On another level! I drive from Bethesda (an hour) to have my nails done by Johnny. Johnny works from the heart. It's his personal priority to give me EXCEPTIONAL service and QUALITY work. This is one of the best nail salons I've ever been to. So clean and nice. No toxic smells! Both owners are extremely kind and wonderful technicians (no paint on cuticles, no over cut cuticles, etc). They also offer organic polish and lotions. Highly recommend!!!!! Read Less

I'm not sure how this isn't THE most popular nail salon in Annapolis. This salon goes by appointment only, but it was so easy for my mom and I to get in last minute for pedicures earlier today. The appointment-only rule makes the experience so much more enjoyable for both the customer and the employees. You'll most likely be the only ones in the salon and all of the attention will be on you with no rushing. My mom and I got the milk and honey pedicure and it was absolutely amazing! We were taken back to a private pedicure room where the lights were kept low and the technicians were extremely friendly but also quiet when it was time to relax. Every step of the pedicure was done perfectly and the massage at the end was fantastic! If you're tired of being rushed in a loud environment with rude technicians that are talking about you the whole time, this is the place to take your business. If you are looking for new, clean, private, personalized, and more organic options for nails, choose la diva. Pedicure rooms are very private and the product lines are different than the typical Essie or Opi polishes, that you find everywhere else. Owners are licensed, and have several years of experience. This place should be the model for all nail salons! So clean -- all the metal tools are conspicuously in sanitizing machines/being cleaned. The files/scrubbers and such are all brand new and and disposed of each use. Awesome assortment of colors including all the newest OPI options. The owners pride themselves on creating a very tranquil, calm environment and it shows. Wonderful experience overall and great paint job. I have tried many nail salons in Annapolis and Edgewater over the last 18 months but to no avail.  Some have been adequate but never found a place that I would recommend to others. That is until now-I have been spoiled and now can't even think of going to any other nail salon.I got a same day appointment and didn't have to wait when I arrived.  No acrylic smell, no loud chit chat and was a serence spa experience.  Completely sanitary and though I am a bit apprehensive about male techs, Johnny was patient, gentle, kind and made sure it was a great experience.  I can't wait to go back and will definitely be a regular at La Diva Nail Salon. This is by far the best salon i have ever been to. They have private pedicure rooms! I never thought my nails could even look this good. They use organic products and polish. When you first walk into the salon it has such a fresh and clean feel to it. I absolutely love this salon and  i am definitely making this my new place! They don't do acrylics so there isn't any of the chemical fumes, so it smells very clean. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone. Read Less

Had to add this place to yelp just so you all could find it and go! Fiona and Johnny have been around the block in Annapolis, and Fiona has been my nail tech for years. I'm not someone that goes on the regular but every time I do, it's to her. I was SO excited when I found out she and her boyfriend Johnny were opening their own salon and of course I couldn't wait to go. The place is easy to find by their hot pink sign right on the end of West street (near Double T Diner). It's in a tiny strip mall that you may pass going the other direction but their signage is great. Inside, the decor is GORGEOUS. They made it tranquil, clean, and girlie which I love. Bright whites with pops up hot pink. I treated myself to a spa pedicure and gel manicure. They have two or three private rooms for pedicures which is nice if you want to relax on your own or come with a friend as they have the ability to close off the doors, none of that big line of chairs lined up that you have to listen to the women beside you. Fiona is fantastic, taking so much detail in everything. She walked me through everything as she did it. Each pedicure is used with a disposable kit so you do not need to worry about a thing. Almost all of their products are organic, she is experimenting with new products (the gel polish I used was a new Korean line). It was just the perfect pampering afternoon. They offer waxing as well but I did not try this service. Definitely check it out if you're in the need for a nice afternoon to treat yourself! Read Less
