Do not come here if you have high expectations. Or any expectation at all. I have visited out of desperation a few times. Employees are rude, and would rather stare at you instead of greeting you. The younger ladies are ok as far as basic manicures. The last straw for me happened when I went in to get my brows trimmed. I specifically asked for a trim, to keep my brows thick. Had to wait a few days to post this review to allow myself to chill. This place is shady and the only technician worth anything is Mindy ( or Mandy?...never did get that name right). Been going to this salon off and on for about a year. Usually get Mandy/Mindy but have had Tutu, and Ann.  Both Ann and Tutu left my nails looking like crap. Ann had no skill in SNS and Tutu was sloppy. The shop could use better cleaning habits.  What really pissed me off was the reward system. At the $200 mark you're entitled to $10 off.  When I went this last time, I was told my total was just $165 when it should have been $235, not counting that current visit.  Good thing I kept my receipts.  NEVER going back, except to validate my purchase total.  Really a shame because the shop could be very nice under better management. This place is a piss poor attempt at a luxury nail salon. I came here this salon because I didn't feel like driving to Waldorf and sitting in that traffic. Well after this visit, I will be sure to plan accordingly to make that trip because the service I received here was terrible. The decor of the nail shop is lovely and it gives off this ambience that the services will be on point. I sign in and wait for my turn to be serviced. It was about a 15 min wait. No big  deal. Anyway, she leads me back to the chair. The massage does not work so I asked to switch chairs, the tech tells me none of them massage. There isn't no complimentary drinks as posted.  So now I'm parched and annoyed. But I need these dogs done so I'm like okay, minor setback. It's all good cause she puts the liner in the bowl. I tell her I want the classic pedi with the paraffin dip with regular polish and callus removal. This heffa catches an attitude and tells me what she had planned for me and proceeds to ask why I want regular polish cause it take to long to dry. I want what I want. So no deal. She does absolutely the least in this pedicure. Barely clipped my toenails, used this cheap scrub that hurt more than it soothed, brought out this cheap callus removal tool that didn't do and got more wax in the bowl then she did on my feet. So I'm seething and ready to just pay for this mess and leave but I got plans with bae so I'm like maybe just maybe she won't mess up my nails. Ha! Boy was I wrong. Not only did she cut my finger and made it bleed, she did a rush job on the gel polish that I had to tell her to go over it again because I can see the nail with this watered down gel. She has a major attitude now. I go up to pay and she's like do you have cash for tip? And I'm like nah bruh I don't and I'm not leaving a tip. Everything was fine until the nail tech pulled out a cheap dollar store cheese grater to smooth out the bottom of my feet. If this is a new thing, they need to stop it! I was told by regular nail technician that this is a lazy procedure and it makes the bottom of your feet worse, this is something that IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DONE!!! Classic Pedicure: I had neon orange on my toes when I got the pedicure. When finish I had neon orange still around my toes under my big toes. The lady had to polish my big toe 3x's. So i came yesterday afternoon after work for the first time and it was busy, which is good. But I waited for 30-40 minutes just to get a BASIC manicure and pedicure. The place is beautiful but the wait was crazy. No one asked me if I would like beverage or any others that was waiting as well. It was not enough staff for the amount of people at all. Stopped by  on last Saturday since I needed to shop at Andrews Commissary across the street.  Walked in and was greeted.  Waited about 20minutes so I took my time looking for Gel polish.  They have a very limited selection.  The color I wanted they didn't have.  So the lady worked on my nails and another ladies nails.  She was rough with the drill and I had to tell her to be gentle.  The work are was dirty.  The gel machine that dries the polish was very dirty inside.  Just 2 days I have 3 chipped nails.  Also the lady called me "Boo".  Really not professional nor appropriate. I came in to get a broken nail fixed. There was only one customer getting her nails done, yet there were like 3 people in the salon doing nothing. When the nail technician finally came to me, she struggled with gluing the false nail on. I have never seen a false nail fall off right after it was glued on. After she put the acrylic on, she said it needed to dry. She left, went the bathroom came back and pulled out her phone to start counting her receipts in. At that moment I had enough. NEVER have I been to a nail salon and the technician stops working on my nails to do other business. Worst of all, you have to have 10 to use your card. My ONE nail was $4. Do not go here! I got my nails done at this salon for the first time last week, I got a full set with gel acrylic and one of my nails broke 5 days later. I came in to have it fixed and he tried to charge me $5 for the repair. I refused to pay for the repair I spent $40+ and it didn't even last a week! Made an in person appt with tech the previous day. On the day of my appt the salon seemed semi busy with 2 patrons waiting. I arrived a few mins early and waited an additional 20 mins into my pre-scheduled appointment without explanation or beverage offer (minus one star). The salon is cute, trendy and quaint with slow relaxing r&b music playing. Paint colors vary and selections seemed to be basic. They also offer gel and powder colors. PEDICURE ONLYI came here to try this spot out.  