I went to the salon filled with liquid gel and 2 of my nails were broken and they told me they could be fixed with a new tip. So the woman filled my nails and proceeded to fix my 2 broken nails. She applied the tips sticking straight up and when I mentioned it to her she told me that "it was just my nail". After she filled them all I told her they were much to thick and asked If she could please continue filling them till they were thinner. She told me " thick is better and w...on't break so easy" I said I understand but I don't like them that thick and to please file them down. So after I left my middle finger and thumb nail were completely sticking straight up and a complete different shape then the rest of my nails. Almost 2 hours later just for a fill I went to pay and the sign Said $27 fill , but I bet he'll polish also so It came to $47 PLUS $6 for EACH broken nail. I felt like I was completely over paying and they told me it would be $27... then a $3 fee just to use my card.. so by now I'm frustrated But I left without fuss because I didn't want to cause a scene. After my friend pointed out the nails looked ridiculous i called to ask them to fix my botched nails. They agreed to fix them the next day and when I went in I asked her if she could please take my nails off and redo them. I got a flat out "no" "that's your nail" I replied "thats weird because I have had tips put on before and they have never stuck straight up like this " so she proceeded to just add more gel and make them thicker and worse then they already are. Was told on the phone fill would be 15. So not true. They increased the price for every little thing. It cost six dollars if I wanted them to file my nails!!! It's ridiculous. Nowhere on their price board does it say they charge for filing. They lie to steal more money. Unless you want to throw your money away to these liars, don't come here. Read Less

I have never found a salon that was good with nails and very nice and polite and I go to yaya and I love her. I've been to some salons and I could peel the shellac off withing days but here it last me 4 weeks. I go every few weeks. I recommend it. I just tell yaya to do whatever and she does an amazing job like today. Read Less

I wish I could give more stars but Ive been here twice and wont return. My first manicure was fantastic and the technician did a neat and thorough job, but there was a $3 fee for paying with a debit card that was neither mentioned until time to pay nor listed on the price list. Today I went and while the tech was very nice she was slow and took over 75 mins for a shellac manicure that was only decent. She also asked me to pay before finishing which I thought was unprofessiona...l since there was no worry of dry time since I was doing shellac. She also charged me $3 extra for taking off the shellac I had on already (from their salon!). Also when I first entered the girls greeted me and said I could be taken right away, but then they ignored me talking to each other for the next several minutes; I wouldn't have minded much except 2 other customers came in after me and were finished before my manicure despite having the same type of mani done. Despite having a $5 off special for the day there is alway some unlisted fee they charge you and demand extra pay for basic nail treatments. Not worth it for mediocre service and basic manicures. I haven't patronized a lot of nail salons and I'm a guy, so you might want to make a mental adjustment for that. I have been there several times and have never had a bad experience. I've had pedicures from several different people; all of them were pleasant and professional. I thought Annie and Susan were especially good. I especially appreciated that the salon does not have the overpowering scent of acetone that some others have. Perhaps that varies with how many customers are in the shop. The owners/operators are Vietnamese, so with my hearing loss I sometimes have trouble understanding everything, but we muddle through. I usually call ahead for appointment (that's the way to avoid an hour wait), but the one time I walked in I had to wait no more than minutes. It really shouldn't surprise anyone that if you walk in you might have to wait. I can't address how they apply nail polish, etc., but for a pedicure or a basic manicure they are highly recommended. The shop is in a small shopping center. I've never had a problem with finding a parking spot. Read Less
