The owner Danny is wonderful. Their front receptionist is very friendly. I have no issues with the some of the staff that they have there as they do an excellent job.Only reason i did not give a full 5 stars is because there have been times that the ladies i had my nails done by where more concerned with their cellphones then giving attention to the customer and the 2 times prior to my last time, staff didn't listen to how i or my daughter wanted our eyebrows and proceeded to screw them up to where other staff members had to come and fix what they could. Came in for a pedicure and specifically asked if they had time for me because I have waited at least 20-30 minutes in the past, but continue to give this place a chance. They took me back and filled cold water then had me sitting back there for 40 minutes without exaggeration, no one came up to me so eventually I asked one of the staff how much longer it would be or if I should leave and she came back with a towel for me to dry my feet because they didn't have time for me- WHY would you tell me you have time when you know you are just going to have a customer waste their time sitting in a chair soaking their feet in cold water for 40 minutes without even coming up to them. Went there about a year ago. They do not use brand name polish unless you specially ask for it. They’re curing lights are under the table and they do not follow any type of standard process. No one talks to you. Theyre very unsociable. Price same as better salons like Lavish Spa day n Fallston which does a fabulous job. Read Less

The scrapper was used on my heel which took off at least 6 layers leaving a HUGE hole. I called the owner to let him know...no return call. I thought he might want to at least know of this issue.. He would NOT return my calls. The receptionist Courtney even knew and saw pictures. Yes I did pay for a mani and pedi, as I walked out still bleeding on my flip flops. This was my favorite salon...sad that the owner never even called me back to apologize or even try to rectify the situation. I guess he is to busy to acknowledge the fact my foot is infected. Went there yesterday after a suggestion from a friend. My normal salon was closed on Sundays and I needed my nails done for pictures. They took me right in with no wait and Tiffany happily got right to work. She was so nice and sweet, I decided for a pedicure as well! The salon is gorgeous and everyone seemed happy and friendly. I love love love this place. Jenny 1 is the best! It's often get busy but if you have an appointment when a person, it would be faster but when it's busy, it's won't always be the time you made the appointment. You might still to wait a little. Everytime I get my pedicure done, I look around and see the nail tech cleaning the pedicure tub when they finish their customers. My nails always look good. They give amazing massages. Read Less

Definitely not happy with my experience today AT ALL. We had an appointment at 2 pm for 3 people and weren't even started on until 2:30. Woman rushed my toes, which now I just seen that my big toe polish has already peeled off some because she didn't put a top coat on the glitter. Then, my nails, aren't the shape I asked for and showed the woman a picture of...not to mention after I paid and walked out, I get to my car to realize my toes and nails are two colors when I asked for the same color for both, so once again I had to have her re polish my nails. The sides of my nails aren't even painted fully. I am PISSED. We drove 45 minutes to come to this salon since I wanted my nails done well for my baby shower and maternity shoot and I will NOT be returning or recommending to anyone. Read Less