My former nail tech told me she was at this shop some years ago and more recently my wax girl said she gets her nails done by my former nail tech here. I've been in this shopping plaza plenty of times and I have never noticed this shop.  It's very nondescript on the outside, but inside is a newer nail shop that takes some pride on the decor and your experience. A plus!  I came early and was taken right away. Normal set up  of massage chairs, but Paul uses the plastic liners in the pedi bowls which is a trend that I can appreciate.  My tech was aiming to please and was very friendly.  I liked the massage chair as I could actually feel the massage, not just some rumble behind my back making me jiggle, lol.  This chair actually seems tall enough or fit me well as I could feel good pressure down my back, on my shoulders and towards my neck.  Most chairs fall short.  I liked that I got a very neat pedi without the look of taking short cuts.  My tech didn't go too far with continuing the cycle of cutting deep for bad in grown nails on my big toes. They were filed and shaped just howI like. I love peeking at my pretty sparkly polish.I got gel polish with callous remover ($5)-- scrub, i believe, comes as part of the pedi for $45 where I believe I was paying almost $60 at the other place I used to enjoy.  This shop doesn't offer beverages for free or have the expansive color selection like other said shop, but you give and take and will get a good pedi. It was only my first experience, but I will return.Parking is on a private lot; ample parking.They care if you come back! Double plus! Loyalty card/credit.  One point per dollar spent, 200 points accumulated,  $10 service credit given. Something beats nothing.FYI: My sister got her gel fill by one of the nail techs that wasn't my former nail tech or her sister and she was unhappy. I tried this spot because my daughter recommended it and it is a very nice looking shop.. came to get polish change and lashes. I had just had a pedicure the day before at Oasis in Annapolis but I had SNS on my nails  and reg polish on my toes..my toe polish wasn't  an exact match so I found a polish that was...Polish change is $10 which I thought was pricey but hell I wanted it bad enough. The polish job was ok, mot quite as neat as my 1st one but still ok...On to the lashes..something I never really get because it breaks off my natural lashes or they make them too thick.After going over the diff btwn the regular lashes and Eva Lashes, it was suggested that I go with the cheaper lashes based on the look I wanted ( i was willing to pay for the more expensive ones). I thought the finished job was ok..not used to them but once I put my make up on I liked them...the problems came after...Some of the glue is attached to the skin in certain areas of my eyelid and it became painful and inflammed. I've tried everything to remove them...steam, olive oil, vaseline..to no avail. I am wondering if she added nail glue after using lash glue to make them hold longer.  I'm so afraid that I will have NO natural lashes at all in the end. Nothing is softening them up and my lids are breaking out. They're itchy and swollen and I believe my hair folllices are clogged. It's  too painful to even try to pry them off. If anyone has any suggestions or remedy..pleaseUpdate...i was this close to putting Goo Gone on my lashes..however, I used baby oil and my daughter had to pry them off painfully with tweezers to separate the glue from my lids. I feel so much better. I don't  know what the hell she used on these lashes but  I cannot even separate them after  taken them off.You get what you pay for, i willnever go to a nail salon to get my lashes done again. After leaving my dentist, I wanted to get a gel mani and this place was nearby. When I entered I was greeted by a clean shop and friendly techs. The main reason they are getting 2 stars, is because 3 of my nails started chipping only a week after my mani. I get gels all the time, and given my normal routines, my gels usually last well over 2 weeks. This was very disappointing and now i'm already looking to get a new gel done. I came here after I had almost given up on DMV nail salons. But I was so satisfied! Tutu did his thing. He was very neat. He payed attention to detail. I would have given this place more stars but this is the second time I've had an issue with their attitudes, over pricing, and them rushing since new management. The place looks nice but the customer service is horrible. A few weeks ago I got a color change and pedicure and they tried to charge me $66 dollars. Went to Paul's last week only because I was tired of going to random nail salons. Wasn't too optimistic but I had the pleasure of having Paul himself do my nails. I got a acrylic set by him and they were awesome only thing that made me a little sour is he took the drill too close to one of my cuticles and it kept bleeding.
