the girl that did my pedicure rushed it. it wasn’t relaxing at all and when she painted my toes she kept messing it up. instead of redoing what she messed up she kept applying polish which made it thick and stayed wet for hours after so i ended up smudging the nails. so not a great experience for my first time there. This is one of the WORST NAIL shops I've ever been to (and I've been to many.) First of all there is only one person who does decent nails & it's a 20 year old kid!! (The owners son) the owners do not speak English so you cannot speak with them , you have to go through their kids... the products they use are SUPER CHEAP and will have you left with fungus. I got fungus on over 5 nails and I've only been to their shop 4 times !!! One of my nails was completely geeen today when ...they took off my last set , I was astonished because I've never had this happen in the 10+ years of doing my nails. I tried addressing this and they blamed ME?! I go every 2-3 weeks and take very good care of my nails so that was false. Every time I've went I waited hours yes HOURS just to get my nails done. This time due to seeing all the fungus & waiting 2 hours I decided to leave , I was very upset and the owners child argued with me in front of the entire shop and said that the fungus was my fault and just completely disrespected me. I was in town for a concert and needed a pedicure. I found this salon on Yelp and it had good reviews and was nearby. I ended up getting way more than I bargained for when I got the "Johnny experience." He did my nails and they turned out so cool! Who even knew there was unicorn hologram powder you could use an an ombré effect? I was blown away with what I saw him doing on other ladies nails. He's a true artist and has a great personality to boot. You can look up "Cathy's nails - Johnny" on Instagram and Facebook and see some of his work. The prices were super reasonable. Pedicure was great with hot stone and paraffin. For my nail they did a natural dip powder. Just sad I don't live here! Read Less

I've been going to Cathy's for years. It is consistently the best place I've found to get my nails and feet done. No matter how busy they are, the quality of the work never changes. Recently, I moved to Florida, but I made two trips back to get my nails and feet done. I will miss having them a short drive away! Read Less

Had no time really... Just needed a quick manicure. Haven't been real happy with couple places in lafayette.... Saw Cathys on Yelp and the reviews were great... Decided to try them... Walked in... Asked for a quick manicure... Took about 15 minutes... They massaged my arms and hands and dipped my hands in the hot wax... Super clean... Super nice people... Will definetly go back. $15 later!!! I've been here twice, both times for a pedicure and one of the times I got a manicure. I've been a few other places since moving to Lafayette and I'd have to say this place is by far the best one. I get a pedicure every now and then to treat my feet since I work offshore, and They do a fantastic job taking care of me. I would recommend them to anyone. Read Less

I know this is gonna sound strange .. but I go here often because there isn't usually a wait. she does a good job; and I feel sorry for them because I don't think they get allot of business. however I can kind of see why; because its so slow they allow the kids to do home work, watch TV, and eat in the middle of the store. They also let the dog run around the shop. (doesn't exactly instill confidence ) but they do a good job at fair prices. Read Less
