I asked for Nina, she asked what I needed I told her and asked her how many people she had mind you it was only me and another lady there she said oh I can’t do it I have three people I can get a man to do it, I asked him do they take AMEX and he looked at me like I’m crazy so I take my card out and show him and proceeds to take my card and attempts to run it through the machine mind you he punched whatever he punched in I said oh no give me my card I just want to know if y’all take AMEX he said oh I don’t know I don’t know I asked Nina she gonna say we gotta charge you first I said no that’s ok. Nina's is the Best 💯. She does excellent nails, she also does really good eye lashes. Her pedicure techs does good jobs also and are friendly. Nina herself goes beyond to please her customers and her mother makes you feel right at home 😊. I have been here a few times to get my nails done. I had a good experience and bad experience with long wait. I think too many people come through the doors with nothing to do or selling stuff and they need help with customer service. I called to ask if they had lost and found and the male said no thank you and hung up. When I called back, phone just rung. I was in desperate need to get my eyebrows waxed before an event so I went to the nearest nail salon, which was Nina's. The salon looks very run down and dirty. It's located in a sketchy area in Baltimore city. The woman that waxed my brows did an OK job- my right eyebrow did not match my left. Not sure how the other services like manicures and pedicures are done here, but I personally would not come back to get my eyebrows waxed here again. Read Less

Short and Interesting ^_^This place is literally behind my apartment and it's very convenient for me however, the pedicure is a 6/10. This has been my second or third time here where the nail technician left nail polish around my toes. I mean come on, you should know you have to clean off the extra nail polish. I don't complain since it's only $16 which is a steal. You really get what you pay for with this place. One good thing about the pedicures is that, they spend a lot of time on your calluses for free. Most places scrub and then your done; this place put some type of gel on your foot, scraps the gel off, and then scrub. Which would normally cost $5-6 somewhere else. I might come here again or not. Sigh...Chaotic. Noisy. Dingy carpet with rips across the floor. Uneven ground. Pieces of acrylic nails and other things scattered all over the ground. Dirty. Gross.But I was in desperate need of a mani-pedi and this place was right there. Plus they had the foot spa tubs with massage chairs. I figured I could power through it just this one time.The girl that did my nails was friendly and did a good to okay job on my toes. Okay to meh-ish job on my french manicure. I actually wouldn't mind her doing my nails again...just at a different, CLEANER nail salon.I hate to be FTR and to give Nina's Nails 1-star but for $31, I don't think I'll be desperate enough to come back.
