I love this Nail/hair salon. I have been going here for about 5 years. Staff is the best staff I have ever been around in a salon. They go above and beyond to meet your expectations of looking beautiful and feeling like a new person when you walk out of there. The environment when you walk in is very upbeat and positive energy. No judgemental at all from the staff and very welcoming right when you walk in. They introduce themselves and always remember your name, which makes me feel like more than just a customer. They make you feel special to them and appreciated for always coming back to them for all your beauty needs to look and feel great. Tiffany is the bomb! She's one of the sweetest and nicest stylists I've ever dealt with. Overall, the salon itself is nice, and the workers are very sweet. I like how you can get exactly what you want without being gouged with ridiculous prices that other salons in NOLA are trying to charge. I still go back, and I would definitely recommend to others. Never let a man do nails!!! Q is rough inconsistent and lacks finesse. My nails look horrible, gel is suppose to be smooth not look like a bad road job! I cried when I left the shop I paid $40 for what! What a waste I don't recommend this place what so ever!!! I now have to wait to have them fixed. AHHHHH Read Less

I went for a pedicure on Sunday. I wasn't very happy with the job they did polishing my toes. They didn't paint the sides of some of my toe nails and even left some of the old polish on (which was a completely different color). They also got some polish on my skin and didn't clean it off. I didn't notice that until I had left otherwise I would have said something. It looked like I painted my toes. The place itself is nice and the people were nice, but I wouldn't go back to get a pedicure. Read Less

This was my first visit at the salon and I was impressed. First to walk in on a Saturday before a holiday 2 hours before closing and be able to be taken within 15 minutes was great. I was greeted by Tiffany who had such a warm and bubbly personality..perfect for a receptionist. Now on to my services. I got a new full set with coffin shaped nails it was $30 (kinda expensive) but I didn't mind paying because it was a very nice salon. Music choices was a bit different for a salon I would like to mention that. My nail tech Ken (like Barbie and Ken ahaha) was great. He kept me involved in a conversation and he was a very funny guy. this was my first time at this salon, and i was pleased to get an appointment on a sunday.the salon was pretty busy for a sunday afternoon, but i was greeted immediately. one thing i noticed right away was a general sense of under-controlness. it felt like this was a shop that has its stuff together, and isn't flustered in any way.i had arrived early so my stylist was busy, but she did take the time to say hello and introduce herself. i sat down with my stylist (tiffani) and explained what i wanted - a drastic change from medium length to super short. i showed her a couple of pictures and within, say, 30 minutes, my hair was amazing and nearly identical to the pics and what i'd had in mind. i looked super! i asked her not to really style my hair or use products, and the final result was so adorable i couldn't stop looking at my hair.also like to mention that tiffani and the whole staff were extremely friendly and it seemed like everyone there was in a good mood.overall, such a good experience. i'll be returning shortly for a trim! I LOVE getting my hair done here and any of the girls do a fantastic job - I HIGHLY recommend for cut and highlights. The lower review is for the nail salon. I had a Shellac French Manicure done here, which I've had done at other places before. One nail peeled off the NEXT DAY and the rest started looking ragged by the end of a week. Any other Shellac manicure I've had has lasted a minimum of a week and a half. Read Less

I was a walk in on an evening weekday for a pedicure. They were able to take me, and on the plus side they were open until 7 or 730. Clean, cheerful place with lots of nail color selection, but I always bring my own. There is a hair stylist too in case anyone is looking for full service. :-) Read Less

I absolutely loved my experience here! I went in at 9 am without an appointment, the staff greeted me and took me right away.  They were very friendly, and showed me their large selection of gel/shellac colors.  The location is extremely convenient since I live near Kawanee/Transcontinental and work at East Jefferson Hospital, and the facility was very clean and modern.Q was my nail tech and he was amazing! He worked quickly, efficiently, and clearly was a professional. I had an acrylic refill with a gel polish, as well as a toe polish change and the price was extremely reasonable! Better than most nail salons in the Metairie/New Orleans area.My nails look better than ever and I could not be more satisfied with my experience here!  I think I have finally found my new nail home, and plan on getting my refill and pedicure next visit with Q, and maybe even a haircut with Gwen (she looks like she knows her stuff and her clients appear to love her work!). They seemed to get busier toward the afternoon, so I recommend going early or making an appointment to avoid waiting.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and BEYOND SATISFIED! I moved to the south shore over a year ago and have been searching for a good nail salon that covered all the basics: quality work, good price, nice people and good service. I have FINALLY found it at Head to Toe. Got a pedi and brow wax for $38. The woman that did my pedi was very detailed and did an excellent job. She was so friendly too. I found this salon on yelp ;)I called and got some pricing, and was able to get an appointment the same day! Yay!My experience was great. I had my doubts, since I have really curly hair, and outside of New York, I have always had an issue. I received a wash promptly, blow out, followed by a trim.My stylist was great. I am sooo impressed. She was very sweet, and made conversation, made me feel comfortable. She did such an excellent job on my hair that I wish I could borrow her hands haha.The whole atmosphere is calm, and there isnt a snobby vibe at all.
