Shady shady shady!!! Brought my 12 year old daughter for a manicure and when I wasnt there, they UPSOLD her on extras. A 12 year old girl is not responsible for making buying decisions. This place exuded relaxation. Every time I'm in the Slidell area I will be coming here. One thing that I don't like is that they are very pricey and they nickel and dime everything, everything is an up charge or can be added for a fee. When I arrived I signed in on a HUGE iPad and even though it was packed, I was called for my services within 5 minutes. I sat in the pedicure chair for about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. When the nail tech did come, she offered me a beverage and was very friendly and upbeat. I took one star away for the price and feeling like every single thing would cost me more money. I was torn on what to rate Bellagio but settled on a 3/5 because having to wait an hour on a Friday at 1pm is just a no in my book. I was offered a beverage which was nice, and I saw some women drinking wine which was even nicer (if its complimentary). They have a large selection of gel colors. The place seemed clean. The staff all seemed to be chit chatting it up with the clients and I liked that a lot. HOWEVER... my nails were meh. Nothing out of the ordinary considering the price I had to pay. I have been going here for a few months now and have been very pleased with it all the way around. The employees are always nice and usually offer a drink. Sometimes they are pretty busy and can take a little bit to get to you, but that should be a good sign that that many people are going there. Lots of nail colors and services to choose from. This nail salon is awful. I walked in and the girl working there yelled at me to sign in multiple times and I obviously didn't know what she was referring to until she pointed and someone came up to help instead. I told her that I just needed the gel off my nails and nothing else. They sat me down and left me there for 10 minutes. Then a lady came up to me asking if the little paper with my name on it was me. I said yes and she started on my nails. I told her that I needed the glue off of my right index finger. She looked at it and then did nothing about it. Large, clean nail salon located in the newly constructed Fremaux center. The staff is always courteous and does a great job. I typically get gel nails, but during my last visit, I tried the powder dip nails. They looked beautiful, but a week later they started cracking underneath the top layer. I come here because of convenience but they never have to worry about me coming back! I got my nails done on a Monday and paid $25 for a gel polish change. The entire nail of polish came off and they refused to fix it because I didn't get a manicure! It's already overpriced and not worth it. I've been here several times but the service is going down.  Today I was seated for a pedicure.  I put my feet in to soak and it was over 30 minutes before anyone came to do my pedicure.   Needless to say this set a bad tone from the start. The water I was soaking in got cold (so I took my feet out) very quickly.  They throw your shoes on top of the other or in top if other people's shoes. I'm not crazy about the dirty bottom of one shoe sitting on top of my other!  I've mentioned this before.  I guess it's not communicated to the staff?The lady who did my pedicure corrected me to not pick at my nails; I found that insulting and rude.  So I just closed my eyes and tilted my head back.  When I opened them I saw that the four air exchanges in the ceiling were filthy; I doubt the filters have been changed.  You are offered something to drink, a nice touch.  This just wasn't a good experience today.  And, it's clear they were short staffed.  I was disappointed in the service but was happy with the pedicure. Paying for disappointment. I wish I could rate with negative stars. I've been there numerous time and I've only been pleased like twice. But I just figured it was a bad day. But the last time I went I got acrylic nails painted nude. But the color was not nude, it was white. So I had to call the store numerous time in order to get in touch with the manager. Then all of the emplotees and manager fought with me over the color and the roughness until I pull out a piece of paper to show them and nearly scratched one with the jaggedness. This time I went to get acrylics because they were the only place with the color I wanted since it was gel. They didn't have the color so after not being able to find a similar color I asked the lady doing my nails if there was a similar color in regular nail polishes and she told me no and that it was a special color. So I took the wheel of gel nails and brought it up front and found the EXACT color in regular polish. She wanted me to spend extra money for unhappiness with my color is my best guess. But so she cut my nails again because she didn't shape them correctly. But I didn't notice how short until I got my hand back after painting. But the lady had gotten someone else to paint my nails because she was annoyed with me or something at that point. So then once I can FINALLY see my hand the nails were literally the same length as my normal nails. Then I go ask the receptionist what do I do if now after I can finally see me hand and I see that they cut the nails way too short when they painted them and she said she'd go speak with the lady who did it. So the lady comes up to me and says that it isn't her fault that they were like that and that she didn't file them after the original cutting of the acrylics. Not true because she shaped them wrong and had to file them down much more which I couldn't really see. Then told me that she'd re do them but charge me again. She was going to charge me to fix her mistakes. Um no. So I left the store and then called the store once I got home to speak with a manager. I was told after 6 minutes on hold that she was not there. I will be calling back this afternoon to speak with her. Read Less

Very swanky place. Very clean..... but be ready to shell out some serious cash to get any service done here! Upcharge is the name of their game here. BEWARE!!I've searched high and low around for a decent nail spa that offers what my "home" nail salon does in TX. I got the classic pedicure and a full set of dipped nails.Pedicure was exactly as you expect, no frills there, but I also didn't pay the extra cash to get frills. I also got a full set of dipped acrylic nails. Which was $5 more than I'm used to paying (at a comparable salon) which was fine (I guess). However, it's extra if you want ANYTHING else. Want to keep them a little long? $5. Want that cute shape? $5One nail different color/design? $5+They even have nice little signs all over for the "extra services" you can add on... extra massage $12... etc.While I understand that it's perfectly acceptable to pay for extra services... but to file my nail into a different shape? Really? When you'll already be filing them anyway? And it wasn't even done right!! I still went home and filed them myself into the shape I wanted. (For the record I wanted a little more of a rounded-less square tip. Not even that crazy...)I certainly do not mind paying extra for services that are above and beyond, this place starts expensive and you will be Nickle-&-Dimed to death if you don't watch out. Nice and clean on the inside. The staff barely said a word to me during my entire service which was awkward. They have a good polish selection but services are overpriced compared to other salons. My gel polish came out pretty nice but my feet are still hard on the bottom/full of dead skin after the pedicure. A basic pedicure should remove the dead skin; there is no reason to pay extra for the minimum. I'd go back for a refill on my gel/acrylic but definitely not for anything more... And they serve wine. Came in and was sat immediately. They put my hands in acetone to soak off my sns powder. I waited 20 minutes and no one came. I took my hands out and said I would have to come back the next day because it was taking too long. The woman told me to wait and I was next. I waited another 25 minutes and finally went to the counter and told them I had to go. I offered to pay the $5 soak off fee and was told it was $10 not $5. I was charged $10 for my hands to soak in acetone while the forgot about me for 45 minutes. Very disappointed. I understand a business being busy. My Daughter & her friend had their nails down a week ago and all came off after a few days and my daughter's friend's cuticles were vey red and bleeding slightly. Very Disappointed and certainly will not be using again. Great clean salon and spa. They offer everything! The staff is super! My nails look great! They do a great job, best salon I have been to in Slidell. It is a little more expensive but they use quality products and have a great section of gel polish! Avery was so sweet and made sure I was taken care of and happy!  This was such a wonderful experience that this will stay my salon in Slidell:)I had another manicure with Gel and I wasn't happy with it, it was quickly and nicely redone. I felt bad because they didn't see what I seen. It's 4 days later and it's starting to peal and looks bad I'm not going back again, even though they were nice I felt bad!
