Couldn't recommend this place more!! I found the salon on the internet while visiting from out of town and it may be the highlight of my trip. Honestly guys, if you want fabulous nails and all the banter, then polished is the place for you! Ruth managed to fit me in for gel nails when I booked a last minute holiday and now I'm hooked. My nails have never looked so good. As someone who is rough on their hands, I was really shocked at how long my gel manicure lasted and how great it held up through all the bike repair and dishes and other hands on activities I partook in over the few weeks after I got my nails done. This atmosphere is so nice and relaxing and I love having a mimosa during the manicure. Staff is very friendly, I am super indecisive with my color choices and they patiently and sweetly walked me through the look book and offered options until I finally settled on what I wanted. They had me at rosé. I walked in the door and was greeted with a glass of rosé. Gorgeous salon with an amazing, friendly staff. And my nails..... OMG I can't stop staring. Hands down best nail salon I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel welcome and at home. The atmosphere is chic, modern, funky and cool. It is nice to have such a fun space to get your nails done. I like to go with a friend and make an experience of it on the days when I have the time. I love going through their book and picking out my art. I purchased the shellac polish change pack, which I recommend! These ladies go out of their way to stay professional at all times, keeping the focus on you and your manicure rather than chatting among themselves. *Polish selection: Both regular and gel polish have a wide range of hip and current colors and the best unique nail designs. Was drawn into this beautiful space on a Monday & they were actually closed, the owners just happened to be there and gave us the low-down. This stylish space is specializing in nail art mani's with a fun book of styles to chose from! We booked for the following morning. The decor is adorable, I loved the bright wallpaper and splashes of metallic. While getting my gel removed, I was offered wine or champagne which started my day off right. My technician was named Chrissy and she was great from the start. She was so friendly and knowledgeable and made the manicure feel like a real treat. I chose a design from their new collection: rosé all day. I loved the outcome and have already fielded quite a few compliments. Chrissy was friendly, careful and creative, if I lived in New Orleans, I would definitely return for her infectious personality and talent! Did not even know I needed this cute little salon and now I can't imagine going on without it. The studio is beyond gorgeous and the staff and technicians are friendly and skilled! I was greeted with a glass of bubbly and my technician walked me over to the bar area to help me pick a gel design and color palette before getting to work. She was incredibly detail oriented and it paid off! I am not easy on my nails and it is still in good shape almost a month later (still getting compliments!). Adorable new nail salon. Felt like family as soon as I walked in. They took their time to explain everything as they're a new shop. Very generous w the booze haha (they're obviously fitting right in to New Orleans). Sometimes I hate asking nail techs for designs cause I'm not sure if it's extra, if they have time for it, if they're annoyed - this takes care of the issue right up front. I came to New Orleans with a group of friends for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Our afternoon at Paint'd was the PERFECT way to kick off the vaca! The staff is so friendly and cool, and the salon has a great ambience- there is fun bright wall paper everywhere, comfy chairs.. super chic. Decided to go ombré had dark or red hair all my life and came across polished's fb page and seen all these lovely transformations so decided I was gonna go for it.
