I LOVE this place and the people that work there. I have had the most amazing massages and ALL the staff is so welcoming and friendly. If I could give negative stars I'd give -10 it was that bad went in with a part of 4 for a bachelorette party cause the bride is pregnant. The spa was clean the people in the front were nice I was the first to show up&&was taken to the back to start my nails that's when everything went wrong. As I was trying to meet the other people in my party I was being rushed back to my chair. The bride to be had the prenatal massage which she loved the rest of us had such a hard time with our nail techs. I got a solar full set when she asked how long I wanted it she first did it to short I asked for it to be a little longer I mean why get fake nails shorter than your real nails. She then does it was to long while talking about me to the other workers if I wasn't with others I would have just left. Not only did they split us up they got mad that we talked across the room I mean I did book a spa party so you would think they would have had us close together. What made me so pissed off was my nail technician keep taking about how long my nails were I'm sorry she miss understood me. She made a comment about how her sister does "nails like this outside not here here we don't do like this" way after the fact that she did the and was just about to finish. She also showed the lady next to me who was getting her nails done and who was a regular customer she then proceeded to say yeah that's too long so now I have 2 workers and a customer talking about me. I'm grinding my teeth trying not to say anything cause I don't want it to ruin my friends party. So she finishes and leaves doesn't even say thank you or offer to make another appointment not like I planned to come back but she treated me as if I was ghetto or something. So I walk over to my friends and wait for them to finish about 20 my nail tech still hasn't come back to check if I was alright but this point I'm just ready to leave. So as I'm go up to the front to pay I leave her $5 I really didn't want to tip her but I worked for tips so I know how it feels not to get one. My bill is $350 I'm like WTF my original price was $270 I knew there would be add ons and maybe taxes but $80 more crazy. I just want to pay my bill and leave cause I still had a bridal shower dinner to get ready for at 6 and it was already 3. So at the dinner I get a text from my bank say they took $80 out of my account which was the cost of the service that the other 2 girls who couldn't make it. Which makes me furious cause even if those 2 girls didn't show we still used their services. So now I paid $430 for an hour prenatal massage 2 manicures 2 pedicures and 1 solar full set RIP OFF. This company is so disgusting please don't waste your time or money her go elsewhere I wasn't going to do a review I was just going to tell everyone I know personally. But after they did some shady stuff like this I had to let people know I created an account just to write this review so what does that tell you. Read Less

Received an AMAZING facial by Samantha at the Ashley Ridge location! I'm an esthetician myself, and have had a ton of facials by various estheticians. She was by far the best! She has a great touch and left my skin GLOWING!! Totally worth the price. Read Less

This is a great relaxing spa/salon in the middle of pretty much nothing. A treat if you are used to being in a bigger city. Came for my boyfriends birthday and got the couples massage with add on facials for us both, lunch and spa pedicures. Massage was very relaxing and quality of massage therapist was high. She knew the perfect pressure and movements to induce total relaxation. (I also just appreciate the extra aroma therapy, hot towels, extra pillows, heat warming table, candles, dimmed lights, and peaceful music)!Then the esthetician came in after about 15 minutes and washed and cleansed my face. Then applied a gel mask for about 10 minutes followed by a scalp massage (your choice between hands or foot and calf). I could have used a bit more touch up, looking at my skin type etc which is why I give this place only 4 out of 5 stars.They then led us into a back room for mimosas, lunch and spa pedicures. Great spot to relax and enjoy the company of a loved one. Recommend especially to couples. Read Less

I have been going here for 4 years, and after the experience I had today I will never return. I paid over $50 for a spa pedicure and the polish started chipping after only 5 days. Anyone who has ever gotten a pedicure knows that the polish shouldn't chip after only 5 days especially when you always wear open toed shoes so the polish is never rubbing on anything. I've also never had this issue before. Then, they gave me a hard time about having it fixed even after I said I would pay for the nail repair. It seemed to me that the nail techs just didn't want to waste their time on only a $4 nail repair service. The customer service I received today was horrible. I am incredibly disappointed in the entire experience so I'll find somewhere else to get a pedicure from now on. Don't waste your money here!! Read Less

I am very displeased with my experience here. I asked the stylist to keep my hair as long as possible and he cut it extremely short. When I told him this (politely) afterwards, he did not even apologize. He obviously cut it how he thought it would look best, rather than doing what I had asked for.Also, I agree with the comment below that the customer service is lacking for an Aveda salon. They didn't even offer me water when I was waiting. I certainly will not return. Read Less

I have been searching for a salon for years. I have gone to several stylist and have never been satisfied but just lived with it. My friend told me about spa concepts and how it was an Aveda spa. I used to use aveda years ago and loved it. My experience in the salon was refreshing. It's been a long time since anyone has sat me down and talked to me about my hair. She wasn't in a hurry and made me feel like I was the only person that mattered. The staff in the salon worked so well as a team. I left with lots of knowledge, not only about aveda products but about hair in general. I will refer everyone here. I read the review before me and was suprised at everything she said. My experience was the complete opposite and I've been to many upscale spas. I will never go anywhere else. Read Less

Just moved here and visited the spa "blindly", as I don't know where to go. My stylist (Brandi) was dressed so sloppy, her jeans were frayed and dragging on the floor. She chomped on her gum (right in my ear) the entire time. She gossiped, by yelling across the room (also in my ear) about a Shreveport business owner cheating on his wife. I also had to listen to concerns about her next client being made to wait 45 minutes for his appointment because the staff told him to arrive early. She left me sitting there to go talk to this next client. Other clients were offered a drink, I never was. I'm eight months pregnant (very obviously). Manners would dictate that a drink would be offered. The entire salon had a juvenile, "mall rat" feel. Brandi made no attempt to talk to me. She was much to busy talking to the other staff about affairs, crawfish poop (not kidding!) and complaining about the scheduling staff. This was a very uncomfortable and bad experience. You are supposed to be able to relax at a salon. I was so relieved to leave! I won't be back. Read Less

I went there for four hours as a gift from my husband for our anniversay. I received acrylic nails, pedicure, lunch from Zocolo's, hour message, aqua body polish, steam capsule, scalp message, showered and washed my hair then was rubbed down with a beautifying lotion. I then had my hair blowed dry. This is a great place with wonderful atmosphere. The employees are nice and attentive. The only reason I rated it as 4 is because when I called they should have told me what I needed to bring or not to bring and I didn't know I would be taking a shower and washing my hair. They should let their clients know what to expect when going to the spa for the package they have bought. I highly recommended this place and am going to try out their hair salon at Bellemeade.
