Worst pedicure I have ever had! The man was rough and didn't even help me in and out of the seat. He kept pulling my leg and I had to make him do it over because he couldn't remove all the previous nail polish off my feet. Go see Jenny (she also goes by Kim) and get an SNS manicure. I'd had one previously done at a competing salon and came here with my aunt when it was time to refresh. Jenny took her time and payed close attention to detail. It has been two weeks since my manicure and my nails are strong and healthy and, besides the regrowth, my nails look great and my manicure is in tact. The prices here are better than most salons in the area and Jenny is really nice and good at what she does. Can't wait to go back for another SNS manicure! Read Less

Use to love this place....went out of my to go there. Today everyone sleepy, obviously didn't want to wake up and do the pedicure I asked for. Was cut on my toe and water cold....when I said something the manager lady sleeping in chair seemed annoyed. Never write reviews but now sitting in chair of another spa! Will never go back there. I've been here many times over the years, generally because of the convenient location and because it seems clean. Despite being a 'regular' for years and even having my bridal party get their nails done there, I always feel like my nails are done below standards. I generally end up being cut at some point throughout the process as well, one time my nail was ground so thing that the MIDDLE of my nail bled. This past time when I was back in the area visiting my mom we went to get our nails done here. Everyone immediately recognized me and was very friendly, yet I got a new nail tech...what do you know, 2 of my fingers ended up bleeding...awesome. The man insisted I get gel polish despite the time crunch I made him aware of (he said they'd be faster). It took 25 minutes longer than he said, and he got the polish on my cuticles which means there are now ridges at the back of my nails that catch on everything - hair, cloths, etc. I REALLY wish this place did a better job...The ambiance is nice; however, the pedicure chairs are really starting to show their age and have holes in them. Everyone there is very friendly, helpful and professional. The place is just as clean as you would hope and the decor is relaxing and pleasing.  You can also get your waxing done here. Tried this place for the first time.... Not bad. Elegant nail spa is a low key/ unassuming, mid-level salon, located in a strip mall, off Chinquapin round road. If you're looking for high end aesthetic finishes decor wise, it's not there yet, but they seem to be making small improvements and have a following. Overall, it's relatively quiet during the week, but during weekend expect a wait. Kim did my nails  & I was pleased with her technique, no bumps, smooth and great job shaping- if something needed correcting she did. Tony also seemed to do a great job as well. I pass by this salon everyday after work. I thought to give them a try so after work on a Monday afternoon I decided to check them out.  I usually get gel polish but I wanted to take a break from gel and let my nails breathe so I decided to get a regular French manicure. When I walked in I told the young lady what I wanted and she kept insisting I get gel. When I told her that I wanted just a regular manicure she rolled her eyes and got an attitude with me. I Already had nail polish on my nails however it was chipping so I just asked her for a polish change. There were three other people who worked there in the shop and only one of them had a client. The young lady said something in her language to the other employees and they started to laugh and gave me this rude look  I was very uncomfortable the whole time. She didn't say one word to me  I didn't feel rushed necessarily however she definitely seemed like she wanted to be done with me. After my nails dried I went to check out and the lady who did my nails didn't even acknowledge me mind you there is only one other client in the salon. So needless to say my experience here was disappointing and frustrating and I will not be returning. Read Less

Tony is one of many reasons why I keep going back. Not only is he highly skilled in his craft, but he maintains a kind and warm disposition throughout my manicure session. He is genuine and sincere in his conversation and he'll make you feel like you're the only client in the place. The manicure is Always near perfection! I get the gel nails because it's obviously the most practical, from a financial standpoint. My nails never chip and the color stays beautiful. And I'm in the residential cleaning business! I've been going to Elegant Nails for 6 years and highly recommend them. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. It is well-ventilated, unlike many other salons where the air is unbreathable because of chemical fumes. It's a clean salon which indicates that they take hygiene seriously. I haven't left a yelp review for a long time but I came here and was so impressed that I had to give them a good review to boost their yelp score!I came in first thing on a Sunday morning and was immediately impressed by the friendly prompt service. I don't know what they are like during a busy time, but everyone who came in after me was also helped right away. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure was excellent. I had just gotten one 10 days before that was rather crappy, so I was even more thankful for the technician's thoroughness. She was meticulous with my cuticles and calluses. I have gone to Elegant nails for a few years. I keep returning for several reasons. - Many other salons reek of chemicals. This one does not.- Pedicures last for weeks! - I have had sloppy pedicures in other salons where my toes have been gouged with tools, resulting in nicks and sore toes, never here- I have never had to wait longer than five minutes as a walk-in- Staff is pleasant and professional, and the prices are VERY competitiveI have never had a bad experience here. So I'm giving them 2 stars because they were friendly and the salon was nice.  My friend and I both had mani/pedis and were very disappointed with the results.  For the pricing, which is on the higher side, it was not worth it.  Our nails look like they were painted by kindergarteners...I did have my eyebrows threaded and they look really good, but since we went in hoping for pretty fingernails and toenails I'm still not impressed and won't be going back.
