Really disappointed with my last visit here.  I've been coming here for nearly 2 years and on Saturday I was late because I have a newborn at home and overslept for my appointment.  I called first thing when I woke up and they said "come when you can."  Yes, I got there an hour after my appointment time and I apologized profusely.  I even offered to come back later or wait until the salon slowed down.  My nail tech scolded me and made me feel the size of an ant.  Telling me she could have had another client in my spot.  She rushed through my manicure, not clipping all cuticles and the polish is a mess.  I didn't say anything throughout the whole appointment and neither did she after she finished saying what she had to say.  She's lucky I understand they live off of tips because if I was as rude as she was, she wouldn't have gotten anything.  I won't be back.  There are too many places that do nails in the area. No stars for this salon infested with rudeness.  Rude to my elderly mother and my family.  Literally embarrassed a family member for being late after she phoned and said she would be late.  I was uncomfortable and embarrassed as well.  There are many other salons with techs that speak to their clients and speak in understandable English.  That being said, I'm not ever  bringing my mother there nor will I be a client.   So sad that lauren was so rude.  This was once a pleasant salon and enjoyed our time there. My mother and I have been loyal customers of Beyond Nails for over two years now. They usually do a good job and have pleasant staff.However, this morning we walked in together at 9:50AM and were ignored until we got up and left at 10:30AM. We would have stayed and this would have been only a slightly annoying experience if anyone had said to us "we're sorry," or "having a busy morning" or "you'll have a longer wait today" or "someone will see you as soon as they can." But no one said a word to us, not even when we got up and left out of frustration. There are plenty of decent nail salons in the New Orleans area. We will find another one. Read Less

This nail salon is amazing. Mary, one of the owners, takes really good care of her customers and me. I started doing the dip powder for my nails and she does an awesome job! And they have a large selection of colors for dip powder and gel. I highly recommend this nail salon! Read Less

I went here last Saturday for the first and last time. Terrible service, higher prices than other places in the area and the girl that did my nails never said a word to me. When she was done with my Manicure, she just got up and went to do another person's nails. Didn't say thank you or anything. And 3 days later, my nails are already chipping. I will not return. Started going to beyond nails about three months ago the last visit was terrible the nail technician didn't have any common sense she was rude and she did a terrible job my tips aren't even glued to my nails there's a big gap the nails aren't even one of the worst nail jobs I have ever had then she had the nerve to talk about me in Vietnamese like I couldn't tell she was talking about me    Rude rude rude Read Less

Very nice staff, playful, and exact with nails. I had Tina, she was great but everyone in there was pleasant. Prices are responsible for aMani+pedi (55), while they will accept credit/debit cards the first time, they don't on a normal basis, so bring cash or check. I choose to visit this place for the first time based on the reviews. I selected the "Classic" pedicure which cost $32. The service was average up until the salt/sugar scrub and lotion massage. When it was time for the salt/sugar scrub I noticed the nail tech performing the service did not lift my feet up to properly apply the scrub to the bottom of my feet.  I found this strange but thought maybe she would address the bottom of my feet during the lotion massage. During the lotion massage, my feet remained flat, not once did she lift my feet for a full foot massage. My feet were only lifted for the stone/flat razor scrub process to remove the dead skin. I only received a massage to my lower legs. I even asked the nail tech if she would massage my feet and she stated that she did which she obviously didn't. I reiterated this and told her to just continue with the service. At that point I knew that this place was not worth patronizing again. The quality of the service does not suffice for the price. I've never paid for a pedicure that did not include a foot massage. Not sure if the nail tech simply forgot or if it's business as usual to exclude a foot massage during a pedicure. Read Less

Love the place, the wait wasn't too long & people were very nice! On the downside...My daughter & I got mani/pedis the Friday before Easter. The pedis are lasting fine so far as well as my daughters nails, but my polish started to peel off Sat night! Spent $94 not including tip so I thought they should've lasted longer than 24 hrs! Went for a mani/pedi.  My manicurist was very nice.  However the place was absolutely freezing.  Not only that but some of the other workers were pushy and rude.  I will try it again and hopefully this was an off day.  If not I won't be back. Read Less

$20 for gel polish. My nails look fancy but my attitude needed an adjustment after I left there. It's a little steep to what I'm used to for just gel nail polish. It was very busy around 9:30am so it took me a good 30 minutes to be seen. After being seated, every time the phone rang the they stopped what they were doing on me and grabbed the phone so it took quite a while. Now the reason for the 4 stars is because I didn't make an appt so I guess I really shouldn't be complaining. And my nails do look nice. I was searching for a new nail salon and I think I've found it!  Beyond Nails & Spa was very clean and ascetically pleasing to the eye. Elaine did my manicure and she was very professional and friendly. I absolutely love the way my nails look. Stopping by Beyond Nails & Spa will become a part of my pampering routine. Read Less

I don't know why people are leaving this place a bad review. They have a separate room for acrylic nails. My pedicure is still prestine after weeks. This is the only nail salon where my nails don't lift. The quality is great and generally is only 2 dollars more than the cheap nail salons. I consider this place a deal. I love it!!! Read Less
