I felt rushed the entire time. I had a gel manicure done, and when I put my nails in to dry she had me squeeze both hands in the dryer. Soso pedicure with beyond a doubt the rudest staff I've ever had to be around. People that are that disgruntled with their jobs should look elsewhere. Re-fill is $14.99. I was charged $26.00. When I questioned why, the older gentleman that did my nails, told me because he had to repair two nails. He only repaired/replaced one. The other one he simply put the acrylic over. The one he did replace was not filed to match the others. I only went because my regular nail place had an emergency. I came in here a few days before my wedding to get a mani/pedi with my bridesmaids. we all got in super quickly and it didn't take long to finish up. their selection of colors wasn't broad. my bridesmaids and i were constantly haggled for getting gel nails, matte finish, etc. (i ended up getting gel on my hands). the prices on the board did not match for what we were charged ($120 for two manis and one pedi). I wasn't happy with the color she put on my nails, as it was not the color i had chosen but she assured me it would turn out the same color as my toes. when my toes were drying, one of the women pulled my foot out from under the dryer, checked to see if it was dry, messed up my polish, and smudged it back into place. over all, i will not be returning. i felt as if they were pushy about asking me what i wanted done after repeatedly telling them no, and i feel they preferred the money over the quality of the job done. I have gone to this salon before just for a polish change. My experience Saturday was not a good one. I got a manicure and that went fine besides them not offering me to get a gel polish that was offered to others receiving a manicure but i guess i didnt look the part. The owners wife waxed my eyebrows. NIGHTMARE she was so rough and i told her i like to keep my brows thick, she literally took off all my brows. I will never go back nor recommend to anyone. HORRIBLENESS. My daughter went to have her nails FILLED IN. She specifically asked them the price and they quoted her "$18.00". By the time she left they charged her $25.00 and did not tell her until AFTER they were done. I called them to speak to them about it and the woman that owns it put her son on the phone. Nails so happy?..? Ummm. Not really. This place is awful. The lady was very rude. Not friendly at all. First she tried to talk me out of the colors I wanted. When I asked if she did Ombré nails she didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Then she made some crack about my hands being soft as a baby...and that I must not work at home. What? I live on a Soy/ Corn farm and take care of dogs, ducks, a cat and cook for 8 of us! This is a business trip for hubby and I came along. This was a "treat" for me. I only get my nails done about once every two yrs! My gel manicure is pretty but my nails are all rough on the edges. I just got polish for my toes so basically a very minimal pedicure. Which was fine but she was so rushed ( and I was the only customer) That she didn't let my toes dry completely . One messed up immediately when she put my sandles on. She quickly patched it. Ok, i hope you chilling with a cold beer or a mug of hot coffee, cause i got a lot to say. My first visit the prices posted did not apply to me. Amy did my nails and gave me increasing pricing. Now let me say up front, that she was nice and kept saying we make your nails beautiful, as if they looked like hard labor hands, but i digress. I have solar powder overlay on my nails. After the posted price of $24.99 did not apply to me, then the posted price of $35.00 did not apply to me. We finished haggling at $45.00 plus $5.00 to take off my current set. I rarely wear pink and white the $35.00 price. Who knew, as the sign is not clear. I was desparate. She got clippers and on one finger clipped it. I started screaming what the freak are you doing? Ok, didn't say freak, but yelp is censored. After i stopped yelling and acting a fool, they bought over the acetone solution for me to soak in. From that point on, one nub, my nails were done and done right. She was very talkative and friendly and insisted she make my nails beautiful. That was the common theme, phrase, topic, etc...and i appreciated that rehearsed catch phrase. I can not find pictures of the first time. I will continue to look. I had not planned to return to this shop because I was given 4 other shops to try. However, i broke a nail and it was sunday. They are open on Sunday. This is a huge plus in their favor. I went back. This trip is the glitter purple nails trip. Amy recognized me and we sat down to do my nails. I thought we got things straight during the first visit. Nope. Nope. Nope. This babe. Again censored for yelp. Got her clippers and within seconds clipped all my nails to nubs then pulled out her false tip container to start gluing on nail tips. Lawd lawd, i dang near lost my mind. Glad no police were near. I asked her what is she doing? She said you don't like long nails. What? Really? I said i walked in here with long nails, you cut them off, now you want to glue on false tips. Heck no. I do not wear false tips. Those were not tips that you whacked off, those were my nails, my dang nails. Jeeze. Do ladies in Shreveport not take skin hair and nail vitamins to grow their own nails. Stuff on me ain't false and fake. I am all real and all natural. Heck! Thus the nubs. She freaking whacked my nails down to nubs i guess assuming my nails had to be false tips. I really plan to visit the other shops. The price this trip changed. It was $40.00 instead of $50.00. Hum. Lets look in the sky and jerk down a price. She was again complimentary nice and did the actual job right. Their shop is very small, but clean. My little, sweet, Italian mother went in for an eyebrow wax. They took 90% of her eyebrows off and she was so upset so I complained. I said she shouldn't have to pay for poor service and that us Italians like thicker brows. Instead of apologizing they starting screaming, "SCREW ITALIANS, NEVER COME BACK!" got mt nails done wednesday called saturday because they were already coming off. i paid 45'for pink and white solar so thwy should definitely not be doing that in 3 days time. they told meto come in the next day andthey would fix it. so the next day i.go in. she tells me days.1-4'she fixes for free but 5 and up is not free so im thinking today is day four so it should be free right? after she gets done she informs me it will be ten dollars so i tell.her its.only been four days since Wednesday. she said no its been six days. seriously i had no idea there were 6'days between Wednesday and sunday because i seem to be missing a couple. i pay the lady her ten dollars which i shouldnt have done. i should have walked out and not payed the lady but i believe in karma she will get hers one day. she really had the nerve to tell me to come back in two weeks and get a refill. i dont think so. and id advise everyone to stay far away from this place . thwy are literrally the worst place in the qorld to get youe nails done. Bad Service and Shady pricing!  Beware don't waste your time! I stopped in to get a mani/pedi because I saw a sign on the sidewalk saying, Pedicure-$24.99 Manicure-$14.99; I Just wanted to relax after a long day. They sat me in the pedi chair and it was really unconfortable,she pulled out a file to use on me and it had nail polish dripping off it, I asked her if they steralized their tools between use and she just ignored me and grabbed another file. She finished the pedicure quickly in about 15 min. she then asked if I wanted a clear polish on my toes, I said, no I just wanted them buffed so she made me get up and walk across to sit down at a manicure station. She then made me lift up my foot and put it in her lap under the table, extremely akward and uncomfortable. She then buffed my toes with a dremal tool!  Needless to say I decided not to move forward with the manicure.  When I got up to the register the lady informed me it was $35, when I told her the sign on the sidewalk said $24.99 she said that was for women and that men were $35.  The pedicure wasn't even worth $10 let alone $35, don't waste your money!
