I came here because my usual place happened to close early for a family emergency . They aren't super friendly, but the lady that did my nails had more personality. She assisted me picking out a color I liked and did a really good job scrubbing my feet and cleaning my cuticles. I asked her to cut my nails short since they grow so fast , one nail is a little uncomfortable, but it will grow in the next couple of days. Good selection of shellac colors. First time visiting this shop and it was AWFUL!!!!!! The man that serviced me had a sucky ass attitude! After I told him the polish was too thick he  became rude. Then Made me feel as if I was bothering them. 1 of the girls just pointed to things rather than speaking to Me like a human being! I have went to this nail shop consistently for 2 months now, I had a great experience my 1st time but each time I continued to go the attitude and the feeling of being rushed got worse. I would call to make an appointment being I can't get there until after work only to have an attitude responded back because I was coming for 6 and they close for 7. I'm honestly appalled by the response I was given as if I need to go to this shop. When said don't worry about it they hung up on me. I will not step foot back in there. I love Nola Nails. I came here before my wedding with my 4 bridesmaids who all wanted different manicures and we all were VERY happy with our services. Our pedicures were wonderful and our manicures all came out perfectly.I've been going back every 2 weeks for my refill and every time I've gone to them, I've been in and out in about 30 minutes. The staff is very sweet, but Ms. Lan is my favorite! She is always on the ball and KNOWS what to do with acrylics!Also, after checking around and speaking with other women in the area, I've come to the conclusion that their prices are very reasonable, and even on the "cheaper" side. I do definitely recommend calling in advance to set up an appointment, as they stay pretty busy. That being said, if I call in the morning, 9 out of 10 times they can see me by that afternoon. No problem; I arrived to my appointment time and Tina was able to accommodate me immediately. She gave me the best pedicure a ticklish person could ask for, as well as great tips on how to better care for my nails. (I'm a nail biter seeking recovery from a bad habit.) Convenient location, beautiful shop, lots of polishes, but I didn't make an appointment and I feel that's why my nail technician was rude. She told me there may not be enough time to do gel polish. I usually get gel but was fine with regular polish. It was an awkward and unfriendly experience. I must say, one of my least favorite things to do is get my nails done. Reason is because it is sooooo time consuming. I have sooooo many other tasks to do. (2 hours!!) BUT this experience was a great one. There wasn't a wait (on a Friday), service was great, they were very considerate of your time, and my nails came out fabulous!!! This place is easily five stars to me despite that it's always packed. But hey, they are clearly doing a lot of things right to keep it that way. The staff is incredibly friendly and conversational, the service is fabulous, and they have TONS of colors to choose from! They will always try to accommodate walk-ins but definitely try to make an appointment beforehand to make sure everything goes smoothly. I tried to come here in the past but they were totally booked and I would have had to wait 45 minutes so I ended up going somewhere else instead. However, after seeing such great reviews, I decided to give it a try early on a Saturday morning and they were able to squeeze me in, but not easily. In the future, I will definitely remember to make an appointment first.They are open on Sunday's which is pretty unique of nail salons. I like the salt scrub they use for their pedicures and the fact they do a great buffing job to remove ALL the dead dry skin on your feet. I came in with horribly dry and dilapidated feet after working all day at an outdoor zoo event that consisted of me chasing after children in flip flops, but after they were done they were pretty, smooth and as good as new again!