Been going here off and on for 1 1/2 years. I went to Lavish today and was very disappointed. They were very busy and I had no appointment. I wanted gel off, pedi and regular mani. I got a seat for my pedi right away but it wasn't very good. Hardly any massage or removal of calluses, then her next appointment came in and she rushed to paint my toes and was done....not good. Then I needed another person to do my nails. I guess because I was just getting a cheap manicure, it didn't matter. The owner, a guy, said he would start to take my gel off. Now more and more people were coming in and they all got someone to work on them. My guy had a support brace on his right hand and could hardly use the tools. I'm not sure he was even supposed to use his arm. Then a girl freed up and she trimmed and filed my nails but in the middle of that he sent her back to do a pedicure (I guess more money than mine) and I was back to the guy. The cuticle removal was poor and I never even got them pushed back with that tool. I don't think he could do that with his arm. Then came the polishing....some of my nails don't have polish on the sides and right now the tips are already coming off. I really should have waited for a girl to get done but I got there at 10:15 and didn't leave til 5 after 12....I was done and frustrated and ready to go. I should have said something or complained but I what can you say. I wasn't even going to write this review but $43. plus u still gave to tip, and I had 2 people to tip....it sure wasn't worth it. Warning - I had been going here as a regular for about a year, manis/pedis. Went here last month for a pedi, and in less than 24 hrs developed painful, swollen blisters all over my feet & my toes were swelling. Had to go to the emergency clinic and a specialist -- I contracted a form of Athlete's foot & possibly an infection, and had to take antibiotics & use a cream for 2 weeks. Called the owner because I was worried that other people had an issue, he was more defensive than apologetic. Horrible business practices! The tech outright refused to file my nails shorter after I told her they were too long and the tops bumpy from her not fileing the acrylic. The manager demanded I pay for the service before she fix them to which when I said ill go elsewhere to get them fixed he locked the door. I kept saying I have no problem paying before they are painted but only after they are filed and fixed. It took me threatening to call the police for him to sit me back down and horribly file them and paint them. Then they tried to bill me $35 for a gel filling when I had only gotten acrylic fill in. Boo!! Lousy customer service to say the very least . Very lame... While waiting to get my SNS manicure and pedicure, I noticed the owner of the salon was nasty and talking very rude to his customers. In my mind, I tried to cut the man some slack. Then he scolded an older woman because she accidentally sat in the wrong pedicure chair. I almost spoke up but I held my tongue. My manicurist, Hannah, barely spoke to me nor did she make any eye contact with me. When I was pa...ying for my services & figuring out my tip, she became impatient and stormed off. She couldn't wait a second. Mr. Unpleasant (the salon owner) had to finish the transaction. I asked for change for a $20, specifically stating that I needed singles in my change. He throws down two $10 bills. When I asked for singles he sneered at me. Unacceptable... When I looked for Hannah so I could tip her (against my better judgement), she was nowhere to be found. Once again Mr. Unpleasant snapped at me, told me to leave it at Hannah's station, and he said that no one would take it. This was the cherry on top for me. I just spent close to $100 at this place and this man thinks it's acceptable to be disrespectful to his customers??!!! Unacceptable... I called him out on his ill behavior. He attributed it to being hungry and not feeling well.. I informed him that it was not a good excuse and it's not what you say, it's how you say it. If he truly didn't feel well, he should have taken the day off. I have been to Lavish Nails previously.. I used to like it there and I certainly had better customer service then. Went there for the first time for mani-pedi it was both fast and reasonable price. The woman who did my nails an excellent job. I had gel and fill on fingers and it was perfect. I went there for the first time today. I was so happy that I found a place that offer the dip power (SNS). When I got there, their color collection was limited so I already know they really don't do this service that much. Then the technician did the process so differently. At first I don't want to judge because everyone might have their own way of doing things. Then finally a lady who I think is the manager came and said that the process was wrong. So I got nervous. At that point my nails where already messed up so I said I feel nervous and that you guys don't know what you are doing so I ask for gel manicure instead. I was so frustrated that they lie and that the manager was trying to teach the technician the process right there and then. Another thing is a lady walked in and ask for the same service. I try to say it loud enough that she knows they do not know what they are doing. The receptionist lied and said yeah they do. My thing is maybe someone there might know what they are doing but instead of giving me that person I was a guiena pig in an experiment. Overall I like my nails but it's not what I ask for, and I settled because they already started on my nails and I was lied to in the process. Don't come here on a weekend!  The manicure you hope to have as an indulgence will feel like anything but.  Avoid the male owner doing your nails, at all costs.  He buzzes about, answering the phone, taking charges, and ushering people to chairs, where you sit and wait.  He has no time to sit and do the manicure, so it's on the installment plan: he files, walks away, files again, walks away.  It's rough and rushed.  Then, after you pick a color, he uses a different one, "same thing", he says.  "Far from it" you say.  Rather than feeling like a spent my $38.00 bucks for a treat, I'm wondering where I can go to get this awful color removed and get a decent re-do.  Ugh!  I will say, during the week and having any of the young ladies there take care of you, is an infinitely better experience. Came and got my nails done this morning at 11am and they're already lifting. Told the receptionist Courtney I wasn't happy with my nails but couldn't stay I had more running around to do. Came back and Julie (the owners wife) says. "We cannot do anything for you, you should've got a new set. Your nail old. She say she ask you and you said no cut down." When I sat in the chair I told her a pink powder fill but If a new set was needed I had no problem with that. I'm still tryi...ng to understand what a cut down has to do with a new set. Also trying to figure out what customer service is in 2017. I've been supporting her and her husbands business since I was 17. I paid $40 today for a two nail fix, fill and clear gel polish. A full set is $45. Why didn't my nail technician tell me to get a full set instead of trying to fix what was there? She did a quick botched job and wanted to move on to more money is why. Unacceptable. Ext: Danny just came and told me he'll fix them for free when I come back the next time. While that's nice and all that should've been the solution from the jump. Not after I went back and forth and his wife trying to make me look like a liar in front of a full nail salon. I'll still be taking my business else where. I have been to many nail salons over the years and i will say that lavish nails is definitely on the top of my list. The interior decor is fabulous. The owner is a great guy he actually does nails too. He doesnt just do the paperwork and collect the money he works just as hard as the other technicians. I went 11/30/2016 and had my nails done for the holidays. Im am in love with my nails. I usually feel like my nails are not feminine and the tech worked wonders and made my nails look fabulous. I love going to this nail salon. Danny does a WONDERFUL job on my nails, and does them EXACTLY how I ask/want. I've been there a few times & have not left there unhappy. They ALWAYS make sure you're happy with your nails, BEFORE you leave. They're even VERY nice to your children, little siblings, kids you babysit, etc. if you bring them in to get their nails painted. It's GORGEOUS inside, and EVERY staff member is very friendly, and they actually have a conversation with you, unlike MOST nail places, they sit there in silence or talking to other nail techs in their language. What's even better? They're open for a little while on Sundays, which is PERFECT for me, cause sometimes o can't make it there on Saturdays or during the week. Dont offer services if you do not know how to properly apply what you offer & stay within a reasonable time for appointment. I made an appt for 10AM for a pedi followed by pink and white gel FILL with Danny. Although the pedi was on time, I waited 45 minutes after the pedi for my nails. When i initially checked on price Danny told me $45 for p/w. I showed him how I have had it done (in NJ) and he said he can do it the same. Not only did he make my nails too narrow and uneven, but started to apply polish on white when I specifically asked about the white in the jar- which then made my nails $55 (for FILLS not a "full set") after he did not want to do it like that b/c he "had no time" (mind you by then people were in for pedi's). After applying MORE gel more drilling the white came out uneven; some white more like a line, others curved- horrible. In total $83 resulting in me now needing to go elsewhere to fix this with only gel color. I get p/w gel (UV gel) is not that popular in this area but dont say you can provide a service and perform it to the way I keep my nails if you cannot. Will not go back- and it was GROSS that the previous clients nail cuttings were still on the table not cleaned up. Read Less
