I’ll just add this about this place. I bout 600 dollars worth of gift cards in December 2016 and they sold it to me then in January 2017 told me they did not except them anymore what a joke. Went in, had an older woman do my massage.. which was "ok." She then used some oils that smelt absolutely horrible.. not only did she rub them all over my body, but she put it all over my face. My eyes were literally swollen when I left. After it was all said and done, my massage was supposed to take longer than my husbands, because I was getting an additional hand care thing.. well, she forgot and when I asked her about it-- she simply said I'll take it off your card.. becau...se deep down, she didn't want to do it to begin with, when I had already paid for it. Needless to say, I will never ever visit here again. NEVER! If their staff can't read a sheet of paper that's given to them by the receptionist, then god only knows what else they screw up.. I was truly looking forward to the extra add on that I had paid for.. was also supposed to get a phone call from them to "see what they could do to make it up to me.." but have I heard anything from them? Had such a blast with my sister here! I treated her out to an incredible hot stone and deep tissue massage. The staff was so sweet and had a lovely happy birthday card for her and mimosas for us upon our arrival there. It was by far the best massage ever! Such a wonderful, tranquil, and relaxing place! Riverspa was highly recommended, along with another "upscale" spa in the city, but chose this for its location. There were three of us having facials, massages, and pedi-manis. Do the math, this was not inexpensive, nor did I expect it to be. Two complaints: After spending whatever it was for the facial for my granddaughter, the esthetician was going to give her extra samples of a particular product but was told by her manager not to. Really, now. I spent close to $700 on se...rvices and products not including generous tips and extra samples are frowned upon? The second complaint was my nail tech. She was either new at her job or didn't care about the quality of her service. It was around the holidays and I chose a festive red for my natural nails and toenails. The first red flag was when she said she wasn't good at "painting" red. The 2nd red flag was when she nipped two of my cuticles. The 3rd red flag was when my nail polish looked like a 2-year old did it. This was some time ago so I don't know if that particular tech (forgot her name) is still there. I doubt it. It doesn't matter, tho', I'll choose the competitor next time. My children gifted me with a 90 minute hot stone massage at River Spa for my birthday.  I saved it until I had almost finished packing up our house to move out of the area--I was stiff,  sore, and had a pulled muscle in my back.  Fortunately, I, too, got Dee as my massage therapist.  The word amazing does not give my massage justice.  Dee was excellent,  everything you want in a therapist.  Dee was nice and thoughtful;  she did not yak the whole time but let me relax;  she checked on the pressure;  she took the time to work on my pulled muscle in addition to giving me a complete,  wonderful massage!  I wholeheartedly recommend the hot stone massage.  I also highly recommend Dee. River Spa was also beautiful and had a relaxing lounge.   Please treat yourself.  It was worth every dime. Read Less

i had a deep tissue massage with heidi and she was awesome......but the pedi that i had was not worth it, but would like to try jamie for a pedi next time, the women she was working on next to me looked very satisfied, but the atmosphere was great and relaxing, staff was very friendly! Read Less
