Riverspa was highly recommended, along with another "upscale" spa in the city, but chose this for its location. There were three of us having facials, massages, and pedi-manis. Do the math, this was not inexpensive, nor did I expect it to be. Two complaints: After spending whatever it was for the facial for my granddaughter, the esthetician was going to give her extra samples of a particular product but was told by her manager not to. Really, now. I spent close to $700 on se...rvices and products not including generous tips and extra samples are frowned upon? The second complaint was my nail tech. She was either new at her job or didn't care about the quality of her service. It was around the holidays and I chose a festive red for my natural nails and toenails. The first red flag was when she said she wasn't good at "painting" red. The 2nd red flag was when she nipped two of my cuticles. The 3rd red flag was when my nail polish looked like a 2-year old did it. This was some time ago so I don't know if that particular tech (forgot her name) is still there. I doubt it. It doesn't matter, tho', I'll choose the competitor next time. For the record, the facials and massages were as good as we had expected, and the other two ladies in my party were pleased with their man-pedis. See more Read Less
