eyesight. I went in with strong, healthy fingernails and she butchered them. I'm not exaggerating. It's been three weeks and my nails are still short and breaking in odd places because of how she cut them. She trimmed the nails too short, filed them crooked (I had to point out at least 3 for her to fix), and she did a bizarre cut into my nail to make it more narrow. I am so upset with how my once beautiful nails now look. Never going back. Read Less

We set up a last minute appt. for 10 - yes, ten! - people, for manicures, pedicures and some nail art, two people for full sets. For half the group, this was their first experience with a nail salon. Our group included both kids and adults, ages 3 to 30's. The shop was clean, tools spotless and everything went smoothly. Wonderful results. Very friendly, professional staff. They have a buy 10 get one free member card. I plan to continue to come here for all my nail needs. They also offer eyelash extensions & waxing services though we did not use those. They've been in business for around 12 years, somewhat dated decor, but all the equipment was new/current. Everyone enjoyed the massage chairs for the pedicures! The nail art was exquisite.
