I went there today and they did an amazing job, they have a huge selection of colors, were extremely nice (gave me a bottle of water) and aren't nearly as expensive as half the places i've been to! I went in at 6:20 and they close at 7 but they saw me anyway AND stayed open an extra hour to ensure that my nails got done perfectly! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.If you have ever had dip powder done, you know it can be a lengthy process. I came to visit my daughter found this place on yelp. We got a mani.pedi. The ladies were fun, fast and friendly.  The 2 of us were in out in just a little over an hour. When I was fairly new to Lafayette, I managed to mangle all my nails just prior to a bunch of business presentations I'd had to give and out of last minute desperation decided to try acrylics in hopes of looking presentable.  Not my normal routine, so I tried a few different salons but couldn't ever figure out why the results didn't look great to me.  Finally read a bunch of Yelp reviews  and saw that Lisa had a great reputation for sculpting acrylics so decided to give Elite a try.  Walked in late in the day and told them I wanted the current acrylics taken off and a full set reapplied.  Lisa keeps a hawks eye on everything going on in that salon - she took one look and said she knew exactly what was wrong and could correct and reshape with just a fill.  I would up keeping her and Tony there late, but they couldn't have been more gracious.  Wound up leaving there with PERFECT nails and have been an absolutely faithful customer ever since!!Within one or two visits, they had me transitioned out of acrylics and into just gel polish, and my hands have always looked impeccable ever since.  That is, just until last when I was out of town and wound up peeling off my gel AND ripping off my nails during a harrowing road trip down a rollercoaster road through the Ozark foothills in the snow.  With a full week of business presentations coming up again, I've given the mangled fingers a chance to heal and guess what - off to Lisa for acrylics again!!  Overall, can't say enough good things about this salon.  Entire staff is talented and friendly, they remember you after your first visit and greet you by name, and always do a great job at a very reasonable price.  I've had manicures, pedicures, acrylics, and gels, so I feel like I've gotten a sample of the full range of their services and they're consistent across everything.  Elite has changed me from a girl who never stepped foot in a nail salon to an every other week like clockwork customer!  If you're looking for a nail salon, don't even think twice - they're the best in town!! FINALLY I found the perfect nail shop here in Lafayette :) I had a bad experience in a previous one but this place is the BEST place to go than any nailshop I ever been to! My nails came out so PERFECT exactly how I wanted them all thanks to Lisa! Pedicure also came out exactly how I wanted it! They took their time and made sure I was satisfied the whole way through. They made me feel very welcomed here and they even offered me water! She doesn't try to oversell you she actually cares about building and keeping her clients to stay coming back. Came across this salon on Yelp. I visited because it was close to my hotel, and the reviews were positive. It was a pretty busy (right after 5:00) when I went, and the salon itself isn't big. I was surprised I didn't have to wait long to get a chair. The lady who did my pedicure was so meticulous. And she made sure I was happy with it before I left. Just moved to Lafayette from Vancouver BC and I came across this salon. This was THE BEST nail experience I've ever had. I showed Tony and Lisa a picture of what I wanted and that's exactly what they gave me. While my pedicure and nails were cute this place is far to expensive. 70 for pedicure shellac on nails and toes. No ma'am I will not be returning.  Apparently I paid 50 for a pedicure and shellac and 20 for shellac  on my nails. Shellac anywhere else costs and extra 5 to maybe 10 if you push it. 20 is just out of the question. Read Less
