My mother asked to see their license because she was getting a pedicure and the lady doing it didn't quite know what she was doing and did not speak any English. They were very rude to us all because we asked 2 c license but could not show us any license of any worker in there and they think that they don't have to show customers their license but they do. We were asked to leave all because my sister has her license and she called and reported them to the board so then they call the police on us! It's a shame that us black people don't realize that they are working on us they don't clean nor do they replace their tools especially when using giving a pedicure or manicure we just go ahead and let them work, then pay them and leave, but you don't think about it later when you get fungus, athlete's feet or an ingrown toenail for that matter! Did ya think about the nail salon you last visited did you think about if the person that did your manicure or pedicure if they used clean utensils or new utensils no it didn't cross your mind, or Did It? Because in the state of Maryland is the law that every nail salon use a new pair of snippers on a new customer. Also a New Emery Board...YES A NAIL FILE, I didn't know that either. Honestly did you know this?Do you even care? It's your body they're working on! Did you knw U can easily catch hepatitis C? Bottom line is educate yourself on things like this we keep up with the latest fads the latest things going on with celebrities Etc but think about the foreigners having most salons here in Baltimore and don't even have a license!

Let me tell you.. Christina can do nails.. However, the rude service and the feeling of being an inconvenience in the salon, is not worth it. I overlooked a lot of the rudeness there, I would only get gel manis, because they have an older person doing the pedicures, who doesn't do a great job, while the young man sits around on his iphone all day. Today I went in around 11:30am, there was two people there getting pedis and I told the man that I wanted a gel mani. He let me sit there soaking my nails for 45 mins waiting for Christina who was in the back doing god knows what, she comes out in less than a happy attitude, and starts on someone else's nails. I have no problem waiting my turn, however, they should have told me. Christina told me she was going to be another half hour, I asked if the man could do my nails, he says, "I think you're better just coming back", I guess it would have inconvenienced whatever video game he was playing. That was the last straw. On top of all that, it's not the cleanest place, which I ignored since I would just get my nails done there, but really- Pro Nails down the street is much MUCH better. Sorry Nail Designs but I have moved on to a cleaner, updated salon, with happy people to serve me.

The nickel and dime you for everything here.. The fees are not worth the service I used to frequent here 2 times a month along with my husband unto I got annoyed with the additional charges..I was charged extra for having my nails filed to the "stiletto nail" shape one day with my fill-in I was told it was a extra fee.. When I asked y they said it was "extra work" when I responded, "you have to file my nails anyway why is it a extra fee" I got no response. Another time I was charged extra when I asked for 2 different color polishes on my nails. A separate time I wanted to use the white polish as a primary color on my nails and they stated its a extra fee to use the white polish And none of these extra fees are listed anywhere! The last straw was I took my 10 yr old daughter to get her nails polished and she knocked over the nail design board and it broke the nail tech later said I won't charge you for the board because you come all the time but we normally charge for that.. I have never been back since and that ways 4 months ago. I hate places that nickel you to death.

Let me tell you.. Christina can do nails.. However, the rude service and the feeling of being an inconvenience in the salon, is not worth it. I overlooked a lot of the rudeness there, I would only get gel manis, because they have an older person doing the pedicures, who doesn't do a great job, while the young man sits around on his iphone all day.
