Mia was recommended for a men's hair cut to me by a family friend and it was awesome.  The place is inviting.The staff is so friendly; i was offered a water; many smiles and relaxed atmosphere.Cassidy cut my hair, she asked me good questions to meet my needs and continued to check in with me throughout the service. This place was so great! I was waiting to post a review to see how long my gel manicure lasted and what condition my nails were in once it came off. Took off the gel yesterday and it came right off! This manicure and pedicure were probably the best I've received. And the products were great. I used opi regular on my feet and gel on my hands. My friend and I walked in without appointments for manicures. We were in town on business. They were very accommodating. We were seated and offered champagne or other complimentary beverages and were able to get our manicures right away. Mia Bella is a beautiful space with very friendly staff. Super relaxing - great spot. Very clean and the service was fantastic. I was a walk-in and accepted even before they opened by the owner who took excellent care of my very gnarly nails and toes! Great conversation and a fabulous gel mani and pedicure. If I ever come back, I'll for sure hit up this spot for a little more pampering. My mom and I went here last week to get our nails done for my wedding. Our lunch was going  a little long, so we called to say we were running a little late. They told us we might just have to shorten our service because they had appointments booked right after us. We ended up only getting there 10 minutes late, so I figured, especially with them knowing that it was for a special occasion, that they'd still give us the service we requested. Instead they offered us a shorter service that still cost the same amount...so we took that, just wanting to have a fun mother daughter experience. The two ladies who did our mani pedis were really nice and they had a lot of nail polishes to choose from. The whole service took about 2 hours. When we were finished it turned out they didn't have any appointments after us, because one of the ladies doing our nails walked out before we even left the salon, so I guess they just wanted to end their shift on time. I've worked in customer service and can't imagine thinking that's ok, especially at a high end nail salon. On top of all of that, the gel manicure didn't even last a week. We had a fine time getting our nails done, but I would definitely not go back or recommend it to anyone. Read Less

Booked a wedding party (8) for mani/pedi and we couldn't have enjoyed it more! Mia was great to work with and made the reservation process a piece of cake! She was very accommodating and added another girl to our group even after I gave her an incorrect head count. Her employees were all so sweet and personable. The chairs are unbelievably comfortable and the mimosas were a nice cure for that Frenchman Street hangover. If you need a minute to yourself or the entire salon for your girls, call MIA! Kelly LeBlanc did an outstanding job with my brows. They had gotten out of control, and Kelly took her time and reshaped them beautifully. The service was a tremendous value at $20. Highly recommend. I made an appt for my bridesmaids and myself to get our nails done and everything about the experience was perfect. We had the entire place to ourselves (which was at 2p on a Thursday so that doesn't speak to whether this place is popular or not, just saying it's a great wedding bonding spot), they offered us drinks, and it was a nice relaxing place to get ready before the crazy wedding weekend started. They have the biggest selection of gel polish I've ever seen. Plus there's a ton of street parking right out front. They did such a phenomenal job that my nails lasted almost 5 weeks!  Although quite grown out, haha, I wasn't ready to take my wedding nails off.  Sad face.  If you're looking for a place to do your wedding nails, this is the spot. I get waxed her and the woman is so, so sweet. I'm very picky about who and where I get waxed, and this salon met those standards the first time I went. They are very clean, nice, and accommodating. She chose to still use hard wax on my face because I used retinae a month ago, and I really appreciated that she wanted to use it just in case. She really cares about doing a great job and making sure you're comfortable! I will get waxed here as long as I am in nola. I cannot reiterate enough how wonderful the woman who does waxes is. She does a great job, and I really trust her. That can be hard to come by!I'm hoping to get the chance to get a manicure/pedicure there soon, but as of now my only experience is with waxing. Ok, this place is amazing! My first services were a manicure and pedicure. Danielle did an awesome job, but watching the other technicians, I could tell each of them were awesome! Today, I returned for a facial.. let me tell you how picky I am about my skin & face, & that the same person has done my facials for the last 4 years, but I've moved so I had to find someone local. Kelly is a jewel! She understood and was not intimidated by me asking questions and already knowing what worked best for my skin! She simply applied her expertise and was extra gentle as she knew I was already quite nervous about having anyone else touch my skin! Can't say enough great things about it! I love coming to Mia Bella!  The staff is really professional and the space is clean and calming.  Jorden is amazing and does a perfect job with my nails every time.  Plus she is super personable and hilarious!  I get gel manicures, and the color stays put for weeks.  I even followed her from another salon.  She is the best.I've also had a bikini wax by Kelly (I'm talking full on if you know what I mean), who was SO nice.  She did a great job making me feel comfortable a potentially awkward situation.  And to be honest, it wasn't even that painful! I can't say enough great things about this salon. I went in with a hair disaster the day of the Marine Corps Ball. I'm not from NOLA, so I had no idea where to go for a simple updo. I really mean simple; like literally a chignon. So I went to A different salon and that ended up being a mistake. We got back to our hotel, and the concierge recommended Mia Bella. He called and we told them my story, and guess what? They saw me right then and there. Like 2 hours before the ball started. Thank God for this beautiful place, because not only did she fix my hair, but she did it in 30 min if not less. As a man who spends a lot of time in beauty salons, I can tell you that this place is as fine as fine gets. The people are amazing, the work is incredible, and the atmosphere is perfection.Okay, I have actually never been in a salon to have anything done before I came to Mia Bella Beauty Lounge. A very good friend of mine in NOLA told me that I needed to get a mani/pedi and that I needed to go to Mia and her crew. So I did. Jorden was awesome!
