Great salon and they are always super busy! Ann and Mai are wonderful and do great gel manicures and pedicures. Johnny is fabulous with waxing he never leaves my face red! I definitely recommend them all to my friends! Make sure you go early and give your self plenty of time, they are always busy and only take appointments early in the week and not on the weekends. I LOOOOVEEE Essentials!!!I just left there for a gel repair as I only had them on for 3 days and for some reason it wasn't sticking to my nails and ended up losing 4 of them.  So I called and the receptionist Liz, informed me to come in today to get my repair done. I ended up just upgrading to the "dip" manicure to assure they'd stay on this time and my tech's name was Johnny. HE WAS AMAZEBALLZ! Amazing customer service as they only charged me 7$ for the difference. So of course I left him a nice tip! Great conversation! He made the experience so much better as well as the rest of the crew, making me feel welcomed and important!! Thanks again Johnny!! You da best homie! And THANK YOU for the birthday wishes!! I came here after a few friends said I should try a "dip" color as it is suppose to last longer than gel. As for the durability I can't yet tell you, it's only been a few days. But as for the color selection: it's phenomenal! It took me a good 5-10 minutes to browse through all the dip colors before I could pick one! During my mani, the tech was having a conversation with the tech next to her in determining how to get the correct color for another customer's nails. Instead of being annoying, I found this intriguing. It's a treasure to find someone who is so knowledgeable about nails and coloring! I use to love this place but recently I feel as if they have declined rapidly. Got my toes done on Tuesday and this is them on Saturday.. I'm going to try and find a different salon. I used to love this place. It was a solace among a plethora of salons with sub par ambiances. The energy was great. The prices were competitive. They honor appointments M-Th. And while I still love Mai and have had great service from a few of the other technicians (Phi, Jimmy, Johnny to name a few), I fear I will have to find another salon very soon. I have my nails and feet done every two weeks. Over the last few months, they have been going up on prices on different things, but you never find out until you get to the register. And their prices are not posted anywhere that patrons can see them. So first it was they started charging for designs. That makes sense, but when you neglect to charge a customer at the time of them being at the salon, it is inappropriate to call them at home, after business hours, and tell them you need to charge them an additional $20. This happened to my sister. She consented to the additional charge. But when she came back two weeks later, they stopped her and told her they would not allow her to be seen until she had paid the $20, as if it was her error when they didn't charge her initially or after she consented. They behaved as if she tried to steal something.Next scenario, they went up on their gel polish ($1) and gel manicure ($2) prices, but it wasn't posted and you didn't find out until you got to the register. Then they went from charging $2 per nail for design to $10 for one designed nail on each hand and $20 for all nails.Today, I was thinking I would get my nails painted with one finger a different color on each hand. This is something I often do. I find out today that they have started charging for the one nail color difference. When I asked why, they noted an increase in cost. How is that possible? I did not grow an extra finger. It is no more paint and it's not even a design. In fact, it does not take the technician any more time to paint. There is no reasonable explanation for this additional cost. Needless to say, I only had one color painted on my hands and feet.This place will nickle and dime its customers without regard for consistency or fairness. The customer service of the owners has plummeted. I really enjoy the technicians here, but cannot in good conscience patronize a place that disregards my business or my wallet. My first time going there was last week and I got a gel manicure. I loved the way the decor and upscale look. There were many workers and they even had s front desk receptionist who was very pleasant and always smiling. My manicure was very rushed and I think it was because I went right before they were closing. So I get it. But, after only 1 week my gel peeled right off of 3 nails. So, I went back this week to get just a gel polish change. The color options are endless which is great for people who are indecisive like me. But, it cost me $34 for this service. I don't know why it cost me so much for just a polish change. Overall, I like the service and the presentation but I do not like the prices or the gel manis. Read Less

I had an absolutely awesome day today... Carrie Biggio @carriebig3 was my hair stylist and artist today. Absolutely loved her!!! She listens to what you want and what your needs are... I didn't want crazy blond highlights I wanted something that looks natural but still highlighted, she delivered that and more... I absolutely love my style and my color... I am very very pleased... call and set your appointment up with her 504.733.3133  I actually live in Houston now but I seriously would come back on my regular visits here to New Orleans just to get my hair done by her... yes I  serious... all the stylist I have ever visited always end up doing what they want and have not listed to what my needs were in other locations I have visited... but Carrie Biggio delivered and I am an extremely happy person today... thanks Carrie... Went in on my lunch break for a manicure and left highly disappointed. The nail tech did a good job on the manicure but screwed up the polish part. This is not the first time they messed up but the this is the first time I voiced my opinion. The color was not what I wanted, I ended up with 8 coats of nail polish on my nails. The guy wanted to put another coat to make it look shiney since the matte coat did not work. I told him no ans that I needed to leave and I could come back later. They tried to make me pay for the horrible work that was done. I refused and stated I can come back after work to get this resolved. Went back after work and waited for 30 mins before "someone that can do gel nails" arrived to assist me. At this point I told them the only service I wanted was this polish off and I did not need them to do anymore work. As I was waiting for a nail tech 5 people left in anger because their appointment was not met by this salon. I will not return to this place ever again. Read Less
