I was visiting the area over the holiday and needed a fill...bad! I looked on yelp and found Cindy's nails. It was pretty close to where I was staying and saw it had great photos and wonderful reviews. So I'm a little taken a back that I did not get the same level of service. A lady did my nails, I did not catch her name but she was not pleasant at all. Now I've been getting my nails done for at least 20 years so I'm well aware of what's right and what's wrong. I'm very picky as well. As she was doing my nails I could tell it was wrong and let her know that she did not put enough of the acrylic material (powder) to the ends of the nails and it looked completely jacked up. My old polish was orange and I was getting a clear glitter polish and you could still see all the orange on my nails that she was too lazy to get off.She kept saying she wasn't finished and she still needed to file. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but long story short I absolutely HATED my nails.I'm not one to try not to pay when I'm unsatisfied or try to cause a scene, but after spending $70 I just left mortified and embarrassed that I not only wasted money but I had to live with these awful nails for two weeks. I had to be at an event in 30 minutes so I didn't have time for her to try again, but I needed to vent my frustrations here to warn people that this ain't what you want. Maybe the men here are better at doing nails, don't let that lady jack you up like she did me. I'm only giving it two stars for the simple fact of the products are good quality and it didn't look like I needed a fill after the two weeks. But other than that...chile... warning you. Read Less

FIVE STAR REVIEW AND BEYOND!!!!! Under new management/ownership, and while I have never been there before, I can say that Andy is superb at what he does!!!! He is a man of his word. I called around to different salons on a Sunday, I was in desperate need......and it was just my luck that Cindy's was open by appointment only. Because someone had pushed their appointment back, Andy was nice enough to get me in. Coming here far exceeded my expectations, he paid close attention to what he was doing, did not rush and recommended services based upon my need. He absolutely did a phenomenal job on my toes, nails, and eyebrows..... I am most impressed, and did I mention I am a stickler about my eyebrows, but I bit the bullet and gave him a try..... to my surprise must I say "ON FLEEK". Walked in.. was somewhat greeted..not a big deal with me...man with tats and balding buzz cut comes at me as im picking a nail polish TELLING me YOU DO GEL..GEL BETTER...I say sure..I haven't had my nails done "professionally" in a very long time..so let's splurge...he puts nails on..neverminded my choice on length and shape...cuts 3 cuticles with the drill...he was shaky..in a rush...irritated...DIDN'T SPEAK AT ALL..nails werent even all shaped the same on top of being the shape i didnt ask for..when he pulls out the lamp for the gel polish I told him NO. I just paid for the set he put on and left...went straight home to file 30 dollars of acrylic myself and paint them..WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!! Read Less
