Have been doing nails here since moving to Lafayette a year ago. Very friendly staff. They do a great job & love that they have the plastic disposal liners for pedicures. Just wish they did filling on the powder on the nails, instead of having to re-done completely. Read Less

Horrible customer service. Higher prices than the other nail salons. I was sitting next to my friend with my feet in the water waiting for an hour. They took care of two other people that arrived after me before me.  When they finally said that it was my turn,  it was already 630 so I said no we have to go. Then I went with my friend to cash out and they still charged me five dollars for nothing... for having my feet in the water waiting an hour. Also, we were deciding on nail polishes before and we picked out several and we're sitting down looking at them and the lady came and took them from us. Excellent manis and pedis.  The owner and techs are incredibly nice.  Love those massage chairs!  Note: the salon has posted operating hours of opening at 9am, but for the first 15-25 minutes there is only one (male) nail tech on site until the rest of the crew rolls in around 9:30. Clean, professional, great "kits" for each service, and they are very appreciative of all customers.  When you can name clients by their first name its a good sign! Read Less

This was my first time to This salon...it was HORRIBLE!! He totally messed up my nails!! They are all different shapes, lumpy and he took WAY too much off of the side of the tips! Now they look awful! I was so upset, then he told me I still had to pay, even though I didn't want him to finish! So now, not only am I out the cost of his crappy fill job, I need to go somewhere else to get a whole new set!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! Read Less

I have been other places and have not enjoyed the services. I really enjoy the services here at Hobby Nails. ESPECIALLY the pedicures! The staff is always so polite and they take their time doing your mani/pedi! I will not be going anywhere else! Read Less

Good mani/pedi. This is the only nail salon I have been to since I moved here in June so I don't have anywhere else to compare it to locally. It's your typical nail salon; however, the massage chairs are awesome! They have a good selection of OPI colors. My nails were shaped well. The techs are nice. The prices are reasonable. I spent $40 on a traditional mani/pedi. They have a great magazine selection (recent mags ranging from InStyle to home decor magazines). They had a plastic form that fit precisely in the pedi bowl that they replaced for each new client. I really liked that. The place was busy. They have a TV, and they were playing a Lifetime show that everyone seemed to be into. Good experience overall, and right next door to the hair salon I go to. They have snacks and water/pop for $1.
