A breath of fresh air! I am so happy I found this nail bar and it’s so close to home. Shonda is so pleasant and her customer service is phenomenal. Today was my first time being serviced and she made me feel so welcomed. The nail bar is super chic and the environment is so relaxing. My nails and toes are perfect! Such a diverse and peaceful setting. Even her clients whom I have never met before were pleasant. She definitely has a new loyal customer and I already started referring my family and friends. I used to come here just for pedicures , but I started getting full sets . Sometimes my nails would be uneven but I never complained because the pedicures and massages were amazing. Today , I came in to get a fill in for a job interview at 10:43am, and also had to be at work at 12:00pm. An hour later , I still didn't receive service and women that arrived after me received service before I did (without appointments). I was told one of the nail techs (the owner) was almost done with her client.... that was a lie. When I explained to her I've been waiting and needed to get to work she didn't seem to care at all nor did she set me up with an appointment. I've spent hundreds of dollars at this nail shop , but not anymore. I refuse to not be acknowledged or treated fairly. If you love great service , I would recommend not coming here. Read Less

If I could give them no stars, I would. Terrible customer service. Speak little to no English so when I'm trying to explain something to them about my nails they do not understand. The man that did my nails spoke zero English. I do not even know if he has his license to practice. They were completely unprofessional. I told him multiple times I didn't like them and that they look VERY unprofessional. I asked for a gel over lay. He wasn't going to make all my nails the same length until I ASKED HIM TO. What kind of nail salon makes your nails different length if you do not request that. There's a lot of gel piled on my nail so it looks chunky and thick. Of course I still had to pay. They all stood around and looked and my nails and spoke about in another language but no one said anything to me. I had to ask more than twice how much extra gel polish would cost, they just kept talking about what I asked I there language. They did an okay job but didn't do what I asked. I showed her a picture of a manicure in which the lady's nails were squared and I asked her multiple times to make them round. She said okay and then continued. I asked her again and again and then she just said "No this looks fine" and continued. She also did not clean my hands the way most places do. Cost me 31 for a full acrylic set french which is about the only good thing since I've spent more. But I would not recommend to other. Read Less

Terrible.... first time I went ok... this time terrible. Gloppy bumpy polish... didn't do what I showed a picture of which was a simple french manicure with sparkle over top. Not to mention the husband and wife arguing in front of everyone. $40 for something I could have done a better job myself. Can't find a good reasonable place in Parkville.Read Less

Ended up here after being HORRIBLY treated at a shop close by. I left before ever being serviced (yes it was that bad at Nail Bar) the ambiance could definitely use some work, but the service is AWESOME they really made me feel comfortable and did a great job on Both my gel mani and my pedi. The leg massage does rock and the hot towels will keep me coming back. I definitely found a keeper. Oh and did I mention this is like the longest lasting gel mani EVER! Also the prices are super reasonable. What more could a girl ask for? I really only took a star off for the decor it just really needs help and it could be slightly cleaner i was a little put off by the dust on the gel warmer. Read Less

I stopped in to get my eyebrows waxed and I'll NEVER EVER step foot in the establishment again. The girl applied the wax which must have been too hot on the sensitive tissue of my upper lid and not my brow. After she pulled the strip I noticed it felt more painful than any other wax but I figured it had been awhile cause I switched to treading. I looked in the mirror to see that I had the very top layer of my epidermis striped off. And the waxing job was poorly done.  No hair seemed to be removed.  I tried to explain to the girl what she had done but then all of the sudden she could speak or understand english. Another lady came over to see what the issue was but they both acted like I was seeing things. My lip was raw, red and swelling yet they couldn't see it. No other people in the salon cared to inquire or show concern so to avoid getting disrespectful in the shop I paid and left. I told that I didn't want to pay them for their services buy I wasn't gonna come off as I was trying to get over but I will never come back again. I paid $11 for the skin on my eyelid to be burned and stripped. It's still sore and raw even after 10 hours have passed. I can even rub or wipe the area because it is so sore. I hate them. Read Less

I have been going to Zest for several years. I literally have stopped going to other salons because the quality of service and talent just doesn't measure up wherever else I've tried to go. Whenever they do my nails, I always have designs done. They will do freehand designs that always turn out beautiful. I ALWAYS receive compliments on my designs after I have them done. They have recently redesigned the inside to make the nail stations feel like you are sitting at a modernized yet old school diner counter(really is cooler than I am making it sound).
