I got a fill and pedi with gel polish. After 3 days the gel started peeling, especially on my thumb nails. They completely peeled off. I called and spoke to Tommy who offered to fix it. This was by FAR my worst experience in over 17 years of regularly getting pedicures and acrylic. I was rushed the entire time, told to do a different service other than what I wanted because it would be faster for them. Having a pedicure now and Vo is AWESOME! My toes have never looked better and he took his time to make sure it was done well and thoroughly. Will definitely be coming back and asking for Vo! When not in New Orleans thisnis where i come to treat my nails. Avalon has a clean space, great service and an awesome polish selection. The menu is extensive and offers plenty of options. The salon offers an upscale experience but easy on the wallet. I have nothing bad to say about this nail salon and my nail tech Tina was beyond great! I would definitely recommend this spot. 4.5 stars. Staff was professional and detailed, but there was too much talking among themselves in their native tongue. They were not very coversational with customers. Complementary water was not offered until leaving. Overall, the store was very clean, everything was extremely sanitary, and the work was impeccable. They were very honest about prices as well. Relaxing peaceful experience. No wait and sweet professional women who work there. It is more of a spa experience than a nail salon. Would recommend eyelash extensions. Affordable prices and beautiful nail work. Polish is new and dries properly. They do not give you the old polish that doesn't dry properly like at some salons.
