I was extremely impressed by my experience here. The staff is friendly and the owner, who worked on my nails, is  meticulous. He spent about 2 hours and the nails turned out perfectly. I am so so so very happy with my nails! The salon was super busy today (because this is such a great salon and everyone comes here!)...but today was particularly busy but they managed to squeeze me in anyway. David does hair only on the weekends but was so gracious to do my nails for me today!! Even as busy as he was, he did an amazing job and is always so kind! When you are with him, he makes you feel very special and cares that you are happy!! This salon was recommended to me by a friend who is very picky about where she goes to get her nails done. I had an incredible experience at DX today. I have tried many nail salons in the area, but DX quickly rose to the top as my favorite.  I got a pedicure on my feet and also SNS nails for my hands. David was so skilled with SNS, and he was a true artist. He puts a lot of love and patience into his work. My nails look so natural and beautiful, and I could not be happier. I was never big on getting my nails done but my friends convinced me to try the SNS Dipping Powder. The color lasts for weeks! I've done it twice now and I love it. In the pic, you'll see that my nails have grown out quite a bit but the color still looks good! (These are my real nails, btw ). I forgot to take a pic of my nails right after getting them done but now you can see how long the color lasts! David has done my nails both times and he's a really nice guy who takes pride in the work he does. Tip: It's cheaper if you pay with cash instead of a card. Read Less

Impossible to relax at this place because you're worrying about getting an infection. No liners in the pedicure tubs and I never saw anyone clean the basin beyond rinsing. I never got to wash my hands during my mani --in fact water wasn't part of the process at all. This is also the kind of place that trims your skin along with your cuticles. Only one hand and foot dryer in the place so be prepared to walk out with Saran wrapped toes. It was my first time here. People were nice but other than that, nothing redeeming about this place. $57 for gel mani and regular pedicure. Read Less

Meh... the plus side is that it doesn't smell of chemicals. But my regular mani felt a bit rushed, though there was no one in the salon. I still have polish on skin, and I'll have to work on some of the filing at home. Tip: bring cash, as there is a $2 addition on cards. I’ve gone twice so far and they did end up looking great but the service itself is enough for me to not go back again. First time I went I picked out a chrome color which was apparently extra $$. The girl ended using black coat and then a glitter like polish on top which did not come out looking anything like the color I had initially picked. She ended up using too many gel coats on me which made it a bit difficult to get it removed the second time I went back. The nail technician at the time had to use the nail drill on my natural nail to take off the gel coats from my first visit. I told her that I felt a sting and pain because she was using the drill on my natural nail, which I’m not even sure if that was the best way to do it. She did apologize but just went on to use it on the rest of my nails. I never thought I’d experience pain at a nail salon. Read Less

I am so impressed by David's work and painstaking attention to nails. He will spend the most time on your nails. He knows how to make fake tips look straight, even and natural. Id recommend making an appointment with him and you won't be disappointed. I'm a very active person who goes to the gym, serves tables at a restaurant, takes hot baths, etc and my SNS nails have never come off. They lasted 21 days before they started to snag things a little at the bottom. I've never done acrylic, but I don't think I ever will after this experience. I've done SNS twice with fake tips with him and it's expensive, but worthwhile. He told me the powder is the best for nails and they still remain healthy underneath. I see them when they took it off and my nails looks pretty happy! So I'm happy! The receptionist is very sweet, and inviting, trying to remember your name. The parking is convenient. Read Less

I've come here twice in the past 5 weeks for SNS powder manicure. It's about $50-55 (without cash tip) and always looks great. It does take at least 50-60 minutes, especially with removal, so make an appointment and leave yourself enough time! (Don't be one of those unkind/grouchy Bethesda ladies griping at them to hurry up... that always makes me cringe). Everyone here is nice!Attached are photos of my nails. I love SNS, and both times it has lasted 6-7 days before any sign of wear:* My first SNS manicure (Dec 22) had one small chip about 6 days in, but it was a light color and not too noticeable. It stayed looking great and largely chip-free for 2 weeks. By the time I returned my nails had grown out and there were a few other small chips, but nothing embarrassing.* My second SNS manicure (Jan 11) came out even better! The color is gorgeous and so shiny - my nails looked so even and clean! What pretty clean lines. Again, no signs of wear for the first week. However, today the clear top layer on one nail is starting to shed (photo attached). I wish for the price this manicure lasted 2-3 weeks.Overall, I think the SNS manicure here is BEAUTIFUL, and definitely worth it. However, I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't stay flawless for at least 2 full weeks. Don't get me wrong - the manicure still looks pretty great for 2.5 to 3 weeks! It just doesn't stay totally perfect. I totally recommend DX Organic Nails - just allow yourself plenty of time, relax, and be nice to/tip the great service! Great experience! Ashley was not afraid to accommodate my design request and the best part was there was zero chemical smell in the salon. People are amazingly friendly and my Dad loved it here. I went with him yesterday and got a pedicure - unfortunately the quality was not as good as I had hoped. The pedicurist gave me a fairly deep cut on one of my cuticles which bled quite heavily. Additionally, the nail polish was applied sloppily around my toenails and not cleaned up afterwards. I came in late about 45 minutes before closing and they still saw me. I got a full set of acrylics and my eye brows done for 43$ they were super friendly and even stayed open after hours for me. This place was awesome. It was the best nail salon that I had ever been to. They have great service with professional technicians. Satisfaction was guaranteed. I got a fill-ins powder gel fro $35. That was a really good price with their five stars service. The nail salon itself was super clean, new and organized. The only thing seems to be the problem to me was that they were always busy. I went into this salon for a quick buzz cut. My normal barber shop was booked, and I needed to get out of town quick. Got a pedicure today. I love it! It felt amazing. My girl did a fantastic job. They are great with designs. The girl said to check Pinterest to see what I would like and she would most likely be able to create it. I picked a cute rose design that I'd seen someone else post on here. I saw really cute designs on the ladies who we're getting their nails done next to me. They were so pretty. It made it hard to stick to the design I chose.
