Nails didn't even last a week. I went here just one time. There was one specific worker at the salon who was very polite and friendly, who did my nails and she is the only reason I've give this salon anything more than 1 star. The rest of the staff were not rude, but not exactly welcoming to me, despite being very nice to two other customers (who were not there for the 1st time). I called the salon prior to going there and asked about their prices. I was told lower prices on the phone for gel nails and then when I actually got there they revealed to me that "one can't have long gel nails, only short" (I don't know if this is true as this was only the 2nd time I've gotten my nails done), and so once I got there I was told that they couldn't give me gel nails for $25, as I was told on the phone, but instead I *had* to get either SNS nails ($40) or acrylic nails ($40 or more). So I opted for SNS nails. The lady who did my nails was very friendly, although not too skilled, the nails were alright but not too good looking, there were gaps between the false nail and the end of my actual nail, two nails were crooked and one nail had a raised bump in the middle due to too much product being applied there. I understand that these are human errors and can be quite common when you get your nails done, however for $40 I don't expect these faults. Moreover, the reason why I won't be going back to this salon again, is that after paying $40 for these nails, they began to loosen within 3 days and 3 nails fell off within 5-6 days. 2 of them fell off while I doing something so basic as trying on a pair of jeans, which is honestly unacceptable. Subsquently, the rest fell off by day 8. For $40 I expected a better result and I expected them to stay on my hands for a minimum of 2 weeks. I've gotten $40 nails before, they looked much better and they lasted for a month and would have lasted longer if I had not gotten them removed. I'm disappointed. If you want to charge such high prices, your nails should stay on for a good period of time. These didn't even last a week. Read Less

This nail salon/spa is very cute and quaint. They offer a spa like experience from the moment you walk in. I was serviced by Mia and Jenny as I received a silk wrap manicure and a pedicure. Both of them were courteous and patient. Mia made sure to explain all my options and price differences based on service. Called ahead and was seated right away to pick colors and such. After 5pm seems like a busy time as they have about 5 technicians in the salon and each tech had a customer. Great experience. Finding a decent mani/pedi place in north Baltimore isn't easy, so I came here based on reviews and was not disappointed.  It was busy when I arrived but I didn't wait long and there were a few men in there, which is good sign that they make the place comfortable for everyone.  They used a hot lotion when massaging my hands and arms and that was awesome. Attentive service, clean and very friendly!I just got my first gel mani from Esther and she was great!! She even took care of my broken nail and applied silk to my nail will look normal and it wont caught on the clothes, desk, etc! I love this nail salon and will be back for more service! Read Less

My regular spot is closed on Mondays, and instead of waiting until tomorrow, I decided to try something new.  Thank you impatient self, i've now found a new regular spot for mani/pedi.  This is a small neighborhood venue that, unless you live in the few blocks surrounding, or looked up nail salons on yelp, would never find it.  Please look!  Im a fan! I feel bad giving them three stars, as this nail salon seems like it's better than most. Comfy chairs, good color selection (though not really for gels) and friendly, calming atmosphere. However, I knocked off points for a few things.1) I walked in and asked if I could have a pedicure and gel manicure done in an hour and a half. They said, "yes," that I would be done and good to go. However, it took about 15 minutes until my pedicure began and the pedicure took a good hour. Since I had gel nails on the begin with, I had to ask them to rush to take off the gel so that I could leave on time2) They then charged me for the gel removal!3) When scrubbing the dead skin cells off of the bottom of my foot, enough skin was scrubbed to cause my foot to bleed. The technician didn't even point it out to me, so I didn't notice until I started walking around and felt some irritation on the bottom of my foot.I'd go back if they had better time management skills. Wonderful clean salon! I have only gone in for mani pedis but they do a great job. They take their time, so it's well worth the patience. The owners are very sweet and all the employees are welcoming. Plus you can get your dry cleaning right next door ;-) Read Less

I moved to the area a few months ago, and live within walking distance.  It's super convenient and last week's pedicure is looking good, but there are some quality & service issues.First time I went for a wax.  Frankly it was the longest, most painstaking waxing experience I can remember.  It took nearly an hour whereas my old place in VA always wrapped things up in less than 10 minutes.  I will say that the results were good however, so I'm sure an eyebrow wax wouldn't be so bad.A few weeks later, I came in for a gel manicure.  Opposite situation of quality of experience vs. result -- it was a really nice manicure, but it started chipping in less than a week.And finally, I went in for a pedicure.  The pedicure itself was fine, nothing special about it.  However being asked to leave when my toes were still wet -- 40 minutes before their 7pm closing time -- was very odd and uncomfortable.  I was the only one there and I guess they decided to head home early, which I can certainly understand under certain circumstances.  But four ladies literally trying to shoo me out when they finished my pedicure 5 minutes before, then asking that I leave in plastic flip flops (I said no, it's 35 degrees and I'm walking home), and finally insisting that I wear plastic wrap under my socks and leave, was very bizarre.  Once I had left, they were still able to leave 30 minutes early.At that point, I was really ready to get out of there because the whole situation was very uncomfortable.  So I walked home with plastic on my feet and a knot in my stomach.  Bad (and probably last) experience. I am one of the worst nail biters I've ever heard of, so every now and then I go for a set of acrylic tips to let the nails underneath grow in. I have never had a manicurist pay so much attention to the details of filing the tips down so that they look perfect--way too often I've had tips that look unfinished or overly fake. Love this place! Mia and her girls are wonderful and all take very good care in what they do. No massage chairs but what you get in return is such a better experience than most other nail places.
