The pedicure room was so relaxing...they turn off the lights, no one is allowed to make noise, so all you hear is the wall fountain, and relaxing music while you get reflexology and massage. We've been coming here for years and it use to be amazing however they really fell off. We were noticing that our bill was $20 more than what it normally was and we couldn't understand why we asked and of course they made up an excuse inflating the prices. At the time we thought it was odd but it didn't stand out because, again we've been going here for years! Today however was our worst experience by far. My mom and I got the gel mani and pedi combo which the price was originally told to us for 57 but then it jumped up to 77. While my mom was getting her pedi the woman cut her foot and wasn't saying anything or getting my mom a band aid until my mother asked for a band aid stating that her foot was hurting for about the 10th time. The woman then told my mom she wouldn't charge her the additional fee since she cut her, however that was a lie AND when we went to pay he tried to charge us an additional 20! Our gel mani and pedis do not even look professional, they managed to get polis on our fingers. Absolutely ridiculous and such horrible customer service. I received a gift certificate for Christmas for a spa manicure and pedicure. We (my sister, mother and I) called a week ahead (after being told they were booked for an entire week) to make an appointment for a spa pedicure and gel nails. The receptionist said 6:45 was the only time available and we inquired if that was enough time. She assured us that they would finish our nails, but don't accept customers to begin after 8:00. Upon arrival, some of the employees seemed very i...mpatient and rushed like they didn't want to do our nails, and instead wanted to go home, regardless of our appointment. My pedicure was great aside from the fact that the employee's seemed irritated and wanted to go home. (The person doing my mom's nails ran out so fast my mom couldn't even give her a tip and had to leave it with the receptionist) I then went to get gel nails. I got the impression that the lady who did my toes didn't know how to do gel nails as a guy walked out and began to do them. (No biggie) I did not receive a manicure however! He simply chopped all my nails off in a matter of seconds sloppy and crooked, then began go the gel nails. He asked what shape I wanted and then asked if they looked ok. I said I wanted them a bit shorter and he responded with "no they'll be shorter when I file them". So he finishes doing them, and let the girl who did my pedicure take over. He then comes back about a minute later and informs her she's using the wrong drill bit. She was confused and then had to have him show her which one it was. My nails look great besides the fact that my cuticles look awful and they're too long. (The girl doing my nails was sweet and I truly don't care she didn't know) But I never received lotion or oil or anything for a manicure. I then go to pay (I'm not a confrontational person) and I'm charged $28.00 on top of my $50.00 certificate for a mani pedi. (Yes, I also included a tip because I'm the better person) My sister called the next day and asked why I didn't receive a manicure as well as a problem she had with her experience and the owner's response was "well they thought since she got a full set she didn't want a manicure" yet, I paid EXTRA for the gel nails, AND gel polish. I'm angry how overpriced they are. I had a $50 certificate for a mani pedi but only received a pedicure. I could have gone to my normal salon and received a mani, pedi, the full set of gel nails with gel polish for almost as much as I paid for extra WITHOUT a $50.00 gift certificate. Very overpriced, and rude staff. Not outwardly, but so rushed like they didn't want you to be there including the receptionist. My experience sucked but the after math of my appointment sucks worse. Not only did the employee it was illegal to take dead skin off my feet with a certain tool but he also started clipping skin off the sides of my big toes. Like a lot of skin. 1st full set in years. They looked terrible. Like bubble tip nails. Seriously, had treated myself and a friend to nails for the holidays and both of us were disappointed. I am updating my review as they resolved the problem for me. They got me in to fix my nails and now I am in love with them! Ken always does a great job on my nails and I’ll be scheduling appointments with him in the future. He fixed my nails and shaped them perfectly. Thao was great at listening to my concerns and made sure throughout the appointment that everything was going well, which I really appreciated. A whole new set had to be put on and I was told that I may be interrupted due to time restraints but I was not, which was great. I will definitely be coming back in 2 weeks for my fill. After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to come in . But I'm glad I did. I got a spa pedicure and And fill . It was so relaxing and the tan blonde girl who did my pedicure was very personable and made it a very relaxing experience. Will be coming back for sure Read Less

Avoid this place.  There is no consistency here to how a pedicure should be done.  I sat down in a pedicure chare 5 minutes after another lady and was rushed through.  When I protested that my lady was skipping steps, she pretended not to understand English. ..which she knew very well when she was trying to up sell me.  Then a man emerged from the backroom and I nicely explained that my tech had skipped several steps and his argument was everyone does things differently.  When I protested back to stay that my cuticles were not done and she barely used the pumice, he said that I wasn't a nail tech (actually I used to be!).  When I asked to see a license for all the waxing they are doing, I was told he did not have to show me.  Actually, they do and being a nail technician does not give authority to wax...anything!  Feeling flustered, I simply got up and walked out.  He ran after me but stopped when I turned around and told him to stop!  This place rushes the service and has too many novice technicians who probably aren't licensed at all.  These places need to be held accountable like all other salons are. When this place first opened it was awesome, in the last year my experiences have been spotty. Today was the final straw....our 315 pedi appt. Felt extremely rushed. They close at 4, which you could definitely tell. I had called earlier asking if my mom could get an extra massage added to her appt. (Her only, it was her birthday the next day) they said they didn't have time to do that. I get it, we all want to be out at close(we were the last appts)..... but coming from a lo...cal kenosha cosmetologist, you SHOULD do whatever you can to make the customer happy, especially when a customer like my mom, only comes to you guys when she needs her pedi's. I feel like you started off strong, gained a ton of business and now you have lost a customer. This is the least thorough manicure I have ever had. Today was my first visit to this nail salon and the only other salon that I have had a bad experience in is their sister salon, also in the Harford Mall. Came here based on a review from Yelp. They were spot on! I was not rushed. She took her time with my pedicure and gel manicure. First time I've been there and will be back. Excellent at designs.Not gonna lie, had my doubts with it being a nail salon in the mall. But they totally blew my mind!! WORSE PEDI EVER. For $25 all they did was use a small scrubber I have in my own bathroom, rub a little on my legs and the little bit or normal stuff on the toes. I could have done this at home and saved the time/money. They also let you soak for about 1 minute. They had ZERO customers and now I wonder why. I didn't even want to give it one star. Read Less

I get my nails done alot so I know the difference between good nails and bad and this place is horrible !! First of all no one speaks english they try very hard to help you understand but you have to do alot of guessing and even then they do the wrong color or print. Second of all they are expesive and their are alot of hidden fees. Third they are rude they dont even say hi when you sit down they just start doing what they want. And fourth they ignore you !!
