I got the regular spa pedicure, which I am pleased with for only $25. My heels stay rough, and the technician did a good job smoothing them. She put two different ointments on my legs. One was rough, the other oily. The atmosphere was not exactly welcoming,but I didn't feel out of place either. I'm not sure if I'll be back or keep looking for a regular place. Read Less

I got a shellac but it was done very poorly. The man who did it just didn't seem interested in his work. I left feeling like it was a waste of time and money. I hate to say that bc aside from the bad performance they were very friendly. I just don't think I'll be going back for a second visit.Read Less

This is the saddest nail salon that I have visited in my whole entire life. I didn't know the area so I Yelped the closest nail salons. Exotic Nails was the second nail salon that I visited. The first one was busy.I walk in and ask for a gel fill after standing for a minute workout a greeting. The technician sat me immediately. I was like wow, ok. :-D I'm liking this!  I sat. The technician began to wipe my nail with acetone. "No sir", I stated. "These are gel nails and have to be drilled off." The technician stated something in his native tongue and left the station to attend to two other ladies that were in the salon when I arrived. If he was already working on two separate ladies, why tell me he could take me immediately??? I sat....and I waited...and waited. There were three other technicians in the salon, but they were doing pedicures in the back. How long is too long to wait, I'm thinking to myself. While I was waiting six other women trickled in. No one addressed or acknowledged them. Hmmm. Apparently they knew the drill because they too sat, chatted, and waited. I was directed to one of the female nail technicians who had just completed a pedicure. This lady was angry for no reason. She could not understand that I wanted an acrylic fill work gel overlay. She could not speak much English. I asked for someone who could speak English and share with her what I wanted. The original nail technician had complete the work on the two ladies and stated that he would do my nails.After the long wait, getting ping-ponged back and forth, and waiting again; work commenced on my nails. I chatted with the technician. He stated that his wife and daughter was at the doctor and their absence caused the delay in service. (Who makes doctor appointments on one of their busiest work days??? (smh))  That statement got this establishment two stars, otherwise they would have gotten a half of one. It dawned on me that this man was apparently doing the best he had with what he had.The finished product...AWESOME! I was happy with it. The service was ridicule!!! Read Less

Located in a strip center, this is exactly the kind of pedicure place I was looking for during my stay in Lake Charles- friendly service, promptly greeted at the door and led to a massage chair. I opted for the deluxe pedicure, $35, which included some powder that perfumed the water, some amusing little leaves that were also put into the water (not sure what their purpose was), paraffin wax on my feet, and extra massage on my legs. A pretty decent deal, coming from Houston where a normal spa pedicure is $35. The lady did a good job on my polish and cuticles (although one of them smudged a little an hour later...). I would still go back if I am ever in Lake Charles again and recommend it to anyone staying here, especially based on the other bad reviews of the nail salons in the area! Read Less
