Walked over to L’Amour on a whim after dropping my car off at Auto Elite to install a trailer hitch (will review them next). I saw the great reviews for the nail spa and decided to stop in. The place is very clean and relaxing. The tools come from a new unopened package. Emma did my pedicure, eyebrow wax, and nails. She was very sweet and friendly and helped to suggest just the right colors. They also provide complimentary beverages which really helps to make you feel pampered. This is the best pedicure I’ve ever had. My nail tech paid incredible attention to detail and was so gentle. I live in Baton Rouge, but I’d drive back to get a pedicure here! L’amour Nail & Spa had not made me disappointed for 4 months now. That's really beauty nails! I wasn't to wait even they were busing. Whole of the technician was ultra kind and lovely girls. Recently, I came to L'amour Nails and Spa for a gel manicure. Wonderful place- brand new. They brought to me a bottle of water. They were always so nice and accommodating. And I really felt like they cared about me having a great experience. The ambiance is always extremely quiet. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! ! Hands down this was my BEST nail shop experience! So, I came on a Sunday (which FYI is awesome). I got there early, because I learned from last Sunday that they pick up fast. Two other women had the same idea as me, the girl who opens the shop everyday (who is such a sweetheart and I wish I would have remembered her name) let us in about 10 mins early so we could pick colors and cool off from this SUPER hot summer heat. When 11 o'clock hit, the nail techs came in and they immediately started helping everyone who was sitting down at stations. I got Ana, she was AMAZING. I explained to her what I wanted to and she listened shaped my nails exactly to my liking. I will make sure my next nails session is with her, but on a Sunday since that is the only day she works. The shop is very clean and it has a very nice feel to it. They have the nice spa music playing, very relaxing. The have water and sodas which is good when you coming from a hot day. Their prices are pretty affordable, and the quality was good so no complaints here. I would defiantly suggest this nail shop to anyone. One of the techs was saying that Sunday was their most busiest day, busier than Friday and Saturday. So, I would suggest that if you do go on Sunday try to get there a little before 11. Read Less

This is the first time I’ve come to L'amour Nails and Spa in Metairie because I saw my coworker's taupe/gray manicure and she knew I wanted the same. She said she went to L'amour Nails and Spa, and I knew I had to check it out. I called ahead,and they were able to take me on the same day for a shellac manicure. I was lucky enough to have she do my shellac manicure and it was absolutely perfect. She was incredibly sweet, adeptly skilled, and her attention to detail impeccable. I'm not really one to get their nails done on a regular basis, but they might have convinced me. I needed my nails done pronto for our engagement pictures. I originally was going to get a standard manicure. I mentioned how clumsy and rough on my hands I am and the manicurist recommended I get a gel manicure. I live by the philosophy of listen to the professional. I'm glad I did. My nails look like an adult lady's should. So wonderful. I probably still won't do it all the time, but when the mood hits. Pedicure only review .. I don't do nails. Don't let the outside of this place and it being in a strip mall fool you. Go check it out. It's nicer than you think. They are open on Mondays, serve complimentary wine and beer, but they don't take appointments. I had to wait about 20 minutes on a Monday but the atmosphere is nice and the technician was thorough. The mid level pedicure included hot stones which was divine. It was a great relaxing experience and my pedicure lasted about 2-3 weeks. If they took appointments this would be 5 stars! Side note they have those cute kid chairs and pedicure packages that come with ice cream or hot coco. So cute. Read Less

This is my new favorite nail salon. The service is excellent! They offer you different drinks, including wine.The pedicure lasts for at least 4 weeks, and the last time my regular manicure lasted 1 week!!!It is a very clean place.The massage chairs are awesome, and unlike some other places, they look brand new.They are usually are very fast, but if you go on thursdays afternoons or saturday there will most likely be a waiting time (no more than 15-20min though).
