I live right down the street from this nail salon so I've been here a few times when in need of a full set / mani in a hurry. Let me tell you right now-- I will never return. I'd rather stick ons from Walgreens than go through the trouble. The first mani I got at this salon was years ago, around six or seven. They charged me $30 for a regular, not special in any way full set regardless of their written price of $20.00, which is standard. The woman said it was because my nails were shorter than average(I filed them to the tips of my fingers). Not only did she overcharge me; she didn't tell me she was doing so until AFTER the nails were applied. Faced with the choice of eating the new cost or walking around with talons, I sucked it up and I paid. I have never, ever in my life been charged so much just because my nails were short. Wtf? Whatever. Few years later, I need a last minute mani for a wedding. Nothing special again, just a full set. Every place I went was extremely busy and I only had three hours to get to this wedding. Their parking lot was empty, so I said whatever, I went in. Same woman gave me shit the entire time. She charged me in the end a total of $45.00 and this time was like the last; did not inform me until the nails were applied. My nails weren't long, $5. I wanted a white tip, $5. I wanted them to be longer than my natural nails, $5. I can't even remember half the crap she was charging me for. Not only am I being financially raped for a standard manicure, I'm being bullied the entire time! She ARGUED WITH ME about the fact that I did not want short nails. She ARGUED ME DOWN over me not wanting the entire nail painted. She was rough, mean, and extremely pushy. My nails weren't gel. They weren't airbrushed. It was just an acrylic set, with cheap polish, whoopty do, I've gone to numerous other places and it's only twenty bucks so what on earth could an acrylic set I can apply myself cost $45 dollars for? In this case you could say it was a French, but that's only what, $30?? Come on.I can only assume she hates me. Whatever the case may be, I'll never go back and I will tell others to avoid this salon. It's just rude. It's not like I didn't tip, I consider myself a well-mannered, polite individual, so I'm at a loss here as to why this woman doesn't want my business. The nails were crooked and the paint was applied unevenly anyways. It is what it is. Read Less
